Dropped in because I needed my caffeine fix and I decided on the Einspanner. 10/10 very good ratio to ratio of drip coffee and milk! The ambiance is very nice and welcoming. Very modern feel to the inside and the workers are so nice and helpful when deciding on a drink to choose from off their menu! I will be back to try more menu items! Thank you Babo Boba for the great experience!

Located in Oakmont Square, the same plaza as Gochi Fusion Tapas. We got there around 11:20am on a Saturday and the store was empty. Definitely more of a boba shop vibe but they have a few tables to dine in and 2 outdoor tables too. We decided to eat outside since it seemed kinda stuffy indoors. To place our order, there were two touchscreens to order from. We tried..SPICY PORK KOREAN LUNCHBOX $24.99 -marinated spicy spork with stir fried vegetables. The lunchbox includes rice, salad, vegetable croquette and imitation crab meat rolls (4 pieces). Croquette was hot and crispy, wish I had a dipping sauce for it though. Salad was fresh and the dressing was yummy. Spicy pork was okay, the sauce was kinda powdery?..could use more flavor. Didn't have a char to it either. My husband ate the imitation crab rolls and he said they were good, nicely packed and he liked the veggies. He's not a fan of imitation crab either. Everything tasted fresh. 4/5* TUNA KIMBAP $15 -pretty big pieces, packed very well (wasn't loose or falling apart) and very filling. I enjoyed all the veggies in it. They gave a nice crunch. I also liked how they used purple rice too. 4/5*SOTTEOK SOTTEOK $9.50 -sweet & spicy rice cakes and sausage skewers. I liked the crispiness of the rice cakes with chewy/soft centers and the saltiness of the sausages. Wished the glaze was a tad sweeter but overall good. 4/5*DALGONA LATTE $6 -espresso latte topped with dalgona honeycomb. It was strong! I wished it was a tad sweeter though for my taste preference. 3.5/5* We got our latte first and it was brought out to our table by a worker. Our food came out later, already packaged togo. Overall, a bit pricey but everything tasted fresh and we left full with leftovers too. Would probably come back to try their other kimbaps and snacks if we were in the area.

FLAVOR (4/5): Tried the rose rice cakes and tuna kimbap! The rose wasn't like how I've had it anywhere else it almost had a cajun spice to it. It went well with the cheese, fish cake and sausage in it. The tuna kimbap was super refreshing and light which makes for a perfect lunch on the go. Their drinks on the other hand wasn't really good. INSTAGRAM WORTHY (4/5): The inside is simple and cute. A few tables and a self order island in the center of the store. They have a boba wall with a neon sign. The food is really pretty to look at as well! SERVICE (4/5): Self order and pick up your order when called. It took a while for the items of our order to come out but at least it felt made to order! TAKEAWAYS: A bit pricey but the food quality is pretty good! It's great picnic food too. Would not get their drink here though.

I've been to Babo Babo since it was just a small storefront on Saratoga Ave, so I was excited to check out their new location. Now, they serve more food options. We ordered the sotteok sotteok, bulgogi kimbap, einspanner, and matcha einspanner. The food was decent, but honestly, nothing stood out as particularly special and it was a bit overpriced for what it was. Both the einspanner and the matcha einspanner were pretty mid.On the plus side, service was fast, and there's enough indoor seating. Parking wasn't an issue either, which is always a bonus.Overall, it's okay for a quick bite, but I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to visit again.

Came here specifically for the viral Tanghulu. Sadly the oranges weren't yet set during our visit, so we ordered what was available - grapes. It was sweet, but the batch that we got didn't feel set either so it was a little melty. It was the first time I tried this snack, so I'm not sure if that's how it should be. We were pleased with their savory snacks. Tried the gimbap and tteokboki. Both brought me to life! There's not too much seating, or at least everything was mostly taken during our visit (around 3-4pm). But you can always take it to go!

It's a K-pop themed/aesthetics influenced boba place tucked in the back of a lowkey plaza. Not busy at all on Memorial Day before dinner. There is the option to order online and pick up in store, but they do make you create an account for their site (not a secondary app). All food orders are made to order and are mouthwateringly enticing based on their photos. Inside there's K-pop music videos playing, tablet kiosks to order from, board and card games to play, plenty of seating inside and outside, and free water. We got the: 1) Dalgona Milk Tea (less sweet): -The Dalgona craze has died down a bit, but seeing that this is more of a unique drink (I've only seen Dalgona coffee), I had to try it. -It's made with their house black milk tea and the honeycomb pieces. Gradually the honeycomb pieces are supposed to melt into the drink, but if you're thirsty or a glutton, these are just sweet crunchy munchies for you. -Even at only less sweet setting, the tea itself tasted diluted to me. Maybe I was SUPPOSED to be patient and wait for the honeycomb pieces to melt, but alas...2) Bulgogi Kimbap: -Definitely the MVP of the order. -Made to order and is exactly like the pics they have online. Aesthetically pleasing in a foodie sense. -They use purple rice too and the rice to ingredients ratio is spot on. LOTS of bulgogi meat and filling. -It comes with 8 pieces with the end pieces with bigger veggie cuts, perfect for pictures. -Each roll has carrots, perilla leaves, green onions, pickled radish and burdock root, and egg. You have the option to exclude any of these ingredients too if you please. -Bulgogi meat was moist and had the perfect sweet to subtly umami flavor. I probably didn't get the best drink, but the food is so good here. If I'm in the area/plaza again, I don't mind getting more kimbap or their dosirak packed rice meals. PS. LOL at the Squid Games font haha.

One word. Average. Not super terrible but not a place I'd come to often after my first experience. Came around 7:30pm on a Wednesday and it was pretty empty. My first thoughts when entering were that it's really cute inside. The interior is super cute, there's seating, an island in the middle of the store, and loud music bumping. There are 2 kiosks for self order but I found them to be not the most user friendly and kind of slow. Not a big deal tho. Also something to note is that the menu on the kiosks did not have everything that was shown in the tv menu. So if you want something but can't find it on the kiosk might have to ask the cashier. For example, my sister wanted the blueberry matcha but the kiosk only showed strawberry matcha. We came for the tanghulu but it was sold out. I'm guessing we came when the store was about to close in 30 minutes and it's a first come first serve situation. I ordered food items only which were: 1. Burrito with chicken - This was good and savory. A bit salty than what I would have liked but they really pack in the rice and protein. The chicken was cooked nicely and tender. I give this a 7/102. Rose rice cakes - I was so disappointed when I tried this. I'm not even kidding it taste like rice cakes in seafood boil sauce. Straight rose rice cakes from Louisiana. It was extremely salty and lacked that gochujang flavor in rose tteokbokki. I did see a review on this saying it was salty too. However, the rice cakes itself and fish cake were chewy and nice. This was 20 bucks and I would not get it again. 4/10My sister ordered the Jasmine milks tea with Crystal boba, grass jelly and 25% sweetness. She said that the Crystal boba tasted a bit sour after chewing it and she was right. It has a weird sour taste the more you chew it. The tea itself was good and tasted like any Jasmine milk tea you can get at a boba store. 25% sweetness was a good sweetness level but I'm also someone who doesn't like my drinks super sweet. I think 35% would've been good too. Keep in mind that there's a note that they are short on staff so if you do order food it might take some extra time. My food came out a little after 20 minutes . Servers were nice. Overall, even tho I gave this a 3 star rating my sister and I agreed on 2.5 stars to meet in the middle. She would actually give it 2 stars.

I used to frequent Babo Boba when they were right next door to my apartment. Unfortunately they moved a bit further away, but I knew their new location had a lot of potential. And after a few visits, I think they're not only living up to it but constantly getting better!Their drinks (coffee, tea, and specialties) have been pretty good. What I love is their array of unique offerings, such as the Whitepink (Signature Korean strawberry milk with real strawberries) and the Dalgona drinks (remember Squid Game?) This helps them stand out in the crowded boba market. And it seems that every time I return, they add new items to the menu. I'm looking forward to try more espresso drinks, for example...The creativity and quality extends to the food, though I haven't sampled as much of their offerings (yet). The croffle in particular was delightful. Like with the drinks, they seem to be regularly adding more items. The interior is clean and stylish, and the staff are friendly. You can order on the kiosks if you prefer.Overall, I am excited for the future of Babo Boba Cafe and can easily recommend it.

I have been coming here as my go to spot for lunch since it's near by where I work and what keeps me coming is the friendly service as well as the quick and easy options for food (kimbap being my favorite!) The owner is a very generous and down to earth guy that makes sure that everything I order is to my satisfaction. The store itself is clean and trendy with tablets to order your food or boba and a tv screen to watch kpop or something for the car enthusiast if that's your thing. Parking can sometimes be a struggle, but it's a small plaza so what can you expect?Overall, this place never fails
