I've been to this Asha Corner Countless times!!!!This place is literally my second home! LolEvery time I am in VN town I'm always here! First I enjoyed the upbeat live music. The Chill, relaxing, and lovely vibes is why I truly like coming to this place. In addition to delicious food, Snacks, Drinks, and Delicious Desserts, there indoor and outdoors spacious seatings in another ones of my favorite about Asha Corner. The best of it all is that I really love the colorful vibrant theme displays and traditional decorations all over the inside of this shop. New Year's and birthdays are absolutely my favorite times here at Asha Corner!!!

A friend recommended this but also it was because the waitlist for tasty pot was too long. Came here on a Sunday around 7pm and not too busy. Its pretty inside and decent amount of seating. There are two kiosks you can order from but for some reason it wasn't taking my card so I ended up ordering with the cashier which worked there. It's also connected to R&B tea if you wanted to get a drink! I decided to get two dishes: 1. Stir fried noodles with garlic beef (mi xao toi Bo) - There are noodles, beef, red peppers, onions, cilantro and green onions I believe. Make sure to mix this really well because I didn't initially and thought it was a bit on the bland side. The sauce is underneath the meat so really mix the noodles with it. The dish comes with this broth that you can see in the picture on the top right. Helps wash it down! This dish was good but not something I would go outta my way to get again. Also comes with spicy sauce. :) 2. Chicken feet with Thai sauce (Chan ga sot Thai) - Now I love me some chicken feet so I was excited to see that they had this here. It's not your Chinese red dim sum chicken feet but a different version. This was good and I would get it again. The base sauce under the chicken feet is sweet. The chicken feet is crunch and had decent amount of meat. There are also mangoes I think? It also comes with this salty sauce to balance it out. Overall I would come back to try the other dishes if I'm in the area but would not go outta my way for. This is a nice spot to chill with friends.

Most of the food halls I've been to in the Bay have been sterile. And, then there's THIS one in Vietnam Town. There's NO name but it's a total vibe...Hip. Vibrant. Covers of Top 40s blasting. IG walls and neon signs. Paper lantern wall. Lush greenery in the outdoor seating. All that's missing is a karaoke system for drunk uncle. You know how 'em uncles be getting down after a couple of dranks (beer available here). This two-year young food hall is located in back of Vietnam Town (near Walmart parking lot side) and houses: A-Sha Corner (Viet Street Food/Snacks), R&B Tea (Boba), and Sweetbox (Viet Desserts and Drinks). They're open for takeout, delivery, and dine-in. Dog-friendly outdoor seating. O R D E R I N GContactless ordering via kiosks (4-5). Even though the main screen says "R&B Tea", you can order from A-Sha Corner and Sweetbox on the same kiosk. They'll call your order # on the intercom when your order is ready for pickup. A - S H A C O R N E RA-Sha Corner serves Viet and AZN Street Food/Snacks: Balut, chicken feet, Korean rice dogs, fried rice flour cakes, popcorn chicken, wings, fries, "menudo", rice plates (gà roti, bò lúc lắc), noodles, etc. Everything is under $17. F O O D* Phá Lấu Bánh Mì: Viet Menudo w/ baguette ($9.90): https://tinyurl.com/y69ahcdp--Also available w/ egg noodles, instant ramen noodles, or riceI love menudo and mondongo so was excited to try Phá Lấu, the Viet version for the first time. The Phá Lấu stew contains an array of pork and beef offal: beef tongue, beef book tripe, and pork small+large intestines in a five-spice curry broth. The broth was creamy, savory and lightly spicy with a touch of sweetness (coconut water) and peppery bite (rau răm, Viet coriander). The offal was tender but could have been softer. It's served with two dipping sauces: sa tế (spicy and flavorful) and a sweet chili sauce. The accompanying baguette was stale and not toasted. They have a toaster oven so not sure why the baguette wasn't toasted. The Phá Lấu was good and I would order it again but it's more an offal stew than a menudo/mondongo that's entirely tripe with the occasional pata.S E R V I C EVisited Saturday when they opened. With no line for any of the kiosks, my order was ready in 10 minutes. A M B I A N C EFun, hip, and vibrant with ample seating inside and outside for over 70 people. P A R K I N GLot and garage parking. The plaza is hella chaotic on the weekends.Overall, while we only tried one thing at A-Sha Corner (wanted to try another resto at Vietnam Town), it was enjoyable and I can see myself visiting the food hall more often if I didn't live an hour away. The vibe seems more like a community gathering place than just a food hall which was cool. If you're looking for Viet Street Food/Snacks in a fun, lively atmosphere (without the cigarette smoke), A-Sha Corner is worth a visit if you're in the E Man Jose area.

Terrible service. It seems people standing in front waiting is not enough to get one of the three folks in the back to take my order. At the least put a self service kiosk if you don't want to deal with folks. I was willing to let this go but the food was so average that this place deserves 2 stars. There was nothing spicy about the popcorn chicken but I had no interest in standing there waiting to ask them for some spicy seasoning. The cheese dog was nothing special either.

Asha Corner is one of three stores in this "mini" building. It's a restaurant selling Vietnamese food/snacks while the other two sells drinks and Vietnamese desserts. They have many delicious Vietnamese snacks like rice paper salad, flour pancake (or rice cake) with eggs, spicy bread, etc. Rice paper salad is good but too pricey for the portion. I love their spicy bread. It's different from the one I make at home but delicious in a different way. Fried rice cake is yummy, not oily but the dipping sauce is a little bit salty. They should improve on the dipping sauce for Rice cake.In this "mini" building, they have 4 self-checkout kiosks. You can order food, drinks, and dessert from all 3 stores in 1 transaction from the kiosk. They'll call your name and order number and which store for pickup once it's done. You can also order directly from the restaurant directly as well. I like self-checkout so I always use the kiosk.Don't interact with the employees much so can't comment on their customer service. They don't seem to be too friendly (typically Vietnamese service). I did ask for extra sauce and they gave it to me so it's okay, I guess. As for ambiance, it's a casual place to hangout with your friends and family. They have indoor and outdoor seating. In the summer, it's nice to sit outside. Music can be loud though. I wish they don't have the sound so low.

Another bad experience.Waited 25 min for my order, only to find out that it was not ready.5min later, a customer arrived. Apparently, my order was given to him. The staff wanted to give it to me, after someone already had it for 25min and touched it!Though he said he will make a new one, still a very bad experience!!! I've never had a decent experience at Asha. 2nd chance, they failed miserably once again.Never again.

Placed an online order since i was randomly craving some banh trang tron. The nuoc mia is good, love the kumquat and sugarcane combo always. The banh trang tron was a lil lackluster for the price ($12?). I think they may have forgotten the tamarind sauce because it was kinda plain, i had to squeeze in some lemon at home to mix everything together. I've had their pha lau before and it was decent. Overall, if I'm seriously craving then maybe I'll settle here.

I've been coming to this place since they first open almost every weekend and enjoyed their drinks and food. Its very crowded especially on weekends nights. We almost get the usual stuffs every times but last 2 times noticed their food taste not as good as before and they no longer serve the shrimps noodles and shaken beef noodles which is a bummer because that's what's we always get and its really good. So last weekend we stop by on our way to leave out of town we ordered couple drinks ,the fried chicken with tamarind sauce and fried chicken with rice got the food and go back to the car and eat with the kids since it's busy and no seat inside. And from here it just goes down hill -first my husband notice the 5 pieces chicken the 5 piece is just the end cut of a wing no meat just bone and skin so we feel kinda ripped off by it. Then while my kids shared their chicken and rice I took the soup and take a sip I then noticed something black floating in my soup I first thought it was a piece of burn onion so I went out to the light to check its a baby cockroach!! Ewww I feel yuck cause I just took a sịp. That's 2 strikes already but I didn't want to go back in to let them know cause I was leaving town didnt want to waste my time. But then my kids hand me their food I notice they still have a lot left I took a spoon of rice then when I was picking up the pickle cabbage I saw a big cockroach that was still moving it legs when I touch it I spit out my rice. Anyways so this time I can't not let it go I have to go inside to let them know so hopefully they will be more careful serving and clean up their kitchen. I probably won't go back anytime soon though.
