We literally followed our noses through the Hayward farmer's market to this place, it was that tantalizing. His prices here are extremely reasonable (or maybe I'm just used to overpriced bbq now). We got the two meat combo with ribs and brisket, and they were really generous for a lunch portion. While we were waiting he caught us eyeing his sauces and told us he tries to sell a different sauce each week, so if you find one you like buy it then! I'll gladly try out all the sauces he was describing, they sounded really unique. I'm super picky about BBQ sauce and find most too sweet or too mustardy or too vinegary. Nobody will beat my Everett & Jones. That said, I thought his orange spice and teriyaki bbq were delicious. The orange spice starts a little sweet but there's a really nice kick at the end. The brisket was perfectly juicy as soon as they served it, but we saved the rest while we ran through the farmer's market and it was pretty dry by the time we got home. So lesson learned, eat asap. The ribs were fantastic, with a little char on the outside. I don't see that too often but as the person who likes her hot dogs burnt, I was a huge fan of it.We'll be back!

I've been here twice now and both times were great. I've had the ribs twice and a pulled pork sandwich. The ribs were outstanding both times. Pulled pork sandwich is everything you'd want from a pulled pork sandwich. The bbq sauce is good and tangy; more so than sweet (which i like better). They also have like 10 other sauces you can try. I've pretty much tried them all, but I think my favorite is the original bbq.* take last statement with a grain of salt, i only had the sauces with bread and not actual bbq.If you live around here or are in the area for the farmers market, definitely check it out.Only bad thing: they use instant mix for the lemonade and don't mix it too proportionately so its watery.

Got some chicken kabobs from them at the farmers market, they looked pink/orangish and even the guy serving them (same as in the pictures) had trouble picking out the right ones to give me and kept inspecting them. Should've known something was wrong. Came home, ate half of one and noticed how pink/raw it was inside, and immediately got a stomach ache, threw away the rest. Next time thoroughly cook your chicken. Not coming here again.

Don't get me wrong good BBQ, but NO customer service. Last Hayward Street party I ordered a 2 meat plate. Looked kind of small so I asked if that was my order, they told me yes.I got home and my 2 meat plate was 1/2 of a link and maybe 5 or 6 pieces of brisket. Not a $12 plate. I have eaten there every street part for the last 2 years. so I know what I should be getting. This was not it.If they would have replied to my 2 e-mails I would not be leaving this negative review

I had just a taste of Arnoldsauce bbq sauce, and before I know it, I was pouring it over everything, even my fried rice! Yes, it's that good....

I decided to cater my wife's birthday, and we chose BBQ. Then we found Arnold's Catering through a friend. What a great find! We had the chicken, beef and links, and the crowd was impressed. Even a neighbor who is a private chef for Silicon Valley types had good words to say (he never has good words to say about other people's cooking.)Given that wonderful experience, I am thinking of trying their smoked Thanksgiving turkey instead of wasting our own time cooking a bird. We never get it right and I bet they will.
