As soon as we opened the door, we were welcomed with a friendly smile :) The gentleman seated us immediately and took our drink order. Once we ordered our rolls, the wait was a little long. They were pretty busy. However, the food was delicious!! It was worth the wait. Since it was my first time, I would've liked to try more rolls, but since it was busy and took a while, I opted not to order more. The flavors are so unique and savory, it's definitely tasty. I will have to come back during the week when it's less busy. They have plenty of seating but not many people working.

Hate to write this review but if you are looking for good sushi, this isn't it. Located in a strip mall close to the shopping mall, it's a close enough spot to try to grab sushi before going to the movies. I got the nigiri dinner with 10 pieces of nigiri and a spicy tuna roll. When they brought out my plate, I felt like it smelled. It was a fishy smell that kind of turned me off to my dinner. Since I was hungry, I ate my entree. The fish was very mediocre. I felt like it was lacking quality. The spicy tuna roll was decent though. So maybe this spot is ok if you are one of those people that orders decadent rolls. Some of the glassware didn't feel clean. One of our beer glasses they brought out had a lipstick stain. Service was only ok but it could have been they were busy. Beer and sake was good though. But, how can alcohol ever be bad? Extra points for serving beer in a pitcher, though.Overall, even for strip mall sushi, this place is pretty bad. I would try to find another spot.

Ariake Sushi is a hidden gem! The sushi was fresh, and the menu offered a wide variety of creative rolls alongside classic favorites. The staff were friendly, attentive, and quick to accommodate any requests. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere, they have pictures of customers that they hang on the walls which makes it very sweet, I'd say it's perfect for both casual lunch/dinner.

This small restaurant is tucked into a strip mall, and you almost have to know that it is there if you want to try it. In fact, my husband and I drive by all the time and finally decided to go last week. The host and server were friendly, and our food arrived quickly. It was fresh and delicious!! The menu is extensive. We had such a great meal we went back within a week and the second visit was equally great. Now it will be our go-to sushi place, right up the and so convenient!

Ariake Sushi has a spacious setting and incredibly friendly staff, making each visit a pleasure. The deep fried tuna roll and lion king roll are personal favorites, while the chicken teriyaki rolls offer a delicious option for non-seafood lovers. The generous sushi sizes set this place apart, easily earning it four stars in my book.

Togo waiter made me wait extra 20 minutes because I didn't leave him a tip. Food was ready for pickup but he likes to play that game. I didn't know picking up food togo requires tipping. I don't mind waiting 20 minutes but a negative review will last forever. It appears owner hires unqualified individual for cheap labor to help business grow. It looks like it didn't work because there are more 1 star on Yelp than 5. Yikes. My karage chicken is gross. Please refer to the photo and tell me if that looks like little burnt nuggets. Gross! I truly believe in helping our local business thrive by giving my honest opinion on the experience. My opinions are based on an average guideline according to taste, smell, presentation, and quality. Along with that, cleanliness and friendliness is a bonus.

One of the best sushi places I've ever been to!! The sushi is always high quality and the portions are big. I've tried bentos, rolls, and more from this place and it has always been amazon and affordable. Although sometimes the wait for the food is long, especially when you order takeout, I always have a good time!! Plus, our waiter, James, always makes sure we have a good experience.

We came on a Friday at 4 pm and it was empty, as expected. They have plenty of tables and seating inside, and a sushi boat but it wasn't working when we came. It has a casual feel with Tv's, sports flags, and lots of Polaroid pictures on the wall. The food definitely exceeded our expectations in terms of quality and quantity. Their portions are huge! Definitely get your bang for your buck. They were prompt about refilling our water and brought everything out quickly.Miso soup: 4/5 good flavor, on the saltier sideBento box w salmon and tempura: 5/5 tempura was fresh and crunchy, salmon was tender and flavorful, and California rolls are enormous! Caterphilla roll: 5/5 one of the best rolls I've ever had. Unagi and avocado are so fresh and the portions are huge!Crazy salmon roll: 3/5 the salmon on top of the roll was really good (raw), but the cooked salmon inside the roll was dry and not appetizing. Could do without the lemon garnish on top.I will be back to try their nigiri and more rolls. Overall, I would recommend Ariake sushi if you're in the area and craving sushi/ Japanese food.

3.5 stars for Ariake Sushi on Blossom Hill across the street from IHop/Black Angus. Ariake is a big open space with a sushi boat counter in the middle of the restaurant. The menu has a wide assortment of items, including lots of sushi rolls. This would be a good place for gatherings, as there are plenty of options for everyone in your party, including the adventurous rolls as well as those who are more finicky. I appreciated how there was plenty of space between tables. I don't remember if it was spaced out like that pre-COVID or not. I remember eating there many, many years ago. I don't remember if there was a particular reason why I stopped, but I only just started again recently. A group of five of us went to Ariake to celebrate a co-worker's birthday. I got a Pancho Roll & sake (salmon) nigiri. The birthday girl got a Crab Lover's Roll, another person ordered a Golden Poke Roll & Unagi Maki, one person got a deluxe bento w/chicken teriyaki, tempura, & CA Roll, and the last co-worker asked the kitchen to make her some plain grilled chicken and rice. Everyone enjoyed their food. On another occasion, I called in an order to go and picked up the food on my way to a lunch meeting. I called at 12:30 and was told my order would be ready in 20 minutes. I timed my arrival with the 12:50 pick-up time but unfortunately, I had to wait for an additional 15-minutes before my food was ready. That delay was disappointing. I much prefer when restaurants provide an accurate estimate, even if it seems like a long time. For this to-go order, we had a deluxe bento w/beef teriyaki, tempura, & salmon teriyaki. My coworker said the salmon was way overcooked and didn't taste right. She ended up throwing the salmon away. That was a bummer. I had sake nigiri and a Pancho Roll, which had shrimp tempura, crab, avocado, & tobiko. So far, my recent visits to Ariake Sushi have been inconsistent. Most of the food has been good, but potentially spoiled salmon and not having food ready when promised makes me think that's why I may have stopped going to Ariake years ago. If someone specifically asks to go there, I'd go, but I wouldn't specially choose to go there myself.
