Andaman Thai

I stopped by during lunchtime on a Friday with a friend. We were craving some Thai food and wanted to try a place other than our usual spots so we came here. It was really warmly decorated inside and was pretty busy and lively. The staff here were super nice and attentive and made our experience really enjoyable.My friend and I started our meal with the curry puffs. They came with a really yummy dipping sauce and the puffs themselves were hot and delicious. I loved them, but I wish that they came with more than just three, especially for the price. I ordered a pad see ew with chicken and my friend ordered a fried rice. I snuck some bites of the fried rice and thought it had great flavor! I would not have minded ordering it for myself. However, I am a pad see ew person through and through. I was super happy with my pad see ew. It was flavorful and cooked well and my portion was filling. For drinks, I ordered a thai tea and my friend ordered a lychee ice tea. Both drinks were yummy!Overall, this place was nice! The people are kind and the food did not disappoint. I loved everything I tried so I'd totally want to come back and order some different dishes next time!

The customer service was great and did not have to wait long for a table!Thought the food was good: Chicken satay and pad see eew were my favorite things (4/5). Also ordered the papaya salad which was fresh but thought there was too much Thai dressing for my liking (3.5/5). Overall solid restaurant!

-waited 20-30 minutes for a table for 3 on a Wednesday evening at 6, they were incredibly busy. It was very crowded and loud inside. There was a waitlist forming at the time and only several tables. -service was nice though our order got mistaken twice. The first time they gave us two dishes that weren't even what we had ordered (and we had ordered while we were on the waitlist), and the second time they gave us the bill without giving us the dessert that we had ordered, which we waited for over 30 minutes to come out and it still didn't so we asked to just take the bill instead of waiting. Then the dessert came out with the bill, so we just ended up paying the full, and we didn't enjoy the dish as it had unripened mango, and the presentation was lacking in comparison to previous times we've ordered this. -the food was good and flavorful, we enjoyed all the dishes we ordered and the portion was decent/shareable. I believe that this place is popular amongst locals for a good reason. However, the seafood hot plate did not have many pieces of seafood and was not worth its price, though most other dishes I feel were priced reasonably. -Overall it is a nice establishment. I've been here several times in the past as well as their other location in Walnut Creek, though the dining experience today was unexpectedly bad and would discourage me from coming back.

Andaman Thai in San Ramon is an absolute delight! This small and unique spot offers an intimate dining experience with a lovely outdoor patio that's perfect for enjoying a meal al fresco. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it feel like a hidden gem.The service was outstanding - friendly, and genuinely welcoming. The staff made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive.And the food? Incredible! Every dish was bursting with authentic Thai flavors, beautifully presented, and perfectly cooked. The Tom Kha and Pad Thai were standouts, but honestly, everything we tried was excellent.If you're looking for delicious Thai food with great service and a charming ambiance, Andaman Thai is the place to go.Highly recommend!

This is our go to spot for Thai food. We enjoy their beef panang and have to say they have the best one. The meet is tender like a stew when most places use strips of beef. The panang curry is flavorful and we also get it mild spice but still has a good kick. Their chicken pad Thai is really good too. I also enjoy their pumpkin curry. I always order the lychee ice tea also. A bit sweet but it's refreshing. The workers are super nice and friendly and always smile. Parking is not too bad since there is a small lot in front and a bigger lot in the back. This location also has a patio area for nice nights if you want to sit outside.

Came here for a birthday dinner. We ordered the pineapple fried rice, pad thai, pumpkin curry, Thai iced coffee, and the mango sticky rice. Everything here was so good and I will definitely be coming back!

Honestly, the best Thai spot in town. This place never disappoints. We ordered the green curry lunch special (Thai spicy), mango salad, and pad Thai - all were incredibly flavorful and hit the spot! My little one had their vanilla ice cream for dessert :)

First time going to Andaman Thai. I went with 3 other friends on a Saturday night. My table was immediately seated. It was at 70% capacity when I went. We were able to order right away and the food took 15 minutes to come out. I got the pad Thai and was not disappointed. I think they did a great job preparing it to my liking. The pineapple fried rice was also decent and served in a half cut pineapple. The restaurant is clean. Plenty of parking around. I'd come again!

This spot has such great customer service! I found the food to be ok/good, but thats about it. The coconut rice was my favorite thing. The tofu and veggie dishes we got were a bit bland for my palate. Overall, it was a nice experience but nothing memorable other than the company I was in.
