Ah, AM Craft Coffee... it's not just a coffee shop--it's a bastion, a sanctuary, a beacon in the storm of mass-produced, soulless caffeine swill that's flooding the market like an unchecked river of mediocrity. You don't just drink coffee at AM Craft--you experience it. It's a journey, a rite of passage, a metaphysical handshake between you and the carefully curated beans that Michael and Ashlee, the caffeinated alchemists of this establishment, have painstakingly selected. You walk in, and it's not just about ordering a drink--it's about becoming part of something greater. The air is thick with the aroma of expertly pulled espresso, mingling with the quiet hum of conversation. And that's the thing--this isn't some sterile, transactional caffeine pit stop. No, this is a community, a living, breathing ecosystem where regulars become friends, baristas become guides, and every sip of a cortado carries the weight of a thousand careful choices.Because coffee isn't just coffee--it's life, it's connection, it's a dance of heat and time and pressure that results in something transcendent. And AM Craft? It's the last stand against the fast-foodification of the art form. A place where every cup is a declaration of defiance against the forces that would turn coffee into an afterthought. You don't just grab a latte here--you sit down, you absorb the atmosphere, you let the handcrafted magic rewire your brain until you, too, understand the truth: coffee isn't just a drink. It's everything.

AM Craft is a cute little spot. They have some unique latte flavors, which I always appreciate. The staff were really nice, too. The only downsides are that the parking lot at the little shopping area has very few spots (and a very steep ramp that'll cause your car to bottom out), and the shopping area is kind of rundown.Their shop is pretty nice, given the surroundings, though.Definitely give one of their fancy latte flavors a try. They are pretty good.

Good spot for folx who like creamy lattes. I've had a few of their drinks over the years and my top recommendation is the Toasted Marshmallow for a latte. I appreciate that their drinks are not overly sweet; they are just a little too creamy for my taste. Service: Staff is friendly, and service is quick.Ambiance: The café is on the smaller side but has a bar area, indoor seating, and some outdoor seating. There is plenty of natural light inside and is minimally decorated with warm tones.

Discovered this cute little cafe in downtown SJ during a gap and it was a pleasant experience! The interior gives off a minimal/clean aesthetic while actually being tidy and wiped down. There is minimal seating inside and outside. A menu is posted outside, but you'll find another copy inside along with free water. For those dining in, there is a small cart to leave your used glasses and plates/trays.There was a large group ahead of me, but the actual time it took for my drink to be made was fairly short :DDRINK:*Matcha latte (hot) -- I am most definitely coming back to order this because the quality and price are by far the best I've ever had! With the matcha craze these days, I appreciate a cozy shop like this that won't make you break your break for a sweet treat or energy boost. You can choose between whole milk and oat milk (I went w/ whole). Despite not being asked about sweetness adjustments, it was perfectly "not too sweet" while maintaining a satisfyingly potent matcha flavor. I'm not exactly sure how to describe it, but it tastes more like matcha offered in European cafe's rather than Japanese matcha dessert places. Either way, it was delicious and my cousin kept wanting to take some sips of this latte after we left XDThe latte art and creamy foam on the surface was such a lovely surprise too! Comparable to La Lune Sucree's which is also in downtown SJ, but this is now my new local favorite.PARKING:Customers can find residential parking and walk or meter parking. My drink was made pretty quickly, so this is a great spot for grab and go!

Updating my review to 5 stars after seeing Michael's response. :) I think that's a great idea. Maybe I'll come bring a book next time.

Quaint coffee shop located steps away from SJSU. With 4 bar seats + 3 small tables inside, a handful of tables outside and NO WiFi, it most likely is a cafe you'll pick up coffee from rather than lounge with friends or study at. There's 30 min street parking right in front of the shop and free private parking lot behind the laundromat. I tried the toasted marshmallow latte with oatmilk & it came out to $5.75 - "cheaper" than many cafes. The quality was pretty good. I'd probably be back to try more of their menu

i saw this spot right next to the back a yard and decided to check it out.I was actually planning to check out voyager after picking up some goat curry next door. order the toasted marshmallow latte and also got a bag of gesha beans. no need for voyager now. the latte was very good. should have ask for double shot. total was ~30. not sure if they charge tax. i think the beans are 22 or 24 can't remember and the latte must be 5 something. perhaps next time i come by to get my goat curry I will try the drip flight. funny i would check out coffee shops every time I travel but don't have the time to check out the local ones... crema, voyager, chromatic on the todo list..

What a cute little coffee shop. It was nice to see they had some seasonal drinks. Definitely a place for college students to study and grab a quick cup of coffee. We were lucky to get parking on the street. I ordered a toasted marshmallow late and it came out quick. Definitely comforting and smooth. I'm not that into those acidic notes of coffee so this was nice. Definitely will be coming back if we are in the area.

I got an espresso and a cortado. The espresso didn't look as dark as I was expecting and didn't have crema but it wasn't bitter or burnt. The cortado was well balanced. Based on the other photos I might give it another try if I'm in the area.
