Adrestia's ambiance and service set a high bar from the moment you walk in. The modern decor and welcoming staff create a great first impression. I ordered the Wagyu Burger, which I had high hopes for. While the toppings were fantastic--crispy bacon, a perfectly cooked egg, and creamy avocado adding a nice richness--the patty itself fell short. I was expecting a tender, flavorful wagyu patty, but the meat was disappointingly tough and lacked the depth of flavor I was hoping for. It wasn't a bad burger, just not the standout I anticipated. On the bright side, the French fries were a highlight. I ordered them crispy, and they arrived perfectly golden with a satisfying crunch. They paired wonderfully with the burger and helped elevate the meal.

I had breakfast here for five consecutive days and was very satisfied. The restaurant is located in the lobby of the Tetra Hotel. During our visit, there were very few people, creating a great dining environment. The service staff were warm and attentive. Over the five days, we tried different breakfast dishes, and each one was excellent. Both the presentation and taste were outstanding.

Great food!! The wagyu burger is amazing. Perfectly cooked, high quality meat, soft delicious bun, solid bacon, can't ask for more!Mixed green salad was super fresh and dressing was very light yet tasty. The empanada was also very good, meat inside cooked to medium, which was a nice touch. It's a bit pricy for the amount of food you get but oh well. Service was decent, polite but not super knowledgeable (she called the chimichurri sauce "salsa verde" ) and a bit slow. Ambiance is ok, it's in a hotel lobby so it's only going to be so great, but it's a nice set up and nice decor.

3 stars instead of 4 based upon service. Waitress was aloof and disinterested. Asked what I wanted to drink and I said coffee and water. Coffee came but no water. Didn't see her again for awhile. Had to flag down someone else. When ordering food, she asked if I wanted butter and jelly with the croissant. I said sure, why not. Breakfast came and with butter but no jelly. Restaurant was not busy so I can't explain the poor service.Food was good but not great. Potatoes were the highlight.Would only eat here again in a pinch or for convenience.

Had a staycation at the hotel and was excited to try the restaurant on site. We came for dinner time. It wasn't that packed but it's a pretty dim setting- although I liked the high ceilings.I'm giving 4 stars for service and 3.5 stars for food overall.I did have to flag waitress a few times but for the most part staff was attentive. They are great about refilling water.Food wasn't bad but just a little personal preferences that weren't met.Scallops were the best dish in my opinion. I liked all the textures and flavor.Burrata wasn't bad but the toast felt too "bready" and a little dry. I've had burrata at several different places and just felt could be paired with a different type of bread. However the tomato salad they served with was a hidden boost of flavor. I could probably order that alone.Waygu burger. I ordered medium rare and it was pretty done and not juicy at all. The bottom bun was soggy so I ended up just using fork and knife. Also patty was pretty thick. Fries were plentiful and crispy.Steak was really good and cooked perfectly. The smashed potato crisps were an interesting concept. It was soft but crispy and seasoned just right .The drinks I was a little disappointed. The taste was there but the amount of ice didn't feel like I had enough drink for the price point.

Came here for a girl's dinner and loved the vibes of the restaurant, although food fell a little short, with some tasty dishes but also some subpar dishes as well. Located in a hotel, central to the tech neighborhood - it was bustling outside, although a little quiet and empty inside the restaurant. Albeit my friend & I did set for an earlier dinner (around 5pm) which was prob. why it was a bit more quiet. The interior was very nice - modern with some rustic touches, and menu overall seemed to encompass new American fare. Service was fine, overall quick but nothing out of the ordinary - we kind of knew what we wanted to order so no recommendations were really given or needed. Let's Dig In:(1) Little Gem Salad - fair overall, nothing unique or special from what I remember but def. lacking something. (2) Lobster Sando - was super excited for this, but it was actually very underwhelming. Sadly came out to us lukewarm, while the flavor was very monotonous (just tasted like Sriracha mayo) and couldn't really taste the lobster at all. (3) Cornbread - this was super tastyyy! Cornbread came out nice and warm, also loved the house butters on the side which added a bit more salt & creaminess to it. (4) Steak - sadly overcooked and slightly tough as well, flavor was OK nothing special while the plating did look a bit sad. The mashed potato and spinach sides were unmemorable. (5) Branzino - this was pretty good, the fish had a super crispy skin and we liked that it was filleted for us so we didn't have to pick around the bones. The salad on top was refreshing, and sauce was nice and light. (6) Chai Panna Cotta - this was OK, it was very tasty in the beginning but did start to get a bit too sweet after the first few bites. The chai flavor was nice and strong though, which we loved.

I know the reviews aren't the best so I was a little nervous heading in - but honestly it really wasn't that bad. The dishes were all pretty good and I've recommended this spot to my friends as well. FOOD: - Appetizers: cornbread (pretty filling, good value if you don't want to spend a lot), lobster sando (a little too salty for my taste but it was still worth trying!)- Main: I actually liked the main entrees more than the appetizers! Favorite was the lamb chop - I usually don't like lamb for the gamey taste but I didn't get that at all. My parents liked this the most too. SERVICE:- We got our food pretty quickly and I had no problems like the other reviewers noted. If you're not sure about coming here, I'd say to just go and make your own judgement! INSIDE: The space was inside the lobby of the Tetra Hotel. Really modern and cool space. There was a parking garage and you can get your ticket validated with a sticker - just ask your server for the sticker. I'd recommend this spot for any date nights, birthday dinners, or any special occasions!

The restaurant is inside the Tetra Hotel. Breakfast was included with our hotel stay. We had a choice between the Continental Breakfast or the Fundamental Breakfast. I went with the latter- two eggs, chicken apple sausage or bacon, potatoes, and toasted bread. The meal was quite simple, but it was filling and everything was pretty good. I preferred my bf's bacon over the sausage though. My favorite were the crispy potatoes. Service was quick and efficient.

This stunning restaurant is inside the Tetra Hotel in Sunnyvale. Decor, music, tableware is all beautiful. It's striking when you walk in and compliments the modern, luxurious hotel well. Unfortunately, the experience doesn't match the initial appeal. The service is completely lacking. Staff members are slow, don't know their own menu (reading from the menu over my shoulder verbatim when asked a question), and they are forgetful and uncoordinated. One busser with dark short hair and medium tan skin seemed to be the only saving grace - she was professional, well spoken, and watching timing well. The server (male) with curly dark hair, tan skin, was a complete mess and seemed to be the main server that night! The hamachi crudo was okay. Beautifully presented by not as fresh as I'd hope. Good sour and sweet flavors though. But there was something chewy-crunchy (similar to popcorn) that just didn't fit.I ordered the eggplant manicotti but they brought me the mushroom cavatelli instead. Such a shame after waiting 30 mins for my entree. I was starving and ready for bed by this point. It looked lovely but I couldn't handle a pasta that evening. When my dish finally arrived it was lack-luster. Super disappointed. Absolutely ridiculous given the price you pay here. I even mentioned the issues to the server and he fumbled and didn't know how to resolve it. I hope this restaurant revisits it's training, tests food quality, and starts to inspect the actual experience more.

My partner and I decided to celebrate Valentine's Day at Adrestia for the first time, and we had a lovely evening overall. They offered a pre-fixed menu with wine pairings, which was a great touch. My partner, who's a fan of wine, was very pleased with all the selections. As for me, I'm more of a foodie, so I was excited to dive into the dishes. The Dungeness crab was a bit unfortunate in portion size--I wish there was more. The tofu appetizer was decent, maybe a 7/10, but the real highlight for me was the steak. It was absolutely delicious, and the full-bodied red wine pairing was spot on.The strawberry beignets were the perfect sweet end to the meal, and they were a favorite for both me and my partner. Our server, Jazmine, was friendly and attentive, and everything was well-timed. The gentlemen pouring the wine were also very knowledgeable and explained each wine pairing in detail. Jazmine also mentioned a small vendor event happening on March 7th, along with live music, which has already given us the perfect excuse to come back and try their regular menu.We had a great time and will definitely be returning!
