A Romo's Cafe

First time at this spot, a lot of people seem to order their sandwiches. Have to swing by to see why! Cafe De Olla = 5/5 (try it its different!) Iced Mocha = 3/5 ( different style chocolate smoother and light if thats your vibe.)Complimentary Free chia pudding = 5/5 (Perfect crunch and coconut goodness)Overall very chill, very FRIENDLY great outdoor seating, tight parking but theres also a Mexican market next door which was fun to check out!

Drinks, service, and ambiance: all amazing! Went in the morning, steady flow of customers and lots of space to accommodate. * Small chai latte with oat milk: 5/5! Creamy, gentle, and delicious.* Large Cafe de Olla: 5/5 just not my taste. Cinnamon-y, sugary, aromatic. Both drinks were sweetened.* Avocado toast: 4/5 bread was good, not the best but certainly not the worst.* El Despiricio sandwich (cheddar): 5/5 flavorful, with a dab of Cholula

Okay, I was a little skeptical when I was passing the place outside because it is so tiny. Once inside you will see keepsakes from several Latinx cultures adorning the walls, and a subtle modern cafe hidden away. You will be greeted by the sweetest little old lady waiting to take your order. While this place is a little bit pricey, (especially for Northern Hayward) it is worth it. Treat yourself to a delicious sandwich and or coffee drink. I ordered an egg sandwich with sausage, and a mocha. I waited about 10 minutes and took everything to go. I was more than pleasantly surprised by both the hint of lime in the sandwich and the real cocoa in the mocha. This place is better than most posh downtown Oakland cafes and I would suggest it to anyone looking for a splurge treat. If it were just a bit cheaper I would go here every week. It's really that good. One note if you like your bread more heavily toasted say so when ordering.

It has been my first time to this coffee place and my expectations were higher than expected. Love this place. Customer service was wonderful. Ladies are so nice. This place was amazing. The food was tasty. The latte coffees were great, wonderful experience. I really recommend this place.Es la primera vez que voy a este lugar algo escondido, pero fue una experiencia grandiosa. This is an amazing local cafe that has a a welcoming family atmosphere. The aunties who took my order were so kind and even helped me pick out my order. I got the Chipotle (Chicken) Sandwich with swiss cheese and a smoothie which was absolutely delicious. Their blueberry, strawberry and banana smoothie is one of my favorites and I will make sure to definitely go back for it.

An adorable and quaint spot to lounge at with loved ones ~ Pakring was a bit tight but luckily we got a spot. The seating in the back has such a nice and homey feel. We got sandwiches and a yogurt with chia seeds. It tasted decent and not anythingnin particular to write home about. Come for the ambiance and vibes. The food, not so much.

Romo's Cafe is one of my favorite spots in Hayward. Walking into this cafe feels like stepping into my grandmother's kitchen. The staff at Romo's are always incredibly accommodating and welcoming. The cafe offers a wide variety of delicious homemade food options, and we're never disappointed with our choices. The coffee and smoothie options are excellent complements to any meal. This time, I opted for the chia bowl and a strawberry smoothie, which were perfect for combating the day's heat. The cafe has limited indoor seating but boasts a large outdoor space in the back with plenty of seating. Romo's s adorned with unique and neat decorations that reflect Latin culture, adding a homely feel to the place. I highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking to relax with a delicious cup of coffee or enjoy a tasty bite to eat.

Love this place so much the best family own business! The service is amazing, they are so sweet and welcoming. The food and coffee is delicious better than Starbucks. I recommend getting the chipotle sandwich with extra chipotle sauce which is my favorite part of it. This is my mom and I favorite go to spot!

I was in the Bay Area visiting family. I wanted something light for breakfast & found this GEM, the reviews were right!The staff were very helpful & welcoming, every customer that walked in was greeted. I had a caramel latte which was yum & chia bowl with berries. The chia bowl was light & fresh, the chia pudding is made in house & the granola is so good & also made in house. I liked the granola so much that I asked if I could purchase some but the owner said it's not for sale, however she was soooo sweet/generous to gifted me a small container of granola & she didn't allow me to pay for it. Great place!!!!

Food was very good. We had the crepes, chipotle chicken and cobb salad. Vietnamese ice coffee and Cafe de olla were very good too. Dogs are allowed so we could sit with our dog at the outdoor closed setting. Service was great and staff was super friendly and welcoming.
