My husband and I stopped by A Plus HK Style Cafe for a late lunch, which happened to coincide with the Cafe's happy hour (2:30pm to 12am). The happy hour selection is large, and items come with your choice of a hot milk tea, coffee, or lemon tea. Between the two of us, we ordered the mini baked pork chop with rice and the pork cutlet special HH specials, as well as the XO sauce pan fried crepe roll (regular, since we didn't need/want another drink).Everything arrived really quickly and was hot and fresh! The XO pan fried crepe roll was definitely our favorite dish - super flavorful with excellent wok hay. The pork cutlet sandwich reminded us of a fancy McChicken, in a good way, with the mayo and shredded lettuce combination. And of course, the baked pork chop rice was a classic. The bone was a little difficult to maneuver with the plastic utensils, but we managed. We really enjoyed our quick stop here and would recommend stopping by, especially during their lengthy happy hour to make the most of their deals!

The good: happy hour foods are a pretty good deal. The sauce in the Baked Pork Chop over rice is decent. There was no when I went on a Sunday night. However, if you had the chance to try HK style breakfast/ coffee shop foods in Hong Kong, you'll know that this place could do a lot better to improve. However, the options for this cuisine in the Bay Area are pretty limited, so I'll probably be back.

Really enjoyed their Indonesian curry, which tastes different than all the other curries I'm used to (Chinese, Thai, Indian, and Japanese). It tastes different, its creamier, and has a nice kick.Their wet beef noodles was also good and had good "wok hay" (stir fried well with high heat).Interesting that everything is served in to-go containers and plastic utensils, but less work for them! Will definitely be back. Love all the true Cantonese dishes.

Was looking for a quick dinner in the area near Hilton and spotted a pretty crowded HK cafe amongst an empty plaza. Food was pretty decent, but also not outstanding. They had nice prices and happy hour until midnight. Their signature black pepper dishes had a good level of spicy, but was otherwise a bit too salty. I would say their best item I had was actually the cream soup, but it didn't seem to have been fully mixed? A decent place overall if you'd want a quick HK cafe joint that opens late.

Food in is ok for the most part. Baked pork chop rice is a must-have item.Everything is disposable. I suppose they wouldn't need to wash dishes.Milk tea is not hot enough. 1 star deducted! Not a bad choice is you are in the area and are craving for HK cafe food.

Cash only. They open late and the light portion menu (tea time to late night snack) is available from 2:30pn to midnight, making a light meal more available, which is great! We have not been here for a few years, the food still tastes the same, we only noticed the difference that there are no more plates or bowls, everything is in either a plastic container or a aluminum tin foil box so it seems to save the dish washing and making packing left over much easier. Service is the usual as in any Chinese restaurants, they come take your order, bring your food and that's it. No new updates on the decoration since their grand opening either. Ordered the sizzling plate of eggplant and beef with e-noodle, but there's no sizzling plates, the food came in a black plastic box. Although the beef is not too grade but the portion is good and the amount of beef is generous. I enjoyed my meal. The curry beef brisket and tendon also looks good and it has a good mix of tendon and briskets. Glad that this place still holds its quality after all these years with reasonable prices.

The staff there is efficient, quick and friendly even it's always busy. Even you only order happy hour menu items, they do not act differently.Food is tasty, A+ is one of our favorites amongst all the HK style cafes. We got baked fish white sauce with rice, and baked pork chop rice. Both were delicious.Always come by when we are in this vicinity.

Swung by after a super late night of being in the South Bay and we had to stop by one of my favorite Hong Kong style diners.Wednesday night was pretty packed but they were able to service us really fast. We got the typical xo sauce crepe noodle and some hot lemon tea to just relax. Overall a great spot for some cheap eats and some good feel vibes at a plus hk style cafe!

As someone whose family is from HK, a cafe is somewhere I would go to if I'm craving a comforting meal... and that's exactly what this place served. The staff was super nice and accommodating; our waiter moved us to a booth, so my boyfriend wouldn't be facing the harsh sun. The inside of the cafe was also clean and spacious enough. THE BAKED RICE WAS GOOD. My only complaint is that my pork chop was 40-50% bone :( my boyfriends was maybe 25% bone, so maybe I had bad luck. If you like your baked rice super saucy, this is the place for you :)

Got the combo deal $12.99 for a meal with drink. Good deal! The pork chop rice was yummy but most of the pork chop was bone! Curry beef was good too. Wish they could change it to chicken but they couldn't . My daughter doesn't eat beef. They said they would charge more for chicken. It was packed on a Thursday lunch. I usually get to-go and are ready in 15min.
