Food is always good here! I especially love their banh mi! I've been looking for a good restaurant to eat Shaking Beef at and I think I've found it here. The shaking Beef came out on a sizzling platter and had a heaping amount of meat and veggies on it. The flavor of the shaking beef was good and I liked that it had lots of sauce to dip my veggies/meat/rice in. Shrimp cake was a bit oily rather than crispy, but still tasted okay. Pho was good as well! I will be coming back!

Food at A Dong is very tasty. 5 stars. I've tried multiple items over my many visits and have liked all the dishes. Pho, egg noodle, rice place, vermicelli bowl, appetizers... everything is GOOD.My only gripe is that it can be slow to get your food. I think it has to do with the speed of the kitchen, not the actual servers. Even for to go orders, I called and they quoted me 10 minutes for a single pho to be ready. I have been sitting here waiting for 30 minutes now and it is still not ready.I like dining-in here with friends. It is a casual vibe. They are also very family friendly and offer booster seats when you bring a toddler.

I came here with my friend and his mother. They wanted to try Vietnamese food that wasn't just Pho. Bc of those circumstances they needed a spot closer to their home. They also needed something that was healthier due to their dietary restrictions.I have tried their pho before and for the south side it's not bad. I had their rice and short ribs. They were a bit skimpy on the serving and over served on the rice. The marinade was too salty. My friend and his mother enjoyed their dish, however both agreed the chow fun was too greasy. Both really liked the Nem nuong spring rolls.I think the bbq meats could have used a little more subtle flavor.

One of the better pho places in the area. Especially awesome that they carry other dishes such as rice plates and vermicelli noodle bowls. Service is great, they are authentic but they can also communicate and understand your order. I've come here many times with different groups of friends and everyone has enjoyed the food. Now I don't have to trek to East San Jose every time I want a good Vietnamese meal.

Yum. Just yummmm! The wife and I have been coming here for awhile now and have always had a great experience. The customer service is always on point and attentive. I would say maybe order your appetizers early since the pho comes out fast though. The pho itself is flavorful and never needs too much addition. I just happen to add a little lime and spice to mine but that's all that's really needed. Cold day? Pho day. Hot day? Don't matter, pho day too.

I wanted ramen, but the place I wanted to go to was packed for lunch. I checked out this Vietnamese restaurant and it was busy, but they had an open table. The pho was very good. The broth tasted really clean and satisfying. Only negative I wished they gave you bottles of the hoisin and sriracha sauce at your table instead of the small dish. I always like extra of both and they being easily available at your table, instead of having to bug the server for more. The service was good and the restaurant is very clean and inviting.

The egg crepes was supposed to be very popular and famous. Didn't like it at all. Too oily, little bit of pork and shrimp, lots of bean sprout. Not very tasteful. Banh mi sandwich - just like others. In fact, just so so. Ice coffee - It's premade, you didn't have to drip and pour it in ice. Way too sweet. Flavor is Strong enough though. Service - we requested 2 simple customizations, the waitress forgot both. Waitress asked what drinks do I want with the sandwich, I said I didn't know it comes with drink and order ice coffee, ended up cost me $5. The place is nice and clean. Presentable but that's about it. Frankly, for the quality and the price, not impressive.

Food is cooked to order. So be patient as there's a bit of wait time. but it's worth the wait as the food tastes fresh and flavorful. The servers are attentive and courteous. The place is clean- well kept. There's also some chairs and tables outside.

Close to home pho! We tend to always go to our usual spots around East San Jose but honestly we don't need to drive so far anymore. This place is amazing and really warm vibe. The workers here really care about the food and what the guests want. They ask every table if anything is needed or if everyone is okay. I highly recommend trying everything on the menu. I've had the special combo, beef stew, bun bo hue. Sooo good!!!! Stop by here try it out if you live in the area!!

We came an hour before closing and surprisingly it got busy right after we sat. Food was great. I got Korean style ribs over rice and pho. I do wish they leave the bottles of pho sauces on the table but other than that. Service was good, restaurant was super clean. Cute decor and Christmas music. Plenty of parking outside.
