1701 Tasting Lounge

The only reason why this place is getting three stars because it's going through transitional stage and becoming a cigar bar rather than a tasting lounge of what it is right now.They didn't really have a lot of choices during this transition so the service is pretty fast. The owners are really nice. The vibe was great. I believe we ordered this sweet drink and had added some champagne to it. It tasted a little watery down and maybe because there was ice in it so we just removed the ice and drank the drink anyways.We then ordered a bottle of champagne, which is reasonably priced. Due to the transition not sure if there was any food or anything like that so I don't believe we asked. Check them out after they go through their transition and become a cigar bar if that's your vibe for more power to you.

This establishment is very laid back. The owner is so friendly and welcoming, he came over welcomed us and sat and talked with us for a few minutes. He and my husband are from the SF and a lot in common. This guy has done some amazing things around the Bay Area. It was a pleasure to sit and watch the game at 1701. We will definitely be back.

The food, the ambiance,the music, and the hospitality. Everything was amazing from beginning to end. Definitely recommend and will be returning. Kim was amazing
