Zoob Zib Thai Authentic Noodle Bar

We were looking for a quick bite near our hotel, and Zoob Zib stood out as our choice to go to. It didn't disappoint. We love Thai food, and ordered a lot of the staples. Service was very quick and friendly. We enjoyed the mason jar lights decorating the restaurant too! I would recommend Zoob Zib, the value for the price is good, and the food is exactly as I would expect at a good Thai restaurant.For appetizer, we had chicken stay and fried tofu, both were very good. For main courses we had Duck noodle soup, Basil sauce chicken, pas se ew and Thai fried rice with chicken all were excellent!The server went above and beyond when we left a scarf behind and he came running out and down the street to return it. For good food and above and beyond service, 5 stars!

A fantastic, authentic Thai meal. Was able to sneak in without a reservation. Service is extremely attentive and food/drinks come out very timely. Lots of great options and parings on the menu, be ready to eat large servings. FYI: tables for 2 are extremely close together and you will not be eating with privacy (almost bumping elbows with neighboring table).

The sauce in the chicken pad Thai ($17.95) was perfectly rich, creamy, and flavorful, and that made it a winner. Good portion too. The chicken was dry, but it often is that way in pad Thai. The spring rolls ($7.95) were fine but less excitingI'll be back for the pad thai

Came here with my friend a few weeks ago for my lunch break and was surprised with how busy it was on a weekday! If I worked nearby, I'd come here often. I got the pad see ew with shrimp lunch special and it was a huge portion. It also came with salad and an egg roll which I ended up not trying. The Thai iced coffee was sweet but good!

Great place in between Penn station and Hudson yards - tiny cozy place but the service was absolutely great .. the food was excellentHad the chicken Lo mein noodles , tofu drunken noodles pad kee mao and also tried the chives pancakes - the pancakes were hot and niceGreat tasteRecommend if you are in the area Good drink collection as well

I came by for a quick Friday dinner after work with two friends; we got here at around 6:30 and even though it looked really fully, they managed to squeeze us in in a table in the back. It's definitely a bit cramped at first sight but surprisingly doesn't feel that way when you're seated haha.To start, we ordered a grilled skirt steak with jim jeaw to share. I really liked this appetiser, the beef was very tender and juicy, and the spicy dipping was super tasty, and I loved how the sour flavours really came out and complemented the savouriness of the beef.For my meal I ordered the khao soi with beef. It was .. not bad? The broth was a little salty and I feel like the curry wasn't as fragrant or strong as I'd have liked. The beef was pretty nicely cooked - soft and easy to chew - although I was a bit surprised it was beef shank rather than something like beef chuck steak that I have tended to find in Thai soup noodles (although this might be my lack of familiarity). The noodles were fine but a bit too chewy/overcooked for my taste. In all, a decent bowl of noodles but nothing too special.My friends ordered a pad thai and pad see ew, and both were not bad! I tried a bit and thought that they were both cooked pretty well - not too heavy/salty and esp for the pad thai, had a good balance of flavours.I also had the mango juice which was pretty good, and relatively not too pricey.Overall, a solid meal. Nothing particularly stood out - either good or bad - and I think the price point tended to be on the higher side for the quality of food that we ordered. Not sure if I'm that keen to come back but glad to have come by to give it a try.

This place is excellent! Courteous and fast service! Delicious Thai food! The whole red snapper with garlic sauce is a must! The duck and rice is also superb. I will definitely be back to try more dishes. Efficient service in a cute little spot.

Got the Tom yum ramen and Thai tea for takeout. Thai tea was really good. Tom yum ramen was overly salty couldn't finish it and I usually enjoy slurping the broth of soups

I've had a few friends recommend Zoo zoo zib. When we came in on a Sunday, it was pretty packed, so we waited about 15 minutes to get seated. They don't have any space inside to wait, so the staff called us whenever our tablr was ready. The tables are very close to each other. Way too close that I know too much about the party's next to me. We started off with the chicken kobab which was super delicious and filling. It came with a peanut sauce that was literally amazing! For the food. Both were good, warm, and filling. What is needed for the season. I do think the curry was a bit bland, but next time I would try the green curry. Before leaving however, we found a cockroach running around on the wall. I know it's New York, but the staff didn't seem to concerned and attempted to kill it, but it just scurried off lol.

This place has a great and affordable lunch special! Ordered red curry which came with rice, egg roll, and salad. The food was delicious. Service is super prompt. Inside is alittle small, but comfortable and cozy. Would come again if I'm in the area for their lunch special!
