Came here for lunch on a weekday. I loved the store itself. Bright, modern, felt spacious. I also loved how you could buy some specialty retail food items as well. I didn't buy anything but they have a nice selection of pantry items, fun spice combos, condiments and whatnot. For lunch, I had the Terrace Turker sandwich. A pretty solid turkey sandwich, loved the bread and their specialty sauce. I also love that all sandwiches come with chips and a pickle, makes the price point feel like it's worth it. I wasn't too hungry as I had a late breakfast otherwise I would have went with a heftier sandwich, I really want to try the Big Italian and The Mort! I will def be back to try. The menu overall was otherwise pretty limited. They had a total of 8 sandwiches, but that's not a bad thing. I like when a shop does a few things VERY well rather than 3822 things just sort of okay. That being said, I do hope that as seasons change they update the menu a bit to keep things feeling fresh or using seasonal ingredients. Excited to have a place like this in the neighborhood and I hope they stay around for a while!

So far I've had "The Mort" a couple of times and had "The Big Italian" once recently. Both were great. I do think the sandwich menu prices are on the high side--but, the sandwiches come with chips and a pickle, and the sandwich itself is reasonably sized (not huge, but enough). They also have some interesting specialty items on the shelves, like some really good pecans and almonds. Looking forward to trying more from here.

This is my second review of Zoller's since they have updated their menu and are many more things to review. I can say this is still my favorite sandwich shop in the area. But they have many more things than just sandwiches. I had a soup and salad the last time I went. I don't really like tomato soup but after the charming owner gave me a sample to try I can say it is now my new favorite thing. The tomatoes were roasted and creamy and the pistachios added a unique dimension to the soup. I liked it so much I got some to take home!!! The kale salad was also exceptional. I also got the Terrace Turkey Sandwich to take home for dinner. Again, it was exceptional. Moist and so tasty. Can't wait to go back and try the other new sandwiches on the menu.

Not only is the food excellent, the owner and staff are gracious and friendly. I had the Terrace Turker sandwich and Tomato Soup. My wife had the daily special a sandwich with roasted brussel sprouts and cheese. We will be back, and soon.

My first visit to this newly-opened place. I had the "Terrace Turker." It was a very tasty sandwich -- sourdough bread with smoked turkey, white American cheese, roasted red peppers, arugula and "Terrace Sauce." That sauce has a little spice to it -/ nice touch. Great combo of flavors! $15 and worth it, IMO. Extra points for the complimentary sides of ridged potato chips and pickle spear. I'd give it 4.5 stars if that was available. I reserve the 5-star rating for excellent results after 3 or 4 visits, but all was very satisfying for this first try!

Zoller's is a welcome addition to the Windsor Terrace/Park Slope neighborhood. The owner lives in Windsor Terrace and has years of experience in the culinary arts. He saw a need in the neighborhood for something different and creative. Zoller's is an attractive cafe with a unique menu of sandwiches and salads. They offer a pleasant seating area for dining in if you like.On my first visit I tried the Italian Sub. It is a combination of four meats, provolone, red peppers, enhanced by a really flavorful dressing and served on fresh Italian bread. Everything comes together perfectly on this substantial sandwich. On my next visit I had the Italian Cowboy. It exceeded all my expectations. Served on an excellent focaccia, the roast beef is prepared in house and is so flavorful on its own. It is perfectly paired with broccoli rabe, mozzarella, sweet chili peppers and other complimentary flavors. I can't wait to come back to try the other sandwiches or a salad. While you are waiting check out the gourmet items for sale. There are nicely curated selections to add to your kitchen or for perfect giftsA final note, Zoller's is kid friendly with sandwiches and treats for the munchkins! While I was there several families stopped in for a bite.

I'm impressed. Its not just the laboratory kitchen (i always loved laboratorio del gelato) or the cool sundry rubs, jams and snacks..... but if you love sandwiches like me, you'll realize that nearly EVERY sandwich you buy in NYC tastes the goddamn same, as apparently they are all made from the head of a boar :). The higher end meats will bring you a whole new flavor palate on the sandwiches you know. It comes at a price obviously, and i'm not saying i will stop going to nearby Sub Hub, but that is for takeout solo missions. Most of us always have a vegetarian in the group and no, they almost never want a lame vegetarian sandwich. The salads here look promising and i will report back on that, because i can't drag family or friends here without a good salad. Update to come....

Turker and Big Italian. Turker has great taste 9/10. Italian also very tasty, but bread was old and very chewy 7.5/10. Came in at 5pm. Should give option to toast, if not change out bread later in the day. Pickles were very tasty, but they should give more chips per order! Staff also friendly. Fresher bread and more chips would give at least 8.5-9/10. Will return and give them chance at redemption!

Split THE MORT with my husband. Delish! Comes with potato chips and a dill pickle spear. Focaccia bread was soft and crunchy at the same time. Held up well with the sandwich ingredients. Nice selection of beverages including beer and I saw 1 cider option. Place is spotless. Kitchen is huge and will eventually have cooking classes. Still working on testing things on the menu. There's seating inside and kid friendly food options. We'll be back for sure to try the other sandwich and salad options. Coffee and pastries and cookies and snack options as well.
