I was pleasantly surprised to find that this is owned by the same people who operate the Flushing location! I stopped in for a late lunch around 3:30pm, and there were two other parties dining. The shop is small, but there will probably be no wait if you go at an odd time. By 4pm, I was the only person in the restaurant. I got the soondubu lunch special with beef ($17.95). I will say that is on the pricier side for a lunch special that doesn't come with anything extra, but it is not unreasonable for the area. I typically like Ziggle's banchan offerings, but the ones I had this particular day didn't hit. I did like the sliced cucumber, but the kimchi had a strong acid taste, and the broccoli and potato salad severely lacked flavor. However, the soondubu was excellent! The beef was flavored well, as if it was marinated before being used in the dish. I ordered the soondubu mild, and there was great flavor without the heat! Service was wonderful! I really appreciate places that offer a banchan refill instead of making you ask if you are interested. I didn't take full advantage of this, but if there was a fishcake or beansprout banchan, I would have probably gotten a second round. The manager here is very hospitable, which is the same experience I had in Flushing. My water was refilled and there were a few checkbacks throughout my meal. I would highly recommend Ziggle for Korean food, especially if you are in the area to avoid the K-town crowds!

This spot is great for home cooked Korean food with great service! The banchan (especially the cucumbers) were great along with the other appetizers we got - kimchi pancake and japchae. We also got a steamed egg on the house which was incredibly tender. The entrees we had were amazing as well, the tofu soup with beef was flavorful with extremely tender tofu and the short rib box had so many tasty items. The service was also excellent, with the owner of the store coming by and talking to us a lot. Overall a must try for great Korean food!

Move over, BCD. This might be the best casual tofu soup in the city. I first heard of Ziggle from their flushing location, which I had visited a while back. When I realized I opened one in Manhattan, I decided I definitely needed to check it out.My story short the food here is great. That is not really a wait, since it is a bit out of the way, but there's seafood tofu, soup, and egg soufflé were both excellent. The food came out, reasonably fast and you also have to get their cheesy ttoekboki. In my opinion, the spot is definitely underrated and I'm absolutely going back .

Great food at a reasonable price.Loved the nurungji on the rice and the soup itself was great. Would probably stick with only spicy rather than very spicy next time. The steamed egg was also delicious. Will absolutely be back.

Didnt have to wait for a table on friday night. Got the hot stone beef plate. The portion size is really big and good price for what you pay for. The service was pretty fast as well and owner is very nice.

This place serves authentic Korean cuisine and the service is so good. The options are the typical Korean dishes such as tofu stew, bibimbap, grilled meat bento etc. This is not a Korean barbecue restaurant, so you would not come out smelling of greasy oil lol. The restaurant is well kept and clean, unlike some Korean places in ktown where tables are greasy. The banchan selection is smaller than at other korean places but they do refill if you want a little more after the first serving. The food portions are good.

Food and ambiance that is full of style. The sleek modern wood feel of the interior helps lend the dining area a comfortable sensation that accompanies the perfectly made rice and savory meats at this location. It's warm and inviting, similar to the dishes offered on the menu. The Ziggle lunch box provides everything to sample along with a main dish that includes tender savory short ribs. The tofu soup is has a nice kick with a punch broth. The only shortcoming is the banchan is very delicious, but is limited to 3 items. And since there are more than 3 banchans these options can vary to the party at your table. This is easily overcome by asking the enthusiastically kind staff for the additional option but can leave some with fomo.

Literally my new favorite Korean place in NYC. Staff is so nice, food is reasonably priced and delicious, and interior is well decorated. You can't go wrong with anything here. Must try the dessert!

An amazing dining experience! The ice lava dessert is so fun to eat! You crack open the chocolate shell and watch the strawberry jam pour out like lava. The shaved ice is not too icy but rather creamy, melts in your mouth.Spicy pork bulgogi is well marinated, rich in flavors. Bibimbap is loaded with meat and veggies, a healthy fish full of nutrients!Strongly recommend the seafood pancake. Crunchy and light and soft on the inside! They have Tesula for those who drink. It's a mix of soju and beer, very interesting.
