Zalim Hot Chicken & Burgers

This is for both the Bay Ridge AND NJ location and let me explain why: I went to their website to order for pick up and from my hunger and excitement I failed to notice I placed an order for Jersey. I called the NJ location in a panic and they were so kind with me. They transferred my order to Brooklyn and when I showed up they already knew what was going on. Me being the anxious mess that I am kept asking if it was okay and my guy was so chill. Customer service: A+Ok, now the FOOD! The smash burger is what it should be (and I've had my share of smash burgers) with a little boop of their sauce that makes it special. Fries are delicious. My hubs got the honey butter chicken sandwich and when he took his first bite he went "OMG it's like butter" so that's some tender chicken! And the Zalim burger? Their signature burger?? That charred grill flavor is worth making the trip to Jersey. It's a pretty big burger, too! I'll definitely be back because I need to try everything on the menu. The care for the customer is matched by the tasty menu. And when you (I) find them online, make sure you're (I'm) ordering from the right location (yes this is me reminding myself).

Grand Opening I enjoy their chicken choices, and fresh cut fries. Their Customer service is refreshing to experience. Ample seating and everything is very clean. It was LOVE at first bite y'all. I ordered the mild chicken sandwich with fresh cut fries to go. My son absolutely LOVED the chicken sandwich and so did I. Probably the best fried chicken on 3rd Avenue or within a mile radius (*that I know of). Juicy, flavorful chicken that left me wanting more. The size of the tender in the sandwich was off but that's what you get when you put a tender in a sandwich and since the quality and flavor bomb was in it, I didn't mind it. The fresh cut fries weren't crispy but they were fresh and tasty so I'll eat those too.

Chicken was good but small piece so...sometimes, I was just eating the bun A bit too pricey for a piece of chicken...a drop of some type of Cole slaw and maybe a pickle. Hope they last..but don't see many people in there

Tasty, juicy burgers. Fries were great, just a tad too salty. Shakes were decent. Altogether was a good experience

The Spicy Chicken sandwich was surprisingly fresh, crispy and flavorful. The loaded fries with beef were also great. Very excited to try more options and very glad to have a nice burger joint in the neighborhood.
