A quick stop at Yunnan Noodle House for some excellent shrimp, pork & chive with the attendant sauce, an order of rice rolls with peanut sauce, and a small cup of sesame seeds to add as you please, along with a comforting bowl of jook (rice stew) with silken pork and cut pieces of a thousand year egg and a hint of sesame oil were delivered in less than 15 minutes after ordering. Sooo good on a cold night without feeling too full. A couple Dixie cups of cold water and a piping hot cup of soothing green tea to finish. All served with a smile and for $36 including tip! Who says you can't eat a nice dinner in New York for a reasonable price? I love this place. Without hesitation...GO!

This small, late-night gem in Chinatown is always our go-to spot when we arrive in NYC after hours. Open until 5 a.m., it offers all-you-can-eat noodles--aka. refillable noodles. You can order a single pot of broth to share with friends and keep adding noodles. My personal favorite is the tomato soup with beef; it's super refreshing. We also love their fried chicken and salted chicken bites, both of which are amazing. The skewers never disappoint either. The milk bun is tasty, especially when paired with condensed milk. If you're thirsy, I would recommend trying their ice tea in the bottle (its a yellow bottle)- refreshing and sweet, ask for a cup of ice to make it better! The space is small but I've never waited more than 5 minutes to get seated, even when the restaurant seems full. In short, I highly recommend this place.

This is a new location on grand Street. They just opened this week.I ordered the beef golden pickled pepper noodle soup $14 . The bowl was huge with a lot of meat in it. Also very tasty. The service was fast and the place spotless.

On a cold winter day, yunnan noodle house is perfect to warm up and enjoy delicious food. My 2 friends and I walked in on a Monday evening around 8pm and the restaurant was full, but we were able to be seated right away. We ordered the tomato broth and Szechuan spicy sets that come with your choice of noodle and different toppings. The soup comes out in a piping hot stone bowl and you can enjoy a hot pot style meal. This is a casual restaurant that serves the food quickly at an affordable price. I will be coming back again soon.

After going to the Chai Spot, make your way to this hidden gem. I cannot find a better dinner deal than this. The bowl of noodles were flavorful and less than $20. The best part is you can request as many refills of plain noodles you want to add to your soup. In addition, if you order one of the crossbridge noodle soups, it comes with 12 side dishes..how sweet is that!I don't think you can find a better deal than that.

Such a delicious and great value spot in Chinatown! I came with a friend on a chilly Tuesday evening, and the restaurant was bustling. Luckily, we were able to grab a table with no wait. The prices here are incredible, and you can get a giant bowl of noodles and flavorful broth for less than $15! I came hungry and wasn't able to finish my food, and I wasn't even able to take advantage of the fact that they give free noodle refills! I ordered the tomato with sliced beef and enoki mushroom, and I also asked for it to be spicy. The tomato broth was delicious -- warming, acidic, and flavorful. It could have been a bit spicier, but it had a nice kick and also came out piping hot. The rice noodles had a lovely bouncy and chewy texture and picked up the flavorful broth very nicely. I also thought there was a decent amount of vegetable and beef in the bowl. The service was fast and friendly, and the restaurant was clean and pretty spacious. I would love to come back!

The $13 AYCE deal is one of the best in the city. Even one bowl of soup is super filling. The coconut curry noodle soup was soooo good and the side dishes they give you to put in the soup are all so good. Service is very quick and good and I like how they don't over communicate with you and just let you eat. Also a great late night spot-- must try!

For a cold winter day, the game for noods definitely calls! And for the price? It's extremely hard to beat! I came to the Bayard location after volunteering one afternoon & needless to say, we were extremely full afterwards (we had lunch and I didn't need to eat dinner). Service was okay but for a no frills place, what did you expect? FYI, we did order the squid as an appie but it only came as lukewarm. The noodles were great though (& free refills if ya need)!

Wanted something warm since it is such frigid temperatures outside. Menu has a lot of options, and I chose the tomato flavor broth base with the rice noodles. They are currently running a promotion where they offer a free fountain drink as well. There are 3 types of noodles you can choose from which are rice, sweet potato and Shanghai noodles. My order also came with 12 mini side dishes which were pork, shrimp, sausage, ham, ground pork, fish tofu, quail egg, lettuce, pickled cabbage, black fungus, corn and bean curd. You can order additional noodles with this dish without paying extra. I got rice noodles again. Quantity for $13 is worth it, but quality was just okay. I was seated near the door, so had to wait a bit for service even though the restaurant was not packed.
