Went for a Valentine's Day and it made for a lovely meal! We got the lunch prime package, which is well portioned for two people given the banchan refills. Wouldn't have been enough for 3 people though. I noticed the majority of other diners there ordered lunch sets rather than grilled bbq, so I want to come back to try those. Servers did a really great job at cooking. The short rib was fantastic. We also added a side of potato noodles which was a delightful end to our meal. Restaurant has a really nice interior, no smoke in the air at all. Perfect for a date night

Still one of the best KBBQ spots in NYC! Get the prime package with the busan pancake, galbi bibimbap, and korean fried chicken to start. Be sure to grab a bowl of the purple grain rice as well. The service is fantastic and the seating spacious, which is always a nice plus. Worth a trek if you are craving KBBQ and want quality + ambiance.

Don't be fooled by the other KBBQ spots in K-Town, Yoon Haeundae Galbi is much better and does it the correct way. Usually, I am hesitant with servers cooking the meat as this is a form to rush diners out/flip tables. This results in meat being overcooked/cold. This is what other KBBQ spots do. What is amazing about Yoon Haeundae Galbi is that the servers cook the meat properly and there is no rushing. The food comes out tasting delicious. Their food, drinks, and service are spot on. Their appetizers- the steak tartar and mushroom plate are very good. I haven't had one bad food item while eating here. An overall excellent place restaurant. It was very easy to get a reservation for a casual dinner or a special occasion.

A nice ambiance with clean, modern lines and low lighting. The service is prompt and nice, they cook the meat for you. We opted for individual orders rather than a combo. I wish they would've let us know the extras that are available like lettuce for wrapping. The cuts are extremely marbled and therefore very tender, almost too tender (extremely fatty). Just a step above quality of meat at places like New Wonjo.

Restaurant ambiance is very nice. Our server was so sweet and attentive, we had some nice conversation with her! All the food was so delicious! All the meat had great flavors, the side dishes were all so yummy, the pancake and kimchi stew were both so good. The servings are pretty generous! The dessert was a little bit icy (chunks of ice) but the flavor was light and refreshing!

Vibe: I think they try to go for higher end feel, but the small details did not achieve that. Music was poppy, bathroom was just ok, etc.Service: service was good, our host was attentive and friendly :)Food: honestly, food was underwhelming. The galbi dumpling was dry esp the skin. We got the prime/mari package and the meat quality was so mediocre. Nothing too write home about. Maybe a tiny bit better than an AYCE place. Since galbi was in their name, I looked forward to the galbi the most, but it was very underwhelming. Also, no lettuce? Lettuce only comes in a Ssam set, and not free. Especially at this price, I did not think it was worth it.

I've tried a lot of Korean bbq, and am not a fan of this place. I think the meat quality is fine, but they charge a lot more than other places for similar quality. I tried a lot of things since I came with a larger group, like the Pajeon (very untraditional and rather soggy) and Japchae (just fine). I was also really looking forward to the potato noodles at the end of the meal, and they ended up being soggy and rather flavorless other than salt. You're really paying for the atmosphere, as it's a more "modern and upscale" kbbq joint. Service was also pretty bad: slow and unreliable. It seemed like this across the restaurant. Our waitress in particular seemed like she was trying to avoid working. Maybe they were having an off night, but with this much competition in the Kbbq space, I would just go somewhere else. Even if everything on the menu was 25% cheaper, It's not worth the price IMO.

I found my favorite kbbq place in the city and it's here! Came here for a birthday dinner and man everything was on point. First of all make a reservation trust me this place is popular and what's great depending on your party size you get 90 minutes or 120 minutes and they will YEET you out at that mark it's not a secret at all. They tell you it when booking and sitting down. But you don't feel rushed either unless you talk too much than eat then maybe you might have an issue haha. Our party ordered the Prime/Mari Package and it was absolutely divine. Not only were the meats delicious the service KNEW how to cook the meats in the correct order and cleaned the grill each time a new type of meat was placed. They did not hustle you or anything. They kept you very informed of when it was ready and what's coming next. They weren't just churning out tables like the other spots in ktown. Ambience is very modern Korean bbq which was great. They read our reservation note mentioning we are celebrating a birthday and brought out a candle and little ice dessert for the birthday person which was very special and they loved it.Everyone should have their kbbq here but make a reservation tho! And I heavily recommend! For the price you getting great food and service.

Walked in at noon on Friday with no reservations available on Resy. They seated us immediately. Service was prompt, impeccable, and awesome. We got the haeundae package on the lunch menu with a cold milmyun and dwenjangjjigae for the two of us. I would say this whole meal was a 10/5.They cook the meat for you. The meat was so tender and soft. I loved the unseasoned galbi that comes with dipping sauce and salt roasted in sesame oil. The banchan with the food was great. The bulgogi is cooked in a broth the traditional Korean way.The dwenjangjjigae was rich and thick, like the way my grandma makes her broth. The milmyun had this subtle vinegary taste that's rich but smooth. The noodle texture was so good. It's a bit pricier but definitely better on the wallet to get the lunch menu (they also have a set menu which we saw most patrons getting) than dinner. Such good KBBQ!
