I live in Chinatown and saw when they opened fairly recently, noted it to try at some point. Went last night with my gf for valentines. It really was an outstanding admittedly upscale experience. The food was excellent. The A5 sampler was great, with the chef who prepared it throwing in a bit of a cut that is not typically on the plate due to its limited portions when butchering. So got lucky in that one. The meal was amazing, the restaurant is beautiful, the service was good not great but only because the waiters are so busy running around to all the tables and seemed a bit overwhelmed. Will definitely be returning in the near future.

Nice gem in Chinatown. We made 5:30pm reservations for 2 and was seated immediately. Servers were super attentive, kept refilling our tea the moment it was near empty. Food - the meat cooked to perfection and the wagyu sushi melts in your mouth.Tried the standard menu and ordered the special menu for my mom. Both were excellent in their own ways. Service - 100%Ambiance - romantic, quiet and tables were spaced out. would definitely come back again.

My mom told me that a new restaurant had opened up on Elizabeth Street earlier in the week and so we decided to give it a try when we needed a spot to grab dinner on a random Wednesday evening. We were the first customers for the night, I think, but more tables came during our meal. We opted to do the $70 omakase course, which includes 7 banchans, a salad, tofu jigae, 4 meats, and dessert. The banchans are unlimited refills, and they were great about giving us more. The meats were very good and we opted to go with the option of them cooking it for us, and they were cooked perfectly. Service was really attentive the entire time and we felt very well taken care of. I would def recommend it if you're in the area and are looking for a different experience.

I loved this spot! We tried the $98 tasting menu with a bunch of girls and all the grill options were terrific other than the beef tongue that was a tad on the chewier side than I like. The almond pudding dessert they served at the end was so nostalgic for me that I would have loved a bigger portion. I shall bring my husband here for his birthday!

I walk past this place all the time and finally decided to pick up lunch from here. I ordered the beef rice bowl (I forgot the name on the menu but it's #1 on their lunch special) for $20 +tax. I can tell the meal was cooked with care and the ingredients were fresh, but the beef was a little too sweet for my taste. It was similar to bulgogi but maybe a tad sweeter. The kimchi tasted different than what you would normally get at a Korean restaurant. I couldn't put my finger on what the flavor was. I found this to be only okay (normally I would gobble up all of the kimchi). The going rate nowadays for a lunch salad or sandwich is $15-$18 so the value is there in this dish if you're hungry at lunch time. I gave it 4 stars because even though the food didn't fit my palate, I can't say it was bad. I would come back and try another dish.

This place is amazing! I made a reservation for a large group of 8 for my birthday, and the experience was great. We all got the standard course ($68), and we're happy with the meat quality, taste, and portion size. The food and service were awesome.Aside from the course, they also have BBQ and a la carte items to order if you want to try separate things.Great place for gatherings and dates. Will come again!

Food - ordered the Toraji 2023 course. The Home made kimchi was refreshing and goes well with the meats in this course. The meat was fresh and accompanied everything well. Service- the staff were very attentive, respectful and kind. Overall I am happy with the customer service.Ambiance- the dim ambiance lighting. For those that get confused by the addresses. This is right across from the infamous Elizabeth Center.

As a huge BBQ meat lover, I was super excited to this spot! The decor is so spacious and modern yet romantic. The servers were all super attentive to our needs, making good small talk and suggestions, even offering gum at the front door upon leaving. Wonderful date night experience. The meats were perfectly marinated and grilled to the point where they all tasted amazing and expensive especially the beef tongue and wagyu. The star of the show: the soybean pudding!! It was beyond immaculate and wound literally come here again on the daily for the pudding only. Perfect date night spot if you're willing to spoil yourself/your significant other.
