In NYC just for the weekend, so of course had to have some pizza! Too many choices near the hotel, so we figured it was best to ask at the hotel reception for recommendations, and they sent us in the right direction! Xeno's was a short walk from our hotel, small and modern looking, not busy at that time but they had a good selection of pies. We each tried a different one and were all very happy. I had the one with vodka sauce, cheese, and basil, and it was everything I envisioned. We sure got a good recommendation from the hotel staff.

Awesome pizza shop in Midtown East off 52nd near 3rd Ave. It's clean with a few two tops of tables, quick service, and the staff is super welcoming and friendly. I ordered a slice of the Hot Voddy which was delicious, piping hot, had a wonderful crust that crisped up when reheated in the oven. The hubby got a slice of pepperoni which was so different from mine with the grease of the pepperoni but went really well with the tomato base. $12 for 2 slices and a soda.

BLUF; fresh and deliciousWe were in DC for just a few days and looking for some genuine New York style pizza. Hard to find down in VA where we live now.Unfortunately our train got in late so we had to settle for something we could find quickly. I really didn't want to go into Xenos since it frankly looked a little too much like a chain restaurant.Wow. So glad we stopped. We got a Margherita pizza that was amazingly good. Fresh basil and cheese, crunchy crust, tangy sauce.We wolfed it down.Defintiely would go back.

Great pizza for an okay price. Would come back. Seating inside and some outside. Buffalo pizza was a nice subtle Buffalo! Loved it. Garlic knots were my favorite. Water bottles available too.

Hands down the best pizza I've had all week in this area (visiting from Virginia)! I love a good old slice of plain cheese pizza, but my companion pointed out the roasted veggie slice, so I had to try that too. The flavor was amazing! This is what I think of when I want a NY slice. The place was empty when we sat down, but it was packed by the time we left. Highly recommend this place.

This was a very good pizza experience in midtown Manhattan, NYC. I visited on a Saturday night and to be expected there was an evening rush. After all, it is New York City on a Saturday night. What I enjoyed about this pizza is how large the slices are, thin the dough is, and the crispy crust. Everything you would expect from a traditional New York-style pizza. The cheese to tomato sauce ratio was very appropriate and standard. Since this was my first time trying this pizza I stuck to the basics and ordered one cheese and one pepperoni pizza. I was impressed with how they executed even the most basic pizza. They definitely take pride in preparing their pizzas and even on busy nights. I do recommend calling-in your order as I'm assuming it gets pretty busy on Saturday nights as was the case during my visit. But this is to be expected on at the height of the weekend. I will visit again when in the area. Give them a try.

We ordered 2 slices of pepperoni pizza and 2 sides of meatballs. To start- the place is insanely clean for a pizzaJoint. There were 2 guys making pizza and 1 guy who looked like he could be a vineyard vines model who was very attentive. At any rate, the pizza was good and the meatballs were shockingly tasty. We were all pleasantly surprised and not too full but nicely sated.

If you're in midtown, this if the place. They have a very good selection of sices to choose from and every single one we tried was awesome. The garlic knots are amazing. It's just a huge added bonus to get good food at under $10 a person in Manhattan and you don't need to wait in a huge line. I would recommend this place to anyone.
