A lot of people were recommending this place so I decided to give it a shot! Overall, it was a solid experience. Their famous wonton soup was the highlight - dumplings packed with meat and the noodles were chewy. Hearty meal! The roast pork and roast duck were also tasty, while the green beans were just very average.Prices are a bit higher than other Chinatown spots. It's a popular place, so be prepared for a wait. I waited about 20 minutes for a table. Worth a visit if you're craving good Chinese food!

this place really went downhill! i used to love this spot but it has done a complete 180! first thing i noticed was a grade pending on the door but we had a CNY reservation with the family so we went in. i had to use the bathroom and only one stall was working. it smelled disgusting and it was so unclean and unkept! there was a long line and the configuration of the bathroom is so awkward.my dad pre ordered some stuff but they sold out on a lot of the stuff. our reservation was for 4:30 and they said we had to be out by 6:30pm. we ordered many dishes and nothing was great. in fact, many things were average at best. we were a party of 12 and they would only give us less than 12 items of each things so not everyone got a piece. we ordered scallops in the shell and there were 11 not 12, fried prawns had 10 and then peking duck was 8 pieces. it was really bad. the peking duck was roast duck and $68 and not a whole duck. we complained and the waiter said i can bring you more now, but we were already done with those dishes and almost done with dinner.at 6pm they were trying to rush us out. horrible service!! not clean!! below average taste!!

Ambiance is nothing to write home about. Typical NYC Chinese place. But it's clean and quite spacious and tables can accommodate 10+ groups. What really shines here is the freshness of their ingredients and the service. We got the king crab. Yeah, it's expensive but I'm not sure I've had better king crab anywhere. They serve it three ways. Steamed with ginger, garlic and scallion, fried salt and pepper style, and fried rice. All three dishes were fantastic. What I loved the most was that they didn't over season the food so what really shined was the freshness of the ingredients. Wonton soup was excellent as the quality of the wontons was top notch. Only disappointment wand the jelly fish and mixed bbq. Honestly next time I would just order the suckling pig as that was the best item on the dish. Skin was so crispy and delicious. Beside the food the service really stood out. They were attentive, friendly, and accommodated several birthdays around the dining room by bringing out and servicing the cake. Finally this place is BYOB! So bring your best wines and celebrate a fantastic meal.

Your classic Cantonese restaurant a little outside of the busy Chinatown area. Food was decent with good meat portions What I did not appreciate was getting scammed by the waiter even when we're speaking their native language in Cantonese. We just asked for a lb of cha siu which he said was oh it's $10-$11 and when we got it it did seem ALOT. Should've actually specify for half a lb or even less. But when the check came it was $19 which was close to 2lbs for the 2 of us... What we did enjoy was the roast duck noodle soup (haw fun) and for the first time there was not only a good portion of duck but duck was also meaty!!

Good place for big groups. Large tables, lazy susan's, big menu and large portion sizes made for sharing. I recommend calling ahead to make a reservation, especially during peak meal times. They do take card for payment. The prices are reasonable and food is good. Menu has a variety of proteins, so it was good for our friends who don't eat pork. We ordered: Bokchoy- beautiful, fresh, and delicious. My favorite dishBeef chow fun - lacks flavor, not that much beef Beef with scallion - yummy and beef was tender. The red onion and scallion add a lot of extra punchy flavor. Roasted duck - was good! Not the best I've had, but can't complain. Garlic crispy chicken - also good! Not as good as Uncle Lou, but was very solid. Rice costs extra ($1.75 per bowl). The service is good! It was a bit rushed, but they were attentive to getting more tea and water. We did get a free mango pudding dessert at the end which was light and delicious!

Casual Cantonese style restaurant with a large menu. We went before 11am and the main menu wasn't avcailable yet. For breakfast time they had the BBQ dishes, dim sum and wonton only. The dim sum was very good, we got shu mai, soup dumplings, chicken feet and pork feet, all very good. We also got the wonton soup which also taste very good. They definitely do not skimp on the filling and the wonton are stuffed with big pieces of shrimp and pork and very well-seasoned. The Cantonese bbq including chicken, roast pork and duck are also very good. The roast pork skin is wonderfully crispy. I came with my picky parents and they liked all the dishes.Service is quick and attentive. Our waitress spoke English pretty well and recommended some dishes that we liked. Prices are very reasonable for the amount and quality of food.

Decent spot near the train station. We were seated fast and immediately given tea. The duck was a standout - delicious flavor and good amount of meet. The chicken and broccoli was also very good. The pan fried noodles had a great texture but lacked flavor for me personally. The environment is lively and casual. They'll take your order quickly but if you need something during your meal, you'll need to track someone down as the staff is moving around rapidly. They accept card but of course, cash is preferred. Huge portions too, so it's all great for sharing!

My friend chose this place for dinner before we had an event by the water, about a 10 to 15 minute walk. For ambiance, don't expect anything more than your local Chinese takeout vibes but with a few more tables. The menu however is not what you usually find. My friends and I opted for an order of spring rolls, beef pan fried noodles and walnut shrimp. It was just the perfect amount for three people eating a decent portion. Everything was fantastic.Would definitely come back again.

Quick update just for the king crab 3 ways - it was amazing! It was $72/lb and the smallest one they had was an 8 lb crab. We ordered it just for two of us and finished most everything, but had some tasty crab fried rice to bring home. It also came steamed with garlic and deep fried with salt and pepper. Also love that they continue to be BYOB!

I was finally able to try out this New York City institution for Cantonese cuisine and it surely did not disappoint. My favorites are the suckling pig, king crab served three ways (steamed, fried, fried rice), and garlic chicken. The crab is delicious however just be prepared to spend money as it is not cheap. The suckling pig is some of the best I've had in New York. Protip is that you don't need to order a whole pig, you can get a small portion of off the a la carte menu. I recommend making a reservation for any peak-time dining as the place gets full of parties including a lot of birthday celebrations. The service is good, better than the standard for Chinatown. I recommend coming with a large party to try out and share more dishes off the menu.
