Undoubtedly, one of the best meals we've had on this trip. Searching for a late night meal without a long wait, this was on the top of our list. Came with no expectations, we just wanted asian food. This reminds me of the lunch halls in Asia. Very casual & affordable. Homestyle freshly made packaged Korean meals. Iove the concept. Grab your food & drinks, pay for it, then microwave it yourself & go find a seat. Seating was a little difficult but they turn over the tables fairly quickly. There are a few microwave stations on both sides of the restaurant... and they recommend heating for no longer than a minute, but do you. Lol. The food here is really good and with its location being next to the Empire State, this is probably the best bang for your buck. Affordable & down right delicious. Tough to pick favorites but the bulgogi bowl & kimbap were probably the top. So good, we even bought more to eat when we got back to our hotel. Highly recommend this!

Woorijib offers a delicious selection of homemade-style Korean meals that are packed with flavor. The food is comforting and well-prepared, giving off that authentic, homestyle feel. The service is quick, and there's plenty of seating, though it does get crowded quickly, so be prepared for a bit of a wait during peak times. One unique feature is that you can microwave your own meal to heat it up, as the food is at room temperature. This gives you more control over the temperature, but it's worth noting if you prefer to have hot food at the restaurant instead of take away. The prices are affordable, which is great, but I do wish the portion sizes were a little bigger to match the value.

I've been coming here for over 10 years and it's always consistent. I love the variety and convenience of being able to pop in and just get what you want. The flavors are authentic and as good as any other Korean spot I've been to. I like that you can just choose what banchan you want and keep it moving. 5 stars every time!

Amazing value with incredible quality. This is the actual food your body needs with prices you can actually justify. They offer so many amazing options like this mackerel that was incredibly flaky, moist, and perfectly seasoned. Make sure to microwave your food! It makes it 10/10. I then had the oxbone soup with slices of beef. It had a very light flavor but a wonderful richness that comes from the bones i presume.Lots of restaurants in the city claim to have home-y, authentic korean food, but this place can do exactly that too. I really left woorijip with the feeling that I had that experience for a wonderful price. If you're in the area I highly recommend

The streets are saying Woorijip is a local classic for all Korean food lovers. This place came highly reviewed from a few friends who live in the city -- some even say they go several times a week, given its price point, ease of access, and taste. Woorijip offers a variety of ready-made home cooked-style dishes of Korean classics, including kimbap, japchae, fried chicken, spicy pork, bibimbap, tteokbokki, and all the banchan you could ask for! I tried the seafood pancake, pork dumplings, and fried chicken and was satisfied with all of the offerings. When you walk in, you'll see racks of food on the left hand side and a hot fridge housing classic rice. Once you've picked up your food you make a line and are helped by very efficient workers. This unassuming store has plenty of shared seating, with tables quickly turning for those dining in. There's also a few microwaves available for folks who prefer their food hot. Note: there's a small cash discount - so bring cash if you like to save a few bucks here and there!

My husband and I really enjoy this cafeteria-style spot where you can grab ready-made foods. Prices are decent, $10 for Korean fried chicken, $9-10 for kimbap, etc. I grabbed four dishes for $38. 8% off for cash payment!

I love New York but why are late dinners the norm!? As a staunch supporter of 5pm supper, I used to struggle to make it to the 8p dinner res. Enter Woorijip. I'll pop in, grab a box of kimbap under $7, and happily munch on the seaweed-wrapped parcels of delight as a pre-dinner snack. If you have a 2.5 hr wait for Cho Dang Gol and can feel the hanger coming on, go to Woorijip! If you sang your heart out in KTown karaoke and need a late night snack, go to Woorijip! If you're coming from a concert at Madison Square Garden and want munchies that aren't nasty grub (NY pizza slices I'm looking at you), go to Woorijip! Hungry? Go to Woorijip? Not hungry? Go to Woorijip! Just go to Woorijip!

My favorite go to spot for something quick and cheap while still being delicious and filling. This is your standard grab and go spot. There's a large variety of food you can pick from sitting out that's made fresh every day. You can choose to microwave to heat them up if you want. You can also get food that's kept hot and cold. Great when you don't want to spend too much money for some Korean food, especially in this neighborhood.
