Wonderland

Really cute bar! It wasn't super busy walking in on a rainy night even though the other bars around were packed. They give free shots at the beginning and everything is both presented and decorated in a really aesthetic manner. Service was very attentive and cocktails definitively are inventive! I tried the slow and steady (super peppery and not my favorite), a summer Saturday (my favorite one the olive was a little off putting at the beginning but I grew to like it!), and the all my lovin (very tequila forward but really good!)Definitely a good place for a date where you can hear the other person and it's fun to watch all the cocktails being made!

Wow! This place does well on the decor and creates a place for very instagrammable drinks. Honestly, if you wanted to show off to your online following this would be a great place to go - every drink is unique and whimsical and plays well on a video. What's really interesting is that the service is really trying hard to succeed, and there are so many of them. It's really nice to get this level of service. So why only 3 stars? What a great question.Despite getting an A for Effort, an A for presentation, and an A for decor, there's just a couple real issue when it comes to taste. None of the drinks tasted better than okay to good. It's funny because we expected drinks that tasted better than Please Don't Tell based on the show going on, but they tasted more like an amateur cocktail makers attempt at fancy cocktails. We had to leave and go get less pretty, but better tasting cocktails at PDT afterwards.The food also is interesting. Most of it is okay to good, the Eel Clubs were actively bad and I love eel. They somehow hit a weird mix of dry, flavorless, bony, and beautiful. Yes, everything is beautiful here.Maybe I'll give it a shot again, but it's hard to do so in a city with so many great restaurants.

Hmmm... I might give this place three stars. Now Wonderland is gorgeous and definitely original! They still had their super cute Christmas decor up during mid -January. I saw online their pics for Halloween - I know I have to come by for spooky season. Service was also amazing and friendly. Wonderland's food and cocktails presentation are on another level - it is very Instagram worthy. Servers even make sure you are ready to take pictures/videos of these lavish cocktails. Everything was gorgeous, but some of the cocktails did not taste good. Our party tried many of their specialty drinks - all I can say is that the Wild Perfume and Shiso Leaf were the ones we like. Anyways, it is certainly a very pretty place. Also if you get hungry, get the truffle fries - those were good.

My friends and I stumbled upon this place after my birthday dinner. We were trying to get into Paradise Lost a few doors down, but it was shady vibes at the entrance so my friend nudged us into Wonderland simply because of the festive decorations in the window. On a Friday night, with no reservation, my little party of 3 was seated immediately. I have NEVER heard of the EXISTENCE of this place before, never seen it on social media, NOTHING, so EVERYTHING was a surprise. I spontaneously ordered what must be the most beautiful alcoholic beverage I have ever encountered, The Calm Qi of Life. I read some other reviewer said the drink quality wasn't up to par? Well while the drinks are expensive, one sip of my beautiful work of art surrounded by flowers reminded me I was DRINKING. Definitely got some KICK.We also ordered truffle fries, which came in a giant bird's (or DINO) nest display. My friend got the chicken sliders, and from what I can remember (because I took a big chomp) I loved them.The service is here is IMPECCABLE. And I loved the little freebie potion shots they brought over for us to sample. This is DEFINITELY the sort of place where you're kinda watching what the other tables drink orders to see what's gonna happen over there too; EVERY time a waiter showed up ANYWHERE, there was a captive audience in the vicinity to watch the smoking, bubble-popping, mystical beverage. And yes, the decor in this place was MADE for taking pictures, and the waiters will do it for you if you ask! Such an awesome place!

Pretty presentation of the drinks, however if I were to assess the quality of the drinks, they are more lackluster compared to its competitors out there that also have pretty presentation. Some of the drinks really did not taste good... specifically a summer Saturday and all my Lovin. I'm all for spirit forward alcohols, but the alcohol taste was very much apparent and not masked at all... like in ur face kind of pungent.Best presentation drink: wild perfume (looks like a magic ball)Best tasting: shiso leaf (addition of ginger and peach makes it quite tasty) Overall rating:Drinks quality 3/5Ambiance: 4/5

Food was decent , a tad spicy but well cooked and season. Service was amazing from start to finish. The hostess was great, our server attentive and gave good suggestions for drinks.Ambiance is a place to chill or go out on a date.

What an experience Wonderland was! From the eclectic decor, various plush seats, and unique cocktails, this bar is one of a kind. My friend and I got reservations and were seated in the back, a more quiet and intimate setting compared to their bustling front bar. We tried out various cocktails and bites, and had a great time! We got free welcome shots (a combo of tea and orange juice), and the service was great! The servers were nice and knowledgeable about the drinks on the menu, and had recommendations based off of what we usually liked. My favorite was the shiso cocktail, a sweeter gin cocktail that came with a literal sparkling entrance. The food was ok, the truffle fries were a little too salty though. All in all, definitely a place to try out! The bar has unique cocktails and is a cute place to take pictures too!

However, the experience takes a turn with the hostess, who was unfortunately neither welcoming nor pleasant. As the first point of contact, a hostess should set a warm and inviting tone, but this one fell short. Despite this, I decided to stay and give the place a chance.Once seated, the evening improved significantly thanks to my server, Cristian, who was exceptional from start to finish. His recommendations were spot on, and he guided us through the menu with genuine enthusiasm and knowledge. The drinks were perfectly crafted--balanced and refreshing--and the skewers were cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor. Cristian's attentive and friendly service made the rest of the dining experience memorable, despite the initial rough start.

Let's be honest, most Instagrammable places these days do not have decent food and drinks. This is another IG spot failure.Service was Great! And all 3 stars are going back to their service! And this is the reason I was holding back my review, feeling bad writing exactly how the drinks were.This place is extremely cute and Instagrammable, if you are looking for a place just to take pictures and create content, this is a great place! If you are looking for a real good cocktails, this is definitely not a place for you. Drinks were extremely Instagrammable, the creation/ story behind each cocktail was very interesting, but they went extremely heavy on alcohol, heavy on sweetness, and all other taste of each cocktail was just too overly done, extreme, like you can't find any balance in any of the drinks. I was there with 2 other friends, all 3 of us couldn't enjoy and finish any of the cocktails at all. Because of the cocktails, we did not have confidence to try their food.
