This is genuinely one of my absolute favorite restaurants in New York City. Maybe even the whole world, actually! We go there so often they know us by now.If Tang is working a shift, I typically just ask her what she recommends I try and she always brings something out that knocks it out of the park! Some of my personal favorites are: 1. the papaya salad: a classic starter that is so well seasoned, it really knocks it out of the park.2. the pad thai: another classic that is well seasoned, not too sweet3. the salted egg stir fried squid: you genuinely have never tasted something so good! 4. the khao soi: brought my thai friend to tears!5. the chive pancakes: my partner gets this every single time she is here.6. the eggplant and tofu: bro... oh my god! try this one, just trust me on this.7. Crab omelette: would everyday of my life if i could8. the panang curry????????? yo! they add pineapple to it and is genuinely mind blowing!9. crab fried rice: man nothing more to say than this place SEASONS their food SO well!Get thai spicy if you can handle the heat because it genuinely is so good it deserves to be eaten the way it is meant to be made! Get the medium to mild if you can't, still rocks your world! They don't do reservations, if you have a large party call ahead and tell them and they'll be prepared to house you.

A New Yorker friend recommended this tiny spot, and I'm so glad I gave it a try! The place might be small, but the lovely decorations and vibrant, helpful staff create such a warm and welcoming vibe. The food is authentically Thai, with flavors that are perfectly balanced not too strong, not too mild. It's just the right level of spice and seasoning, making it perfect for both Thai locals and foreigners looking to experience real Thai cuisine.

Overall: 4.3/5--rounded down, although I debated rounding upValue: 4.2/5Service and speed: 4.5/5Taste: 4.2/5I arrived at the restaurant just before 5pm and it was already quite packed. By 5:30PM there was a line in the foyer, so come early! The restaurant is somewhat small but elegant appearing. Menu is pretty large and they are quick to take your order and bring out food. I had the key mao noodles (drunken noodles) and the khao soi. As someone who has visited Thailand, I felt that the key mao noodles were some of the best in the world. They really know their way around fried noodles. The Khao Soi was a bit disappointing which I should have known that Northern Thai cuisine was not their specialty but I was craving it anyways. I would come back here for more fried noodles or to try their curries. Skip the khao soi.

I absolutely love this place. They literally can do no wrong. Service is phenomenal & food is phenomenal. The ladies who work here are super warm and efficient. You put your name down on a piece of paper with your party size and they'll call your name. Don't be deterred by the list of names, they're pretty quick with turning parties around in their decent sized space. My favorite dish is the pad thai with tofu, sooooo flavorful and caramely and the perfect amount of eggs and peanuts! Also highly recommend the go chai, pad gra pow, crispy pork & chinese broccoli, and any of the duck dishes!!!

Wondee has upped their game in real estate, with a new place just down the block from the original. Pros:-cute aesthetic-more servers-a bathroom!Unfortunately, the portion sizes reflect the change in their budget :( Used to feel like a ton of food, but this time I left still a bit hungry.Still, don't miss the shrimp in love or yum salads- I leave dreaming about them.

One of the better thai restaurants I've been to in NYC. I lived in Thailand for a bit and the food here definitely rivals what I'd find in Thailand.Overall, the space is incredibly clean. I like how it's bright and inviting and noticeable from the outside. Our waitress was incredibly knowledgable and recommended some great dishes. The food came out pretty quick and packed with flavor. For NYC, the portions are slightly above average. The dishes also don't leave you feeling super heavy. I loved how light the salads were and the sauce on the minced chicken was so delicious.I definitely want to come back and try as many dishes as I can!

First, there's the restaurant and a few doors down (3? 4?) is a teeny tiny spot that should be for pick up and take out, but it's not designated as such. Second, this review is for the restaurant. It was lovely inside with tasteful decor. The people were incredibly friendly and genuinely interested in our experience. They asked if they could make recommendations and when we said, " Yes, please." Our experience improved even though it was great from the time we sat down. Talk to them about what you like and don't - and they will steer you to and away from dishes.

Great authentic Thai food at a pretty average price point. The wait can be long but it moves fast and the staff are incredibly friendly. There's no shortage of excellent Thai food in NYC - or even in just Manhattan - but I'm glad to have all these amazing options.Pineapple fried rice is fantastic, and I recommend the catfish salad (made with crunchy mango) if you haven't had it before. The crispy pork with chinese watercress is a must, and the duck curry is delicious.

WOW best Pad Thai i have EVER had in my life. I might not be a super Pad Thai connoisseur but my boyfriend is and he also gives this dish a 5/5 stars! Definitely be careful with the level of spicy, because this place had me shookedddd. This dish has set the standard for how all my next Pad Thai's should taste. We also had the steamed dumplings which were amazing!! The only thing we weren't 100% a fan of was the thai iced coffee bc it already comes sweetened so you cant really ask for it to not be as sweet as it came (which was pretty sweet). Service was also amazing and loved the vibes of the place. Bright lights and pretty.
