Places like this rarely exist anymore. Truly a throwback to old school Brooklyn food spots. The staff is always warm and friendly. The ambiance is inviting and perfect. But the food! Next level delicious!! I had the hungry man meal. Requested for my potatoes and sausage to be well done, beyond delicious they way they make the potatoes here. Truly a hidden gem in Brooklyn. Highly highly recommend it.

OMGdon't miss out on this hidden family friendly gem.Everything everyone had was amazing, super large portions and amazing hospitality. The sangria's were fresh made. Chips of fruit to enjoy at the end.But the sweet potato fries were on point, crispy, hot, and .... If you're looking for an old school brooklyn neighborhood place this is it. Service is friendly, people that eat here are regulars and the feel of the restaurant is what I miss about the old NYC.I came in and ate at the bar, didn't know what to order and I was told by a nice man sitting at another table that the split pea soup is really good so o ordered that with a side of bread.The soup bowl is huge and the split pea soup was really good! It had slices of ham in it and the bread tasted like it had garlic powder on it so I dipped the bread in the soup and it was really tasty.Perfect lunch for winter and the prices here are good. I'll be back soon :)

Good spot for a cheap price and great food. Definitely if I want a burger in a classic diner this would be my spot to go with Brooklyn locals. Ambiance can get lively on the weekends and service was sweet to my bf and I. Go to this spot to for the simple yet yummy diner experience. :)

The food here is so good, it's an absolute shame that is hardly ever open! So far what I have tried has been surprisingly great quality and flavorful. Even the plain drip coffee is fantastic, which I was absolutely not expecting to be that good since diner coffee isn't usually something to write home about. I really loved the burger I had my first time there because it's cooked how you want it, and the fries are amazing. Service is friendly and efficient. My only complaint is that the seating isn't super comfortable, its actually fairly uncomfortable. However, it's not enough to to knock off a star.

Visited the area and came across this place. Nice small family owned restaurant. Service was great, got my food fairly quickly which was good because I was starving. I had a veggie omelet with homefries and a croissant. Everything was delicious and hit the spot.

The food was good, tasty, and good service. I know they have been there in the neighborhood for a while ( which I haven't in 15 years) Thank You for your service and good quality food. People may say other things about meals, but Vinny's has hot filling and affordable meals for people on the go.

Great little breakfast place I found while visiting Brooklyn. Not very big inside but food was good and service was great. Plenty of food for a reasonable price.

I'm surprised that I don't come to this place more often. It's conveniently located on Ave U and the food is delicious! Came here with a group of friends and everyone was happy with what they got. The service was excellent as wellI got the Texas burger which came with bacon, sautéed onion, chipotle sauce, and the greens. Everything complimented each other very well and this burger was full of flavor. I was so full after and the presentation was excellent as well. In no way was this burger dryThe sweet potato fries is an excellent option to get. They are crispy on the outside and perfectly soft on the inside. Paired with ketchup or honey mustard, it is perfection. I would opt for this over the regular fries because those weren't as crunchy. Will definitely be coming back here again

i get a blt and an order of fries prob 3x a week, sometimes more... its always $16.95. Today it was $22!!! for a blt!!!! what the heck? beyond overpriced, i wont eat from there anymore after this. wow
