Villa Castillo Restaurant

Stopped by with my kids to grab LG quart sized container stew chicken/pollo guisado and small sweet plantains (Maduros) Since I had the rice and beans in the house I was charged almost 18 for that I could've made dinner for 3 maybe 4 nights with what I spent she Allred's had put the card through by the time I realized what a mistake I made foods not that great anyway again lesson learned My fault this place gets 1 star you got me for my money NEVER AGAIN

ROAST PORK ... Yes please. It's one of my favorite proteins so when I see restaurants have it available I most try. Villa Castillo does it Right with there Roast pork lunch special it comes with tender and juicy pork white rice and yummy beans.. for $8:50 you can't beat that. Adding to my go to lunch specials.. it said 60 mins it was way shorter I was shocked how fast they got here and the steam still coming out when I opened it.. I had to take a break because I'm full.. they have many other options to try for lunch.. please do I had to call and thank them personally. A sweet lady answered and was happy I enjoyed it..

This place is pretty small. I've visited a few times for lunch while at work. The food is great! Always on point with flavor. The staff is very welcoming and hospitable. The price of the food is perfect. I will continue to visit here.

I was doing laundry nearby and decided to grab some food. I got a burger and it came with fries. The burger was over cooked and unrecognizable as a burger patty and the fries were super greasy and tasted like old grease. The burger didn't taste too bad with the other toppings, but I never have to go there again

This place is the absolute worst! They charge debit card fees and try to pass it off as tax. If it's tax why Don't you charge the same fee when I pay cash? What does it mean when the owner tells me "this is America"? I was born here and you weren't, I know where I am and that's why I questioned your bs fee. Aside from that the food is terrible anyway, deliveries are late, food cold and still disgusting! Bad attitudes, mixed with lies and over charging and catering to Dominican customers just means that this restaurant shouldn't be in America, but probably the Dominican republic with how they conduct business and treat non Dominican customers. Bottom line this place is the worst and no one should ever come to this disgusting place. They don't deserve anyone ever coming here and the waitress who serves the food is disgusting also. Just the worst!!!

I'm sorry to say but their quality of good food has fallen. Beans were bland and the yellow rice had the taste of pegao, which is the burnt bottom of the pot. At home is one thing but in a restaurant must be avoided. Rice and peas lacked flavor, fried pork skins not crispy. Breaded pork chop was OK but was better back then. But when packing food, I ordered a burger for my kid, and whoever packed the bag put the burger on the bottom and the heavier platters on top. Food got to my house and the burger and fries were crushed. I'm sorry to say but this place has fallen from grace and I will no longer order food from here!

I didn't know there were any Spanish restaurants in the neighborhood. I'm glad I found this one on yelp. The delivery was so fast I had to let the food cool off a while. The Cuban sandwich was full of flavor as were the chicken chunks and rice and beans. I will surely be a regular customer. Ok, time for a nap .

I really like the food here, we usually get the boneless chicken chicharrones, pernil, or the chicken stew lunch special. The only issue is that delivery takes forever. The last 2 times I ordered it took over an hour and a half to get delivery. The woman who takes the orders is borderline rude at her best, and when you call to ask where your order is she always says they just left and they will be right there. Spoiler - they take at least another 45 minutes.

Everytime I order the food keeps getting worse. I taste a lack of effort to please the customer. Needs a new focus or new industry because food service isn't working out. Poor.
