Came here for brunch. Food and drink was good. Live music during Sunday brunch. Nice bar and great ambiance. Overall a nice place to hangout with friends in midtown.

This review is for their bar service and offerings. I have never eaten dinner there and think of this as more of a bar than a restaurant, but I have had two really good group cocktail party events here for work. Both were managed and staffed very well, keeping drinks in guests' hands throughout the evening. The staff tidied things up nicely as needed and worked hard throughout the night on both occasions. If you want to have a private event (cocktail party), they were quite organized and can be a good option to consider. The main bar downstairs was busy and popular on both days that we had events, so seems like a hopping place in the evenings!

I was in mid town for a work thing and my co workers recommended checking out Valerie! We already had dinner but their food smelled delicious and looked tasty! I loved their big menu of cocktails. Especially as a gin girlie, I appreciated how they have a variety of gin types and drinks; for example even an option to mix and match your gin and tonic. I ended up trying the Sequal which offered floral and refreshing vibes! The jasmine and hibiscus came through for sure. Even though it smelled sweet, it wasn't overly sweet in flavor. The place itself is spacious with two floors. The first floor also splits from a bar front area and dining back area. Definitely big enough for private parties! Staff were friendly and attentive. Hoping to come back next time I'm in the area!

Our experience at Valerie was so good! We had reservations and were seated right away in the upstairs part. The food was absolutely delicious, we ordered the burger, the truffle bucatini, and the short rib. All 3 dishes were super flavorful! The ambiance was also really nice, there was an after work event on the first floor so it was a bit loud but once we sat upstairs it wasn't that big of a deal. Everything came out promptly and we had great service! Would definitely come back!

Had a great group dinner here! We came for happy hour. Not too many drinks on the menu and for food they just have the good deal on oysters. I had the burger and truffle fries for dinner. The food was really good and I enjoyed it a lot. It was perfectly cooked medium rare the way I like it. I also had the Smokey martini and under your spell cocktail. Loved the under your spell. The peppermint and spices were such a nice flavor and not too sweet. The martini came in a glass you can refill with the martini chilled on ice which was neat. The Smokey one wasn't quite as Smokey as I expected. The Smokey olive was great. Really enjoyed this place and the service was good. Would highly recommend.

The bao buns and the short rib are delicious! The service was good and the restaurant was very elegant. This is a must try!

Met friends for dinner and had an amazing time. Wait staff were great and did not rush us through the meal and allowed us to visit. Restaurant was busy so would recommend reservations even on a week day. Menu is limited but everyone was able to find something yummy on the menu. It did get rather loud so would not recommend for a romantic dinner date. Reasonable priced for the city and conveniently located close to Hotel.

So we were walking down the streets there in New York and came across this place. I have to say it is so nice in there. The bar area is just phenomenal. We went during lunch. Did not have a reservation but got seated right away. The hostess was very nice and polite. Our waiter was great very attentive knew what to recommend.We weren't super hungry, but we shared a burger and I have to tell you that that burger was so delicious. It was on lunch special as well so price was even better for it. It is a good size so if you don't eat that much I would recommend sharing it. They had an extensive menu for cocktails and cocktails which all looked delicious. I would definitely go back again to try more of their food. I soon found out that this place is a staple New York and it's a definitely must visit. So it was nice to come across it while visiting.

ColtonSpeed slowly 2022 is a legendary drink.The service here is excellent. The ambiance is amazing.

My wife and I had a great lunch at Valerie on December 4, 2024, as part of a memorable day celebrating our anniversary. The décor broadcasts this place exudes a fantastic vibe.We started with 2 gin cocktails: She's A Keeper and the Smokey. My wife thoroughly enjoyed hers. The Smokey was absolutely outstanding--a perfectly balanced cocktail with smokey gin and rosemary that truly elevated the flavor profile of this drink.For lunch, we shared 2 dishes: the Tuna Tartare and the New York Soppressata Flatbread. Food was great and came fast! It was just the right amount of food to fuel us for a long walk around Manhattan afterward.Valerie's cocktails and the ambiance make it a must-visit spot. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a chic yet relaxed lunch experience in the Manhattan!
