Absolutely love it! Twin Tails delivers an outstanding dining experience, and their Peking Duck is a true standout. The duck arrives perfectly roasted, with crispy, golden skin and tender, flavorful meat. Served with soft pancakes, fresh scallions, cucumber, and a rich hoisin sauce, every bite is a perfect balance of texture and taste. The service is top-notch--attentive, friendly, and well-paced, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable meal. The staff takes care to present the dish beautifully, adding to the experience. The ambiance at Twin Tails is stunning--warm lighting, stylish decor, and a vibrant yet comfortable atmosphere make it an ideal spot for both special occasions and casual outings. Whether you're a longtime fan of Peking duck or trying it for the first time, Twin Tails makes it an experience to remember! We certainly had a great time and really enjoyed the food and DRINKS!!!

Thai restaurant in Time Warner? Game up! We came with a group of 8 so we were able to try many dishes. I have the say kitchen here are EFFICIENT. They dropped all the apperizer together, and all the entree + sides together, it does make it feel a bit rushed but wow, efficient.:::Appetizers:::Green Curry Escargot - can't go wrong with this combo. Worth trying.Peanut Ginger Chicken Skewers - as it sounds.Betel Leaf Bo La Lot Skewer - very good, get it!Friend Spring Roll w/ Pork - YUM, came with lettuce wraps.Pancake w/ Crab Dip - both are delicious but not sure they are really meant to be together. I ended up dipping the pancake in whatever other sauces came with other dishes.Crispy Rice Pomelo Salad - usually it is individual rice but here is big chunks of rice. Lost a bit on the texture for every bite.Emerald Goddess Salad - refreshing :::Entree:::Beef Shank Khao Soi - okay... This is an $130 dish, we wanted to try it but the menu really should specify this is for 4-6 people. It's basically a giant cow thigh that is the size with my head (well including the bone). It was tender so that's important. The noodle was a tiny plate of noodle salad formet which was unusual and off proportion with the Shank.Cho Lon Duck - another dish that is probably for 4-6 people as well. It was very good, Thai style Peking Duck, slightly too fatty on the skin but it was so dark in the restaurant so I pretended I didn't see it.Tiger Prawn Pad Thai - very good but also something hard to go wrong.(OKAY - with all the appetizers ((some we had 2 orders each)) and the above entrees, our waitress should have stop of right there, instead, she was even telling us we need the belows.)Red Curry Sea Bass - it was fine, Bangkok Super Club was better.Night Market Chicken - way too much food to even try. It looks just okay.:::Sides::: yes we have even more foodPeekytoe Crab Fried Rice - it was good.Scallion Noodle - unnecessary.Peashoot - veggie is always needed.:::Dessert:::Mango Sticky RicePistachio Pandan Souffle Coconut Red Curry Souffle I was very excited to see the souffle flavor combination, they were just fine, the flavors were a bit artificial and quite sweet.:::Cocktails:::Among 8 of us we tried quite a few, they are slighty inconsistent when served. Overall okay.

This place was absolutely made for the girls. Perfect for a girls dinner to chat and catch up while eating amazing food. Love love love the decor -- feels very sultry and elegant and we were seated by the window, which gave us incredible views of Columbus Circle. We ordered the salted lychee martini -- phenomenal. And then a whole spread of delicious food. Dover sole and tiger prawn pad Thai were stand outs. And then the dessert. Wow. You must get a soufflé here. We had the passion fruit soufflé and I couldn't get enough. Would go back just for that. Service was also incredible. Incredibly kind, helpful and we never felt rushed or pressured.

I had a great time at Twin Tails! Food was amazing. We had an 8:30 reservation, and unfortunately they were sold out of the dorade sashmi and king crab/uni buns. We ended up ordering fluke, mushroom rice rolls, grilled branzino, duck, crab fried rice and pistachio pandan souffle. I'd definitely recommend the rice rolls, duck, and souffle!!! I'd skip the fluke. They also told me that we got the last duck and souffle of the night. I would've been pretty disappointed if those were sold out as well -- so don't go too late! Food was still delicious, and I definitely want to go back to try the other dishes!!

Twin Tails is a fairly new restaurant, and I'm so glad I got to try it before it becomes overly popular! I came here to celebrate my friend's birthday, and everything we ordered was incredible. This review is focused entirely on the food: * Whole Royal Dorade Sashimi: Yes, it's on the pricier side, but it's absolutely worth it. The fish was incredibly fresh and came with two dipping sauces--one spicy and one citrusy. This dish is a popular appetizer for a reason! * Peanut Ginger Chicken Satay: Perfectly charred and served with a rich peanut butter sauce and a tangy passion fruit sauce. Such a flavorful combination! * Steamed Sea Bass: Tender, flaky, and perfectly cooked. * Tiger Prawn Pad Thai: Absolutely amazing! The prawns were served on skewers, and the noodles were packed with flavor. * Cho Lon Duck: A standout dish! Served with a side of crepes, it's reminiscent of Peking duck but with its own twist. It's a must-try! * Crab Fried Rice: While slightly on the dry side, it was packed with flavor and generous amounts of crab meat. Still, a dish I'd highly recommend! * Desserts: We tried two. The famous Pandan and Pistachio Soufflé was slightly disappointing--the pistachio flavor overpowered everything, and the pandan didn't come through authentically. However, the Ube Crème Caramel completely redeemed the dessert course. It was like a rich, creamy ube flan--absolutely delicious!Overall, it was an amazing experience! While we felt slightly rushed due to the busy atmosphere, the staff more than made up for it by offering us complimentary drinks at the bar. The service was excellent, and the food was outstanding. I highly recommend giving this place a try! LOVED and definitely will be coming back!!

A long hallway leads you into an Asian inspired paradise. It is a dimly lit restaurant with pop music. The restaurant emulates Vietnamese and Thai street food. There are sticky rices, noodles and an emerald salad. There are Asian cocktails, a special duck, steak, fish, and various style of food. The desserts are good with a selection of Asian flavored soufflés. It is busy on weekends as it is new and is located Shops at Columbus Shops. The prices are high, but it is a good experience.

The stunning decor of Twin Tails, coupled with the nearly flawless service and delicious cuisine, provides for a pleasurable dining experience. We were warmly greeted by the host upon arrival, before making our way over to the bar for a pre-dinner cocktail. Let me just say; the bartenders are dressed to the T's,and they conjured up some exquisitely crafted cocktails throughout the evening. The Salted Lychee Martini was unique, with a hint of olive juice providing the saltiness to an otherwise sweet cocktail. For dinner, our party of four tried the Netted Chicken Spring Rolls (delicious, but only 3 to an order,) The Shaking Beef, Glass Noodles, Crabmeat Fried Rice, Coconut Rice, Crispy Garlic Shrimp, the Cho Lon Duck, and Long Beans. All dishes were scrumptious, but the standouts to me were the Beef, Duck, and Crab Fried Rice. The Coconut Rice was very good too, but a very creamy/milky version, which differs from other versions I've tried. For dessert (I don't know how we found the room for it, but we did,) we tried the Pistachio-Pandan and Passionfruit Soufflés, and the Ube Creme Caramel (Flan.) The Ube Flan and Pistachio Soufflé are not to be missed!Twin Tails is a nice space for a special occasion dining experience, and worth every penny, which you will be spending a lot of!

Twins Tails is a new, grand, dazzling restaurant in Columbus Circle that is bringing some real excitement to the dining in this area. Our experience here was a bit inconsistent but overall fun and exciting, and it was one that left us eager to come back and try more of the vast food menu. Dining in Columbus Circle has always been a strange experience for me, because during the day it is an overwhelming touristy, highly-trafficked mall, yet the restaurants try their best to make you forget that you could essentially roll over and find yourself in a Sephora or J.Crew. And yes, the food is slightly pricier than your average NYC restaurant, which is expected for the area, but the food is good enough that you won't leave feeling like you paid for location rather than execution. We came here at 8:45 on a Saturday night. When I said our experience here was inconsistent, I was primarily referring to the service, which was evidenced early on when we weren't seated for almost 45 minutes after our reservation time. Luckily, there are some high-top tables near the bar that are fair game as you wait for your table, so we ended up getting a cocktail and taking in the scene, which is quite impressive. The space itself is massive and sprawling, which makes the wait that much more puzzling. In any case, the vibe strikes a great balance between buzzy and classy, refined but not pretentious. It is also excellent for people watching, or, in my case, getting ideas for what designer bag I can fantasize about.Drink-wise, I started with the Salted Lychee Martini (ketel one, lychee, lime leaf),which is a unique, kind of salty kind of sweet kind of fruity situation which is hard to categorize. It was sold to me as more like a dirty martini than something like a gimlet, but I would not agree with that. Even so, I really liked the drink and it seemed most folks here did too, because I saw one on pretty much every table I look at. I then got the Tamarind Negroni (guilder's canton dry gin, blanc vermouth, tamarind aperol), which, similar to my first drink, is a spin on a classic using Southeast Asian ingredients. Really delicious and I was sad when I finished it way too quickly.Food-wise, the menu, like the space itself, is massive and overwhelming in the best way. It was quite hard to deliberate because of the sheer number of enticing options. I'd probably want to return with a larger group to try more dishes, as there's only so much that can be accomplished with two people. Interestingly, the dishes we liked the most were not the ones sold to us as being crowd favorites, so I was happy to have consulted Google reviews to help inform our decisions. Eats, below:Yellowtail crudo w/ water nuoc cham and and shiso: A-A beautiful, vibrant presentation. The fish was fresh and delicate, the flavors were elegant and thoughtful. Not the most exciting dish of the night for us but still good if you're looking for a raw dish. Black Pepper Sirloin Satay: AI seem to have failed to take a picture of this dish so apologies for that, but perhaps it's a good indication of how excited we were to dig into this. These were really yummy, seasoned nicely, and came with a dipping sauce that was also excellent. Mushroom Bahn Cuon Rice Rolls: A+Definitely the surprise standout of the night. Not an intuitive order but I read enough rave reviews that I knew we had to try it. Everything was fantastic - the sauce, the seasoning, the flavors. The winner of the meal, no questions. Emerald Goddess Salad w/ chrysanthemum and honeydew: AFun and creative preparation, another dish I wasn't expecting to love as much as I did. I could've probably eaten three of these by myself. Grilled Royal Dorade w/ Serrano-Ginger Dipping Sauce: A-I was really feeling one of the other seafood mains but our server was adamant that this was the world's most favorite thing on the menu, so we paid $55 (most of the other fish entrees weren't this expensive) to see what the excitement was about. It was good but I can't say it lived up to the hype. Flavors were really nice, the fish itself was solid but nothing special. The sauces were delicious. If you're feeling it go ahead, but with a menu this vast there's plenty more to get excited about.

From the people behind Zou Zou's and Bad Roman, Twin Tails is the newest restaurant from Quality Branded, offering a menu that celebrates the flavors, ingredients, and techniques found throughout Southeast Asia with strong influences from Thailand and Vietnam and nods to Cambodia and Laos. Cocktails include a new take on the lychee martini and other fun riffs that will soon become signatures, and the wine list has strong French influence with entire sections dedicated to Sancerre, demi-secs, and vintage Bordeauxs.Let's not forget about the sweet and warm hospitality. The service was phenomenal and worth blushing over. With only 6 weeks open they are running like a well oiled machine. Cheers
