WOW. This was a last-minute reservation on a Saturday night, and so we felt lucky we were able to get in.Loved the ambiance; excellent location.Shared a salad to start and then had filet mignon. I'm a PITA when it comes to steak in that I like it medium well -- usually chefs need to butterfly a filet mignon, but this was cooked like any other filet and it was perfect. One of the most tender steaks I've ever had. Highly recommend asking for some peppercorn sauce on the side; delicious with a slight kick. We also requested bleu cheese dressing for our house salad and kept it for the steak as well. Lovely combos, both! Our friends eat seafood (there's a lot on the menu), but I don't -- what they had (crab cake and surf 'n turf) they said they really enjoyed. They also shared a side of mac and cheese and raved about it. There was enough left over for them to take home. Some of us saved room for dessert; our friends shared the tiramisu and enjoyed it (although did feel it was a little rum-heavy -- is this a bad thing?? :) ). I'm embarrassed to say I paid $16 for a bowl of chocolate ice cream -- but I was in the mood for chocolate ice cream, and it was RIDICULOUSLY GOOD chocolate ice cream. If anyone tells me it was just Breyers and I paid for two scoops what I could've paid for four cartons, well, just keep it to yourself please! The servers and front staff couldn't have been lovelier or more accommodating. It is expensive -- it is a steakhouse after all in NYC -- but for a treat for an evening, I highly recommend this place. I look forward to returning!

Service was very good. The food was above average but in my opinion not worth what we were charged. It was very quiet inside because most of the tables were empty.

What can I say...the food was so delicious and so was the wine. We had the porterhouse, calamari, baked clams, and salad. The staff was incredible. We seen a star or two which we did not expect, so that was an extra bonus. The vibe was on point.

Classic steakhouse that checks every box.The restaurant has a modern and intimate interior. It is relatively well lit and clean. The service is sharp and friendly. It has that old school vibe but is way more polite than rude. All of the important menu items were hits. The dirty martini was expertly done and came ice cold with quality olives. The wedge salad was fresh and the blue cheese dressing was creamy. The baked clams were awesome. The creamed spinach was great - not oversaturated with dairy. For steak we went for the porterhouse for two at medium rare and I have to say they nailed it. It was beautifully presented on a sizzling hot plate with even slices and a nice crust. The dry aged flavor came through nicely. The filet side was as tender as I have had at any steakhouse. The sirloin was pretty much faultless as well. Finally I can recommend the Tiramisu for dessert which tasted homemade.Overall this steakhouse just delivered on every important metric so I will definitely be back.

The Filet Mignon was so decadent. I enjoyed the special mango shrimp salad - it was refreshing.

Tables are super close together which doesn't allow for private conversations. Food quality was good and tasty but incredibly expensive and didn't feel worth the money. Clientele were majority tourists and not locals which is always a tell for a restaurant.

I came for a talk in a reserved private room at 7 PM on a Tuesday night. The restaurant itself was pretty empty even during prime dinner time. The private room itself was pretty small but felt quite cozy. It housed their wine cellar so we had the servers come through a couple times looking for wine for guests. Service was really good and all the servers were friendly. Dinner started with a bread basket. The bread was warm and flavorful and the butter was delicious as well. I had a mixed greens salad to start with and it was well dressed with a good mix of greens and a few scattered tomatoes. For my main I chose the chicken Parmesan which was a huge piece of chicken that was well breaded and fried and had a great amount of sauce and cheese. The mains came with some small plates of mashed potatoes and creamed spinach shared amongst the table which were pretty standard fare but a nice accompaniment for the main meal. Afterwards, for dessert they brought a huge plate covered with pies, whipped cream and fruit to share. I didn't try the pie but the whipped cream was great and went well with the fruit. However, the fruit was not sweet unfortunately. All in all, a solid meal and a great space to host a private event that is on the smaller side.

Very favorable steak. Delicious salad. I loved the creme brûlée!!! And the homemade limoncello. The only complaint was that I had some leftover -- but they took it without providing a take away (or asking) -- however -- maybe it wouldn't have tasted good reheated :). Mike offered exceptional service and suggestions along the way.

poor food and poor service. When I expressed dissatisfaction with the food, no apology, just said I should have mentioned the extra request in advance
