We were turned away at my usual karaoke spot because they weren't open until 5pm (their website says 4pm btw) and they were having a private event at the bar so we couldn't wait there. They told us to come back at 5pm (it was 4:45pm). We originally sat down at at able with some HH soju bottles, and then asked if we could be moved to a karaoke room. They moved us into a room in about 30 minutes and we were able to take advantage of their HH inside the rooms too. I think we ended up with about 10 HH soju orders. We had a grand time. I think we were there for 2.5 hours. I liked that they had 30 minute increments so we could finish up our song list. We were able to find all the songs that we wanted and the system was very easy to use. All in all, I highly recommend. $10 per person per hour? Cannot be beat!

I come here just for the fried chicken. Make a resy so you don't have to wait. I still think this is the best Korean Fried Chicken. I really like the light batter. It's not too thick and crumbly. I don't get flakes all over my face or shirt. I believe the chicken is double fried? Or at least it tastes like it to me because the outside is so crunchy but not flaky. Ya know what I mean? We split the order between soy garlic and hot and spicy and daaaaamn, it was spicy. BEWARE. We ordered the drums and wings cuz you know, dark meat is so much better. LOL. And, you have to order the radish on the side. It cuts the fat and the sugar.

I'm not sure how I've never reviewed Turntable, as it's one of my age-old Ktown staples. When I don't feel like waiting in line for Soju Haus or Bangia, Turntable always pulls through with its fun speakeasy 5th floor vibes, crowd-pleasing snacks, and table availability.Although it can't compete with its sister restaurant on 33rd Street when it comes to peculiar names, LP Bar offers a much more intimate vibe than Turntable Chicken Jazz. My favorites on the menu are the kimchi pajeon, the tteokpokki, and the thick fries.

Came here for drinks, pretty fun atmosphere with long picnic like tables. Got the beer tower and they made it fun with changing LED lights! The LP cocktail came with a smoke bubble, pretty cool and also tasted delicious! We also got fries which were real potatoes cut, thick & crispy, not frozen which impressed me. Usually late night karaoke places are all processed like foods. Liked the records on shelves and record players displayed, staff were friendly, will be back again!

Met up with friends. Picked this place but it was closing for a private event at 7pm. Ordered a couple of items and drinks, 1 order of wings and 3 sojus over 75 bucks. Bit if a sticker shock even for the city and for the items we got. Good service and ambiance. Overall its ok.

This spot tries to present itself as a trendy gastropub capitalizing on the dive bar aesthetic but is actually just a dive bar at best. The decor is very much typical grungy NYC dive bar with a few cool elements like the walls lined with retro radios. There are a few TVs to watch the game. The "boneless" chicken was so bad it felt like a joke. As you can see in the picture there's no texture to them at all. They tasted microwaved and were tough to chew. In fact most of the food tasted microwaved. The kimchi scallion pancake was so soggy it was hard to peel off the wax paper. The fries were double fried and serviceable but a little overdone. The dumplings were crunchy but too salty.Unremarkable spot with real bad food and no real redeeming qualities.

I had a after work outing with some of my colleagues on a friday evening. Some light bites and drinks.Yelp offers a free lychee soju shot when you check in. I mentioned it to the group and they all checked in as well- which we received a cute tiny Mason jar shot glass of lychee soju. We decided on one of their happy hour Large Combo ($99) that features beer on tap (cool lights) with some bites; appetizer, chicken wing and side. We ordered fries, chicken wing (mixed spicy & soy garlic), bulgogi fried rice. Also a few bottles of soju. Then later ordered more chicken wings (last call before Happy Hour ends), soju and tteokbokki. I ordered extra radish because that small ramekin isn't enough for all that wings. The side was $3 for the bowl.We actually enjoyed the crispy hot fries with the sauces (unless all of us were that hungry) and the tteokbokki. I loved the tteokbokki the most but wished it was bigger portion size for that price. I will admit tye actual rice cake is larger than other restaurants and what the supermarket packages sells but the bowl finished so fast. It was soft, tender and chewy; not over or undercook, just perfect. The bulgogi rice wasn't what we expected. Thought it would be an actual fried rice but it was regular fried rice with bulgogi on the side. I guess to maintain the flavor? Because if mixed in the rice maybe it wouldn't shine? One of our colleague kept munching on the radish only like it was peanuts... which was a good thing that I had ordered it. Because one colleague thought it was ridiculous that I ordered a bowl of radish for $3 but everyone had some with the wings as you should. Chicken-mu is always the way to go with the fried chicken.Very dim/dark with lots of large communal seating. I was expecting karaoke but maybe it happens later in the evening? We left by 8pm (Happy Hour is over at 6pm). Very cool vibe. Would come back for those wings and tteokbokki.1 negative experience- they removed our beer before it was empty. Thought they would transfer to pitcher to give us more space as food arrive but they never brought it back

Following up over a year later! Still love turntable LP bar & karaoke. I pretty much order the same thing I always do: the kimchi scallion pancake, soy garlic wings, and hush puppies. Decided to get the twisters as well. Everything was so delicious. It was a lot of food for too people but it was too yummy to leave anything over. Outside of the wings are perfect texture with the perfect crunch, sauce is delicious. Kimchi pancake is so unique, I've never had it elsewhere. Pairs nicely with the sauce. Twisters are between a potato chip and fries, it's a nice appetizer. Hush puppies are my absolute favorite! So delicious and especially with the spicy mayo they give with it. Ordered both apple and strawberry soju, both great but liked the apple more. As we paid, they brought out a lychee shot for each of us, on the house. Service was good. Went during the happy hour, great prices for new york! Definitely will be back soon.

What can I say. I must be addicted to their tasty AF Korean fried chicken wings at this bar, both the spicy and soy garlic flavors. I'm compelled to return to gnaw on them wings again today on the late afternoon of the Presidential Election Day of 2024! Heck, I did vote, so I rightfully deserve some tasty wings, y'all!

Love this place! If you reserve for before 5 pm, you can get 50% discount from the original price. Max is 4 people for one room. Ordered some wings, fries, and string cheese. The food came quickly and it was good. There was a sudden staff change so I was confused, but we figured it out in the end. Would come back 10/10!
