This place had a pretty good vibe too it and they had much more than just Korean fried chicken- though they did have a lot of that. Service was a a tad bit slow for the night, but we weren't in any hurry so it wasn't a bother.

Chicken is perfectly crispy and flavored, we got two large combos of soy garlic and spicy. I wish I took more pics of the delicious creamy corn and twisters and also the rice cake but our large party devoured it all - testament to the taste. Loved the ambience. Even the bathroom was decked floor to ceiling with old album covers. The music selection was top tier. Service was excellent, they looked after us and even gave us free round of shots! This is my second visit at their chain and we will be coming back.

A combination between Asian fusion and American. This hip place looks like it is underground, but it's just off the main street. We stopped in for a couple of espresso martinis but all of the food that passed us looked delicious! The restaurant was packed so the service was not the best.

Such a fun spot in NYC's Ktown! I love that they have something for everyone. We tried the twister potato, veggie japche, fried chicken and popcorn chicken, and the angry salmon roll! The sushi was delicious for it being such a small part of the menu. Would definitely come back.

Good Korean Fried Chicken in a fun, casual atmosphere. Had the Drums and Wings combo which was solid and the Chicken Sandwich was also very good. The Chopped Galbi Steak and the Japche were okay while the Truffle Fries were addictive.

I came here the day after it opened. Would have liked wet naps for the chicken and possibly some dipping sauce. Overall pretty good

My husband and I here came here late on a Friday night. We were able to find seats and there was a lot of cool decor including vinyls. I ordered japchae and my husband ordered a salmon roll. We both enjoyed our meals here. I would come back to try other food items.

Atmosphere (5/5): This gastropub had such a cool vibe with retro music themed décor. On the second floor, there looks to be a DJ setup. It's kind of dark inside but at least it wasn't very loud. I was surprised on how empty it was during peak dinner hours! Service (5/5): Since there were very few parties dining, the service was great. We got our drinks quickly and had our food out in a jiffy.Food Overall Salmon Tartare (4/5): It was a nice portion of spicy salmon. It could have used a few more pieces of the large wonton-like chips. The flavor was pretty good. Wings (4/5): We ordered half soy and half spicy. The spicy is pretty spicy! The wings had a nice outer crunch and great flavor!$9 pint beers, pitchers, and $65 towers

The Good: The Food, Reasonable Prices, Album CoversThe Bad: Inattentive Staff, Slow Service, Undisclosed compulsory 20% GratuityThe Ugly: Christmas Music instead of RockStarting with 5 stars.Of all the places we went this was the only place that had a compulsory gratuity. Any place that has a compulsory 20% gratuity, doesn't disclose it, and then also has a spot on the final ticket for an additional gratuity is an automatic fail. I don't know if it's just for the tourists but it's wrong and we will not go back. Minus 5 stars. The 3 stars for the good food and and cool vibe (when it's not Christmas).Minus 1 star. They switched their playlist to a bunch of Christmas music, the only song remotely associated to rock being "Jingle Bell Rock". This totally blew the vibe.We were seated quickly in an area near the front of the restaurant, a row of tables near the restrooms. I would not recommend these seats because people are always walking by. Instead ask to be seated in the back where there is more space. Drink orders were taken and we got them quickly. We made the mistake of not ordering food when the drinks came and ended up waiting for 15 minutes to put in a food order. We ordered fried dumplings, small half and half chicken combo (which consisted of 6 pretty large pieces of chicken) and the bulgogi roll. The dumplings came out first and were not very warm but they tasted OK. The chicken and Bulgogi came out together and they were both good.Fortunately for us the couple sitting next to us, with whom were were conversing, noticed the compulsory gratuity and mentioned it to us or we would have been paying extra gratuity.
