Second time dining here. I enjoyed the food so much the first time that I had to come back. The downstairs is sexier and more vibey than the upstairs, and is perfect for a romantic date night. The service is phenomenal. The wait staff are super attentive but not pushy. Cocktails are delish. Prices are what you would expecte for the area, and not for the broke.I realized my second time that they change the menu seasonably. Fancy. I went back for a specific dish, a delicate like ravioli with a sweet corn sauce. I can't even describe it but to say it was dainty, yet rich. The sauce was creamy, a little sweet, but the cheese balanced it. In any regard they didn't have it this time! So I'll have to go back again when it's back. The bread is worth purchasing for thr table. The baked clams are outstanding. Amazing flavor. I opted for a ceasar salad - very good, but dressing was a bit more anchovy tasting than I prefer. My husband got the branzino and I got the seasonal ravioli dish. I was disappointed with the flavor profile of the dish, which had caramel yogurt zucchini mint sauce. I was hopeful but it wasn't for me. The chicken cutlet parm is grade a. The lasagna was very good and worthy of going back. They had a kimchi lasagna on the menu this time that I wanted to try, so I'll be back. Sounds creative.Bathrooms super sexy. Nice wallpaper and clean. If their kitchen is as clean as their bathroom - bravo.

The food is okay. The last time Wait staff was horrible or should i say my waiter. The bus boys did their jobs. My waiter was NO GOOD. especially on new years eve. Bottom line his tip was not good. The waiter was no where to be found. The food especially the entrees came out way after midnight. This was the 4th and probably last time my wife and i go. The place went from wow the opening week to progressively worse The last 2 times the Marinara on separate occasions was burnt. The meatballs are OK. The caci di pepe was pretty good. Ribeye was ok and the pork was returned because it was still moving. But again for the price The delivery of food and timing was was off. Tables we sat next too not far apart. However they received their f*ckin dessert and we still didn't get our entrees. Needless to say left a bad taste. The mgt needs to get this in order. Was very disappointed and I most likely will not return. The mgr did the best by coming the one meal but in all honesty all should have been comped.

Sorry to say but it was not what we expected equal to the price of almost $600 for a couple. Upon arrival, we had to switch tables and the hostess (who really wasn't happy when we arrived) seemed annoyed she had to move us, they ended up trying to literally squeeze us in a spot that I couldn't sit let alone by husband who is double my size. We were sat again without menus and completely ignored for the next 15 minutes, finally I called the Sommelier over to ask him to help and he did choose a very lovely wine at our price point. We then waited another 15 minutes for our server who when he finally came over, didn't introduce and just started saying what the 4 course menu entailed. It was at that moment, I asked him if he was our server, he nodded and walked off, the next time I saw him was when we had to order desserts. Our first course was good but the sauce with the meatballs tasted burnt so that was inedible, I would have returned them but no one came over at all to help except for the sommelier who kept pouring our wine. Second course of pasta, the Pomodoro was cold, didn't eat that and at this point, I succumbed to the service and just left it on the table. The bus boy seemed to notice we were being ignored and tried to come back to check but really didn't do much, finally last course took 60 minutes and I am not exaggerating, literally an hour, we sat and drank and tried to enjoy the evening as much as we could since we couldn't go anywhere else at this point but we did speak about leaving. Finally the sommelier noticed we still didn't get our entree at 12:30am, we started at 10am and went to go check on what was happening. Again, never SAW the server, when our entrees came a few minutes later, my pork chop was raw and my husband's rib eye was lukewarm. Service never checked on us and never apologized. We had a visit from the manager who told us he would only charge us only "one meal" and we were so frustrated at this point, we just nodded and I mentioned that my pork chop was inedible and the bus boy put it in a container. He asked why I didn't tell our server and I said, I had not seen the server in the last hour! He then asked to take the container and in the back and about 30 min later brought me a new pork chop to bring home. This was awkward and cringy and I didn't know what to say but I had a talk about the service and the gratuity that was included in the bill which I didn't want to give to our server. Soon after, our absent server walked over to pay us out and I could see about 5 employees all discussing what I has told him in front of us and the server himself rolling his eyes and complaining about his service. Mind you this is only the time we saw him, he dropped off the bill and I left and mostly me and the diners next to me said they would never return. It was that bad and for $600 dollars (bill / drinks) I was so disappointed and I doubt I would return. Overall, one of the worst dining experiences I have had, please do better.

Looks elegant But the Noise spoiled everything so that we. left without even being seated. Slow jazz would be fitting for this occasion BK

The ambiance is sublime, and the service top notch. I must say I went in not expecting much of the food when I looked at the menu, but I was quite impressed with some of the dishes. The focaccia was a little doughy for my taste. But the sauce accompanying the artichokes (as well as the artichokes themselves) were delicious. I particularly enjoyed the agnolotti. The stuffing was a mix of eggplant and yogurt that was delicious, and it paired really well with the zucchini mint sauce. I'd go back just for the agnolotti. I enjoyed the cacio e Pepe with truffles as well, and appreciated the freshly shaved truffles on top.

This restaurant was fine, I wouldn't rush to come back. Nothing stands out as drawing me back, and the fact that they had a discounted cash price on their receipt is really strange to me (more than a cost of a credit card fee).

I had a good experience here! I came here with 3 friends for my birthday dinner. We had a reservation at 9:45 pm. We all got there late but they were able to seat us at our table around 10 pm. At first when you walk in, there's a small dining room and a beautiful bar. I didn't realize there was a downstairs, which is where our table was. We were seated in the semi private room on the left. The restaurant is beautiful which is why I picked it for my birthday! I love the dark lighting and exposed brick and "cave-like" features. It's definitely a vibe. We weren't too hungry but my group split 3 entrees:- Chicken parm: this was my second favorite dish. Ck parm was crispy and not soggy! - lasagna: my favorite dish- Bucanti: I would pass on this, but my friends liked it!- Affogato ($15): this is not worth $15. The Affogato at Torrisi is the best one I've had and this one just does not compare. Because our dinner was late and we were seated in the back room, it felt very private and as if the room was just for us! So we were able to take pictures without bothering anyone. Service was good. No one was super duper friendly but they were attentive and constantly filled our waters. They don't have a physical dessert menu so our server had to recite it all from memory which was very impressive!

This is a very cool spot, but in my opinion the food didn't quite deliver. The focaccia was a little too chewy, the Caesar salad could've used just a tad more dressing, and the agnolotti was interesting and delicious but way too rich. The casarecce would've been perfect with a bit more flavor. The price point is incredibly high for food that doesn't stand up to other great Italian spots in the city. Great vibes inside though, especially downstairs. Really cool space.

Service was subpar. However, we did come on a Saturday and it was busy. Drinks took awhile to come out. Food was OK. The meatball appetizer was probably the best meal that came to our table.

Delicious dinner and gorgeous restaurant! The beautiful maitre d Ruta sat us at a prime table where we enjoyed three courses of baby artichokes, beet salad, tuna caprese, calamari, cacio e pepe with truffles (!), chicken parmeggiano & branzino followed by a tasty affogato. Excellent way to spend a Friday night! Will definitely be back and can't wait to order the tuna again!
