Saturday at 10pm I can't believe that I've never gone to this place when I lived in the les , I totally missed out on their version of a sandwich . Because it's late , I wanted to keep it "light" and had a burrata with anchovies ( soo delicious ), washed down by a glass of Sauvignon blanc .Service is super friendly and attentive by every single staff which is atypical . Special shout to Luis! Small , quaint and have the trattoria vibe with one side of the wall open to the street which allows one to be engage by the activities outside but with an arms length ( watching vs being in the midst of) while eating delicious bites . The rice balls ( cacio pepe and the other options are all exceptional). As it was my friends bday , the staff made it special by wishing and singing happy birthday which completely made her day ! Thank you !

Stopped by for a cozy bite with friends. It definitely brings the ambiance and nice service for a night out. Beautiful lighting and interiors feel like a treat for the senses. Food wise, perhaps it was not their evening. I wasn't particularly impressed with the filling of the Trapizzini Pollo Alla Cacciatora (Chicken). The chicken was basically not there in the room with us. Mostly sauce. Other trappazinis ordered were the oxtail, the meat lacked flavor and was not memorable. I was underwhelmed by the broccolini we ordered as well. Described as "Slow cooked broccolini with ricotta salata cheese and garlic confit," much of which was not coming through. Under seasoned and just not worth the price. There are quite a few offerings on the menu ranging from antipasto to pasta dishes. We intended to order more but were not appetized by what we had already ordered so decided to skip it.

Hard to understand menu but did appreciate that having a reservation was respected. Fried risotto ball appetizers were a perfect compliment for the Trapizzini's, iconic Italian pizza pockets. Great date spot!Locations in Rome, Milan, Florence and New York!

What a strange restaurant. They have essentially open hot pockets for $9.50 each called trapizzinis. The ambiance and decor makes it seem like a $$ restaurant, but then you're hit with the menu and you're not sure whether you're supposed to order one or two or more of these trapizzinis. Is it a tapas type situation? The bread is very thick and the trapizzinis are presented on little stands.

I was in the area and decided to try this out today since i was in the mood for arancini/rice balls. In my neck of the woods in Bronx, we have some of the best Italian food in ny. I got their classico and their cacio e pepe.Classico suppli/riceball: Meh. Decent crust, however the mozzarella in the middle was cold. Ok seasoning, but unimpressive.Caco e pepe: Boring as heck. Dry, desperately needs some sort of sauce.Overall: Not going back to, waste of time and money.

I enjoyed a lovely lunch date at Trapezzino, an Italian cafe focusing on trapezzini, a Roman street food shaped like a triangular focaccia pizza pocket with various fillings inspired by Roman home cooking inside. My waiter suggested either the chicken cacciatore or the braised oxtail for something more filling. I opted for the latter, and I'm glad I did. The meat was so tender, and the hearty tomato-based stew worked so well with the bread. The bread was a little too charred in my opinion, but my server told me that it was deliberate to render a crispy exterior, contrasting with a soft fluffy interior. When the weather is nice outside, the cafe is perfect, whether sitting outside for people watching along the sidewalk or getting some natural air from the open windows. I love the classy yet still casual European ambience. Service was terrific; I felt unhurried even after wolfing down my trapezzino.

I found the open atmosphere enjoyable -- in good weather of course. Trapizzino is famous for their pocket pizza (not to be confused with pizza pockets or hot pockets). A fun twist to pizza, but still packs a hearty punch. Overall, I would definitely bring friends here for a fun lunch when it's warm outside.

This was my first experience with trapizzini, and the bread was impressive--soft. We tried the chicken and braised oxtail fillings. The chicken was flavorful, infused with rosemary, while the braised oxtail was tasty but not particularly memorable. I'd like to return to try other ones, especially the meatballs. The olive oil cake, though decent, didn't stand out as much as others I've had.

We were able to get seated pretty quickly when my friend and I got here on a cloudy Saturday afternoon. We had the choice to sit inside which looked nice and cozy or outside on the street with some cover. We chose outside. After eating so much food to go, it's nice to finally be able to have a sit down meal. We just got the food in the pic, but it was the perfect amount of food for us without being too stuffed. The meatball tasted lean with some freshness from the Basil and the right amount of tomato sauce. The oxtail was unique as I've never tried it with this type of bread before. The flavors veered on the subtle side. Overall we left satisfied.

Great Italian spot with delicious pasta and a cozy atmosphere. The service was friendly, and the flavors were authentic. A solid choice for a nice meal, though a few dishes could have been a bit more refined. Would definitely return
