Tried this place because it was the closest to my hotel when visiting and so happy I stumbled across this gem! Absolutely loved the variety! The Caesar Salad Pizza was novelty for me as well as the Chicken Parm one so I had to try them both.Every slice was good BUT the white slice was my favorite. Simple but so tasty. The ricotta was complementing the crispy dough of the pizza itself I was so surprised. My second favorite was the Vodka one. Another simple yet tasty option. I'm a huge fan of thin crust slices and this is definitely top 5 for me.

On a cold, rainy and busy day this pizza hit the spot!Somehow between travel and meetings I had gone all day without eating and was looking for somewhere that was a short walk from my hotel to grab a quick bite. I had am amazing slice of lasagna pizza elsewhere a month prior that I couldn't stop thinking about, so when I searched for "lasagna pizza" I stumbled upon Traditas near by.They sell pizza by the slice which was what I was looking for, so it was easy to just walk in, order at the counter and wait for my slice to be heated up. When I took that first bite, I almost melted in my seat. It was so good - hot, crispy crust, flavorful and rich. Despite one slice filling me up quite a bit, it was so good it felt like a crime not to get one more slice knowing it might be a long time before I'm able to enjoy a slice from here again.Seriously, it was so good that I still think about it. Ordered a large cheese pie for delivery for $25 ($4 tip). Arrived promptly & warm (not hot). Visually the cheese color & cook (brown patches) as it outta be & looked fine. But I was suspicious when I saw the crust edge. No cornicione bubbles AT ALL! The dough was flavorless, dry and unworthy of a true NY pie. Definitely no fermentation in the dough resulting in a pretty mediocre pie. Really disappointing as I'd hoped I could find a new contender in the "quality pizza in the neighborhood"department. Traditas is a pretender. Trust me, I'm not just a native NYer but also a retired chef. The search continues...

Came in with high hopes based on the small but enthusiastic review sampling but left disappointed. Ordered a slice of chicken parm pizza which had too little sauce, and the chicken tasted rubbery and several days old. Wasn't reheated warm enough and crust also tasted a little bit coarse, like cardboard. Water machine was broken also so no drinks available unless you bought soda. Would be a good option most places in america as there appeared to be many other appealing slices , but my personal experience was Ok at best by NY standards

My go-to pizza spot when I'm in the area. The staff is welcoming and friendly and they are very quick. It's pricey because of the area but it's worth it! I usually get a bruschetta slice or grandma slice which are just under $5 a slice. Both are delicious and made with high quality ingredients. I'd recommend stopping by if you're in the area

Came to Traditas as part of a FiDi pizza tour. It is a surprisingly large space, with quite a few tables inside and out. We shared 3 slices here- the vodka sauce slice was by far my favorite, versus the others (buff chick, chicken parm). The vodka sauce was really tasty!I wasn't as big of a fan of the chicken on the other two slices, but I did appreciate the creativity of the slices. The crust was just okay in my opinion.Would return to have their vodka slice, and maybe to try another slice too.

Arrived in NYC and needed that NYC slice of pizza! Traditas pizza was close to the hotel I was staying at so I popped in to try out the pizza. Clean establishment! I ordered 1 cheese slice. It was good. I was also able to sit inside and enjoy the slice!
