Tiny, take out kosher Jewish food spot. They used to have 1-2 small tables to eat your awesome sandwich & kugel at. The health dept said they are not licensed for eat-in, tho, so they sadly had to remove it. Great brisket sandwiches & great sides.

I usually cook for the holidays. Not necessary after finally using this place. Leftovers are also great. Everyone enjoyed. I'll be back. Worth every penny and not overpriced for sure. Thank you everyone at Tov U'mai Tiv. You are great!

The vegetable soup is good. It's more like a barley and bean soup. It's made daily and is good year round. The fried chicken is good and the BBQ chicken too. Once in a while they make chicken in a tomato sauce with onions sort of like a cacciatore. I always get that if they have it. One thing that does bother me is the guy behind counter always tries to give you more than you ask for. Once I wanted one peice of chicken he said its small want two? After he wrapped it. So I took his word and said yes. He gave me two huge pieces. It's all about the up sell there. Whenever you order your food he says sternly "vot else". Like there's a minimum or something.

The line are always around. the corner. The food is delicious. Best way is to call ahead and order. I did that for years. They didn't use to take credit cards but I believe now maybe they do. When it's not busy you can sit down at the one table in the back. Everything is always fresh! Also they are just nice people. Before Covid when my grandkids were young they were hungry and stopped in and told them they were hungry, had no money but their (Bubbi) grandma would come back and pay. So they got served the soup. hey ate, said thank you and left. The following week after they told me what they did, I went in and paid the bill. He seemed to not even have remembered and told me he didn't realize they were my grandkids. lol True story. I'm a loyal customer. Not paid a cent for this review. I wish they would deliver.
