"Kakuni" is huge cube shaped simmered pork. It will be melted in your mouth, super tender. Comes with steamed buns, lettuce, sweet sauce & Japanese mayonase.

Cozy spot that's a little bit of a hidden gem to find. I love how it's underground - it makes me feel like I discovered somewhere only known to locals.There is limited seating inside so definitely be aware of that. I also love how small the menu is - it generally means everything is fresh and you can see everything being cooked in front of you. The aesthetic is interesting - you have their big pots of broth boiling over the stove top and can smell the delicious smells. Everything came out pretty quick.Menu wise, decided to try the spicy ramen and also got a bowl of broth which was around $6.50. The noodle textures were good - it's not the biggest bowl in the world, but definitely filling.For a cozy day especially during the winter, I'll be back to check things out.

Came here with friends and ordered the Deluxe Mega ramen, which comes standard with wheat noodles. This dish is excellent choice if wanting a surprising amount of meats compared to other ramen places for the same price. The drink prices are a bit steep for the area though.

Tasty ramen, great value, big portion sizes. The restaurant is small and cosy, it has about 3 or 4 tables plus a range of bar seating. The food comes out quickly.

I came here later in the evening for some ramen and we had to wait for a couple of minutes but the line moved pretty fast. This spot is definitely more on the casual side but the food was delicious! The ramen was so flavorful and filling I would definitely recommend for someone looking for a cozy ramen spot!

A hidden gem! If it's delicious ramen you want in a no frills environment then this is the place for you. Some of the best ramen the beau and I have had in a very long time. Sit at the bar or grab one of the few tables. You won't be disappointed. Thanks Darren!

Whenever I want to impress my friends with NYC ramen, I always bring them here! This place is so delicious. Everyone working there is super chill and nice. Just keep in the mind that your party should not exceed more than 4. This place is small but so worth it. I recommend Toribro Mega is deliciousssssss. I always add corn to mine lol
