We had a late lunch at Tony's Di Napoli located at Theater District after a walking tour of. Manhattan, NY.And what a great experienced!Delicious foods (we ordered Fried Calamari for appetizer, House Salad and for main course/ entrees are Linguini with Seafood and White Sauce, Saltimbucca (soft and savory) and Chicken Marsala. Portions are really family style sizes.Jamey was our server, he's friendly and made sure that everything's ok with our meal. Service up to par. Managers are helpful and with very positive attitude. The restaurant got some nice displays of celebrity caricatures, big menus on the wall and this place is clean and tidy.Definitely a must try when in Times Square area or Theater District.

When in New York, seek out some Italian American comfort food! We were walking around the Theater District around 6 on a Friday, and hadn't made any dinner plans, so popped into Tony's, expecting a wait. Right as the host informed us of a 25 minute wait, two people at the bar stood up, and we were offered those seats, so went ahead and took advantage of that! The bartender was friendly, and service was quick despite the restaurant filling up. One thing that is important to know, and the bartender didn't mention, is that the dishes are served family style. I think they mentioned something like you can only order the half portions at the bar, but we didn't realize that the half portions were for 2. There was a hibiscus spritz on the cocktail menu, so I started with that, and enjoyed it. We also received a basket of interesting sesame bread, that wasn't warm, but was good. I ordered a half sized Cesar salad, and the bartender asked if I wanted it on two plates - I said yes, because I figured my sister would want some of her own, and we got 2 full sized appetizer salads. To be fair, I thought the prices on the menu were NYC prices, not double prices! Anyway, solid restaurant Cesar, and I'm pretty sure they use the sesame bread for the croutons, which was a nice addition. I ordered the chicken parm, half sized, combo, because I wanted some pasta with my chicken. The servings were really quite generous, and it came out hot, saucy, and very cheesy. Overall, I enjoyed it. Value wise, if you're smarter than us, and realize that everything is double portion (at least), per person, this restaurant is quite affordable. It's a bit dark inside, and at one point, there was definitely a singing waiter. Big dining areas, on two levels, plus a large bar. At the end of our meal, the bartender brought us a cannoli too, but we ended up pretending to eat it while slipping it into my sister's cheesecake box from Juniors, because we did not have cannoli room, though it was enjoyed later.

4.5 Stars ! It would've been 5 stars but service was quite hectic, especially this was in NYC prime area during the holidays.Love that the meals were family style so we were able to share. Pasta was amazing, bursting with flavor. The calamari very crispy but yet tender.Honestly this place will always be my go to, Don't really have much to say but definitely on my top ten list of restaurants !PS: Make reservations, thank me later!

I wish O could give this place 10 stars. This location has been added to my favorites. We came here on a Sunday at 2pm. We made reservations through OpenTable and didn't have to worry about not getting in. Our server was a little slow to get to us at first, but a manager swung by and got our drinks going. When Andres was able to show up, he was super helpful and we had our minds made up until he mentioned the special. It was the Lobster in white sauce on some home made noodles. We got that instead and boy was it amazing. The drinks were good, they got refills quickly and replacement drinks for us just as fast. We got a 1/2 Caesar salad and between that, the bread and our meal, we were stuffed! As for the location, with our reservations we had no issues. The service was really good and the noise was loud. Definitely a place to remember!

I came to Tony's Di Napoli with my work group for a late lunch around 2:30 PM on a Thursday afternoon. The restaurant was packed as it was right before the holidays. Service was quick. We started with drinks and a nice bread basket. Afterwards, we ordered many items to share: PROSCIUTTO AND BURRATA: Cheese and meat. A perfect combination, great app. CALAMARI FRITTI: Well fried and a huge portion! CAESAR SALAD: An average Caesar, a huge portion as well. CHICKEN PARMIGIANA: Flavor was nice. The chicken itself was a bit dry, but it does come topped with burrata which is a plus. FETTUCCINE ALFREDO: Was tasty; however, the sauce was a bit bland and could have had a bit more seasoning. LINGUINI WITH SEAFOOD: Seafood was well cooked and went well with the pasta. VERY BERRY: A great assortment of berries topped high with whipped cream. The berries themselves were quite tart though but still a nice dessert to close off a heavy lunch. All in all, a nice option for large portions for a group meal.

Came here for a party of 20 and they did a phenomenal job. We did family style lunch/dinner. My fav is calamari. The only star lacking is the restroom is downstairs and harder for older adults. Overall great experience and would def back.

We had a very nice experience at this place. We were seated in the basement as we walked in, the venue was so crowded on this busy Sunday pre-dinner. The main floor is where the action is specially if you are in a big group but was not disappointed when seated downstairs. Down here we find peace and faster service. We asked our waitress the guests popular orders. We were not disappointed in what she recommended. The two of us had a shared chicken meal from their specialty menu and a side meal of string beans. The serving amount is just right. The taste is super delicious. Never had Italian cuisine fur all and it's worth the wait. Coffee and pastries to end the meal is a common Italian way. Just perfect!Beautiful decoration. Fast and modest service. Well recommended place before or after a show.

I ordered eggplant parm, garlic and oil pasta, and baked ziti from here and everything was delicious! I had a craving for comfort Italian food and this definitely satisfied my craving. The baked ziti had lots of ricotta in it, and the red sauce was a bit on the sweeter side. The eggplant parm was a classic and came with a side of the garlic and oil pasta that was cooked perfectly al dente. I was impressed since I got it delivered. I would order from here again!

What a perfect chicken parmigiana. Saucy tasty and every thing you want in a perfect parm. Will definitely be back for this masterpiece. Service was so sweet and the food came out fast. We got lucky finding bar seating because the wait would have been over an hour. But after eating here, I'd wait.
