Amazing restaurant! The vibes are cozy and the staff is so friendly. It is a little cramped so I would recommend for smaller groups. Three of us for dinner was comfortable. The food was classic and comforting. Roast chicken with the kale salad was an elite combo. The meatballs were served with such amazing bread. Highly recommend. The fries were super stringy and thin and crispy. The aioli the fries came with was delicious as well. We got espresso martinis and spicy margaritas, both were very well made and strong. I will definitely be back here

I was in on 12/8/24 for a 12pm reservation. When I arrived a server Mehdi was extremely rude to me. He asked what I needed and I told him I have a reservation, he cut me off and was like I'm a server and walked away. Thank god the hostess came up and was so sweet and helped me with my table decorations I had for my friends surprise brunch.Unfortunately for me Mehdi was also our server. He handed me a second espresso martini that I did not order but he said "I'll take care of you". Then the bill arrives and he had charged me for the second espresso martini. When I asked about the extra charge of the drink he said "before you get aggressive, I'm gonna cut you off" such disgusting behavior. He then continued to have an argument with my other friend at the table over the $20 cake fee which he never told us about. We were fine paying it but he never told us up front about it. He kept doubling down and not apologizing for anything. So I decided I was not going to tip him. My total was $66. I check my bank account and the total now says $76. Mehdi added himself a $10 tip from me. Not only is this illegal but the audacity for him to think he deserved a tip after the way he treated me.This is unacceptable behavior.

The ambience of this restaurant is top notch! Very "tiny" and great for a small group dinner and drinks. The menu has a little bit of everything but isn't huge. The food is good but portions are not that big. My favorite was the kale salad. The fries are delicious as well! The burger is good but nothing special.

Upon entering we were greeted by the hostess at the front. She was very sweet and asked where we would like to be seated. Since it was our first time here she recommended sitting upstairs, which we enjoyed next to a window view. We ordered a couple of appetizers, the mussels, the burrata, the ceviche, and the meatballs. I also had the palomilla drink (wasn't a fan, a little watered down). The food was average. Nothing too crazy. Either way I'm glad I got to experience Tiny & The Bar Upstairs.

Tiny's & the Bar Upstairs is the cutest spot! If you want an intimate dinner with mood lighting and awesome food. This is the spot.We did not make it to the bar upstairs, but a group of six of us had dinner in the corner of the main level. It was very dark, but the lighting was perfect (though some of us did have to whip out our phones to see the menu a little better). I ended up ordering the kale salad with chicken. I was needing something a little lighter after a couple of days of heavy meats and pastas. And this salad was DELICIOUS. The portion was pretty generous, and adding the chicken added the bit of protein I wanted! A nice bright dressing, and all the flavors went really well together. It's clear why it's a fan favorite! A friend got the ricotta cavatelli and added chicken, also tasty! I wish we had been able to stay longer and experience the bar upstairs as well, but we had a show to get to!Overall highly recommend!RICOTTA CAVATELLIhen of the woods mushrooms, grana parmaapple, carrot, walnut, gouda, maple vinaigrette

Went for brunch for my birthday and it's such a cute place! Sat right in front of the fireplace and was perfect when it was cold outside. Don't forget to get their buttermilk biscuits and jam. It was so good!

I'm not really sure what more you could want from a restaurant in NYC. This place is simply the best. The burgers are amazing and the atmosphere is special, in my opinion. Each floor gives you a different vibe of old world New York. The bar is an awesome place to grab a delicious Martini and I prefer that level or the upstairs over downstairs to eat. Great for solo, date, group. They also have a really fun menu that has some interesting choices like Matzoh Ball Soup! Haven't been for brunch but surely will try. Lastly, the burger is just so rich and perfectly cooked. Enjoy!

1/1 Ambience; 1.5/2 Food; 1/1 Service; 0.5/1 ValueThe ambience is charming and gorgeous with a vintage NYC aesthetic that is perfect for a nice lunch or dinner! Upstairs accommodates cocktails, whereas lunch and dinner was being served downstairs when we went for brunch one day. The service was very attentive and accommodating, and since I did not want to drink alcohol, they also prepared me a mocktail on request. My friend and I shared a gazpacho, kale salad, chicken and waffles and the ricotta cavatelli. Overall, I thought the food was pretty good, with the stand out being the cavatelli for me, which was a light and refreshing, but filling entree. Overall, Tiny's has great service and an absolutely lovely interior, but the prices are on the steeper side. Note, this review is a couple months outdated, and since we ate here, the menu has been updated.

We made a last minute reservation after attending a gallery opening nearby. Wanted something cozy and delicious. Service was cordial and attentive. Got a corner table on the banquette downstairs. Candlelit, cozy. We had the mussels and a burger with sides of cauliflower and fries (for the mussels, burger came with). Meal was perfect! Prices on par with Tribeca, but w/chic, intimate, old-school charm. A place of great character. We will be back!
