Came here to meet up with some friends and people I've never met and it was a great place to come and grab a drink! Was easy to sit and talk without it being too loud.Had a cold Guiness and nothing to really complain about at all!The service was friendly and just had a good vibe to the place in general! Feels like an Irish pub, come in and give it a shot yourself!

Came here for work drinks - never been here before but stumbled upon it during my lunch break. Has the British pub feel to it - the space is actually quite large when you go all the way to the back. There is also a massive patio at the back with heaters. We didn't go to the back as there was a corporate event. The place was definitely buzzing. A little bit hard to hear at times when there were loads of people but it got better. The place is part of the Fitzpatrick hotel - I made a reservation prior to the event to ensure we had seating. Cat, our waitress was phenomenal.

No complaints. Cool pub with great drink and food options. We stopped in to watch the World Series, it wasn't super super crowded like some closer options. Grabbed a couple of beers and their potato skins. The potato skins were mashed potatoes like potato skins. They were pretty good could've used some more cheese and bacon. Would go back again for some beers and order something else.

Great space for a small outdoor oasis in the busy city. The service was 5 stars, the food was 5 stars and the value was great. Guiness was poured right with lots of drink options available. Come early, as space fills fast and is first come first serve. They have two spaces with TVs you can rent that have awnings. Alternatively, the bar attached is great fun too. Very clean pub feel. Definitely worth dropping by for a pint with friends!

My co workers suggested we go here after work. Pubs aren't particularly my vibe. The restaurant reeked of beer. The customer service was great. I will say me and my coworker shared some guac and chips and our stomachs were hurting immediately. We also had wine so I don't know if it was the wine or the guac and chips that messed up our stomach, but we were in pain from that, but everyone else seemed to like their food.

Server clearly doesn't like his job. Served me cold eggs and potatoes. Never came back. Needed water. Needed hot sauce to try to provide flavor to the food. Never saw him. I like chewy bacon. Luckily. But if you don't -- tough :). Also-- look closely. They included a 20% tip and didn't tell me.

If you need a great, casual place with nice ambiance to meet a friend or two, this is perfect. The wood ambiance gives you a 19th century writer's pub feel. The drinks are good, food is better than normal pub fare and served with flair. I like the private booths. This isn't a place for a big group to meet, it would be too cramped. I'll be going back when I need to meet someone for a drink. Service was a little slow, but that's ok when you are meeting for drinks. Remember to tip well.

Honestly, I don't have very much to say about this place. I used to work near here, so some of my colleagues and I would come out after work for a couple beers. I haven't tried any of the food, so I couldn't tell you how that is. Usually after work, there's enough seating to fit the 3-6 of us who come out, but at times there's a bit of a wait. The pub is a lot bigger than you would expect it to be based on what it looks like from the outside, and it has the typical feel of a pub. The service is fine, but like I said, I've only ever been here for a couple of drinks after work. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it, and I definitely wouldn't recommend going out of your way to visit the Wheeltapper Pub, but if you're in the area looking for a convenient place to grab a couple beers, this is a solid place to do it.

People were generally really hospitable -- the crux of my review is that I got two Powers shots (not neat; shots) and come to find out they're $16 each. The guy says to me, "we've got Jim Beam for $13/shot; it's the cheapest whiskey we have." Enough said: usury is usury.

Do not get the chicken curry and rice. The rice was extremely dry and possibly over cooked. The curry tasted really bland and the chicken was probably old.
