Wow! Where do I start? I've been to The Tyger a few times but a group of us decided to go for Lunar New Year and I'm so glad we did. It was an amazing experience all around.Food: we went for the feast menu which basically gave you a taste of all their best dishes. I was worried I would be limited with gluten free options but they actually substituted everything I couldn't have or made alterations so that I could enjoy it. I've never had a restaurant be so accommodating. They even accommodated my friend's other dietary preferences as well. Every single dish we had was delicious but my favorite was the sea bass. The fish was so tender and flavorful, I would definitely recommend ordering it. The coconut bomb is also such a light and refreshing dessert. Portion sizes were also plenty for a family style meal. Service: As soon as you walk in they are super welcoming and take your coats. Sarah was our waiter and she was so amazing! She made sure that all of the servers told me what was gluten free and what wasn't. She checked in on us throughout the night. She even brought the dessert out with a candle for our friend who we mentioned is moving and told her "bon voyage!".Ambiance: The decor in the restaurant is beautiful and it is spacious. They even have a private room. They made Lunar New Year extra special with a dragon performance and gave us red envelopes to put in its mouth. Sarah also gave us mandarins at the end of the night as a sign of prosperity. 10/10 recommend!

Really enjoyed my dinner and planning to come back! All of the food was good with my favorite dish being the fried chicken. The string beans had a delicious sauce. I liked the pad see ew, but it was heavy on the black pepper so if you're not a fan I'd probably stay away. The tofu in it was crispy on the outside and really soft in the middle and I would happily eat a place of just that. The restaurant had a cool vibe and it'd be a fun place to go with a group of people and just try a bunch of things. The food is meant to be shared family style. My only negative is that it was loud. My friend and I had a little trouble hearing each other at times even on a weeknight. Service was great. Our waiter was nice, water refills were really fast, and they did a good job pacing when the food would come out.

I really enjoyed it! The food was very good. We did the 85 dollar package for the table and ended up with such great dishes. The highlight was the pork ribs. Fall off the bone! Loved the lunar new year celebration. They had two Chinese dragons roaming around.

The food was delicious. Please save room for desert you will thank me later! We chose to do share plate style. The baby gem salad was a legit gem! This salad was so good I hardly could believe it was healthy. The rice had a kick that kept my spoon shoveling it into my mouth! The octopus was good a little chewy for me. Also must confess I am not an octopus lover. The mini crab doughnut we could have ordered 3 more! I did not get my fill and it had surprising flavors. It did not sound appetizing but never judge, because it was all that and more! That crème brûlée custard goodness!!! We almost skipped desert and that would have been a huge miss. I am glad we pushed through because this is on my favorite desert shortlist! The service was good. My only dislike was the ambiance. This seating was not convenient. When others exited you had to move your chair or tuck in. It was very load to where it was hard to have a normal conversation against the people and loud music. I would love to visit on a weeknight versus a Saturday to give a full comparison. I could see this being a late night spot after a few drinks to grab dinner.

I absolutely loved this restaurant. It was my favorite spot during my recent trip! From the moment we walked in, the staff was super friendly and engaging. Our server was attentive and made the experience even better. The ambiance here is trendy and vibey, with a mix of bar seating, booths, and tables. What we ordered: * Phnom Penh Fried Chicken * Pan-fried Pork & Shrimp Dumplings * Pad See Ew * Singaporean Chili Crab Fried RiceThe Phnom Penh Fried Chicken was the star of the night for my friends and me. The lime and white pepper dressing served alongside it was absolutely fantastic. It complemented the juicy, perfectly cooked chicken so well that we even used it on our other dishes. The dumplings were another hit! The tom yum dipping sauce was a surprising but delicious addition, with its slightly sour flavor balancing with the dumplings. The Pad See Ew was a classic dish done right. Simple, flavorful, and delicious. The only dish that wasn't my favorite was the Singaporean Chili Crab Fried Rice, but that's just because it was spicier than I expected! It was still tasty, but the spice level caught me off guard.Overall, this restaurant exceeded my expectations, and I'll definitely be back!

Throwing in an update to say this place is still a banger! Came here for date night on a Friday evening and had an incredible dinner. This place is always packed and understandably so. We were still seated on time and while it was a little cramped, we managed! Had some of the things I'd ordered last time included the sashimi of scallop - still just as tasty and the house made egg noodles - the sauce is soooo good! We also had the Okonomiyaki Mini Crab Doughnut which was really tasty. Only one comes per order so definitely order at least two if you plan on sharing. Very small but the the dough is crispy and the inside is soft and the crab was fresh and creamy! We also had the crispy lamb ribs and they were delicious! They're coated in a delectable sweet and sour sauce and served with sweet pickles. We thoroughly enjoyed them! 100% would still recommend this place. 5/5 stars!

I came here for dinner on a Monday night. I arrived a bit late, but they seated my friend while she waited. We originally sat towards the back of the restaurant, facing the street. A couple of the street lamps were brightly shining directly into our eyes. They didn't have curtains so we asked to switch tables. I enjoyed their music playlist, which included afro beats. The music wasn't too loud so it was easy to hold a conversation. To drink, I had the West Wind. I was expecting it to be fruity and sweet. It initially had a fruit flavor, but the after taste was quite bitter and unpleasant. My friend got the Tyger Strype and enjoyed it. To start, we shared the crispy turmeric and coconut crepe. This was a unique dish. Spiraled carrots and mushrooms topped a crispy fried base. The dressing soaked into the dough, creating a rich, flavorful bite. There was about a 10-15 minute wait between serving my entree and my friend's. I waited for hers to arrive so my food was cold by the time we started eating. I had the spicy mi goreng noodles. These were sweet and savory and dripping with flavor. Not very spicy, but coated in a generous amount of sauce. I would've enjoyed a few more peanuts. The noodles were topped with a puffy, half cooked egg with crispy edges that provided delicious texture to the dish. Overall, I enjoyed the food, but service and ambiance left a bit to be desired.

What a huge disappointment! Really wanted to like this spot as the food looked good, however this was not the case. First, we arrived alight early at 4:52pm they open at 5pm. Restaurant was open and so I asked if we could be seated. The host was so rude and said no you have 8mins to wait. And instructed us to wait next door at the bar! 8 minutes until opening! What??! So we stood outside and started looking for other restaurants nearby, once he saw that he came over and said oh why don't you come in and I can seat you. Why did you not already do that ?! This already left such a sour taste in our mouth. We should've just left! That should've been our sign! Then the host before seating us said that he needed the table back at 7pm! What?! Two hours to eat? That should've been another sign to leave!!!! When we did get seated, we ordered several dishes to serve. First I the one bright spot was that they respected food allergies with a individualized menu for gluten free. I liked that! We ordered the chicken skewers, which were ok, not great. Was not even hot. Followed by the strings beans and the watercress veggie dishes. Which were great. I loved the string beans, which was made gluten free. Followed by the crab rice, what a disappointment this was ! Barely any findings of crab, it is SO thin. Not big chunks at all and can barely taste it. Do not recommend. We also got the fried chicken, which was mediocre. The sauce was sour and the piece was small. Additionally our server forgot this dish! We ended up getting this at the End of the meal! Most of the sauces here are filled with fish sauce, really nothing different from a typical Thai or Vietnamese restaurant. Overall disappointing meal, horrible and rude host, and very bland food filled with fish sauce that makes you drink a gallon of water after.

Beautiful restaurant that's great for groups... but I was really not a fan of how we had to wait over 30 minutes despite having a reservation on a weekday; we were given complimentary champagne, but no one really wanted to drink them as we had work the next day and were just hungry. The food was pretty good and I'm glad I got to try it out, but I'm not sure I would come again other than if a friend really wanted to. Dishes I'd order again include the Pad See Ew, which came with some delcious crispy tofu, and the hand pulled noodles. Portions are relatively small and we were recommended to order more than one dish per person. If you have a hungry party, I recommend the crab fried rice, as it's a bigger and more filling dish.
