We didn't even mean to eat here. More settled. Our walk around the city led us to this area. My intention was to get noodz close to this area, but we had walked about 5 miles and my feet were hurting. The rooftop option was what sold me, but unfortunately it wasn't even open yet. We decided to stay anyway because we really needed some nourishment. First off, the rosé was not it. We shared the wings, risotto and sprouts. The risotto was the only winner for me. The other two were whatever.

The rooftop terrace overlooking Penn Station is nice. The table was dirty and the server did not care to clean until we asked. The burger was sub-average and the salad was fine.I woukd give 4 stars but they tricked us with the bill. The server shows us the bill. We paid. Then she charged. I was surprised she never asked for the tip. Then I noticed she added 22% tip. This should be a crime.

My cousin, sis, friend and I decided to stop by this bar before the Nicki Minaj concert and it did not disappoint. The music was a vibe. It is directly across the street from Madison Square Garden so you have great ad views. Lol. What makes this bar so aging is the staff. I was trying to communicate with my sister over the phone to direct her on the location of this bar and a really nice gentleman who works at the bar helped me out so much and spotted her before I did. He was so sweet to help us and I will never forget it. The hummus was delicious and the drinks were good too.

I have been a huge fan of Dear Maud in Hoboken, another restaurant from the team behind the more recently opened, The Rutherford. When I discovered that they had opened the new bar, I was looking for a chance to try it. My friends and I happened to be in the Midtown West area for dinner, so I suggested that we stop in for an after-dinner drink. From the young staff to the dark green walls, brown leather bar stools, and modern decor, the place was very similar to Dear Maud. In fact, their drink menu was almost an exact replicate. Because of that fact, I was able to quickly decide on a cocktail - my favorite, the Margarita Picante, which contained jalapeno-infused tequila, lime, agave, pineapple, apple, and a Tajin rim. It possessed the perfect balance of sweetness and heat. The main differences between the two venues were that The Rutherford had a much smaller interior, offered rooftop/patio seating, and had tables made of jagged slabs of polished wood. They also had televisions inside playing sports, a feature I did not miss at Dear Maud. The Rutherford was a casual, yet trendy spot across from the typical mediocrity around Penn Station/MSG, and would definitely be worth checking out if in the neighborhood.

Pizza IPA and ambience are all pretty good here. Service was also pretty good for a busy place. We will be back.

Nice outdoor seating for food and drinks after catching the Knicks playoffs game. Oh and we ran into the Knicks Dance Team there also. It's Manhattan so of course it's pricey but a good place to enjoy the sun in the city over food/drink/conversation.

There's not a lot here for vegetarians, but the fries are good, and so is the pita humus (surprisingly garlicky). The service is friendly and attentive. Pay cash if you can. They cater mostly to tourists because it's right across the street from Penn station. The main area is accessible, and there's a pistil up a flight of stairs, and a rooftop up on the other side. Good place to come for a beer between trains. Nice clean restrooms downstairs.

There's a reason why you can get a reservation here on the night of a concert at MSG. 5 stars for the service, The food is average at best. Typical bar food with not much excitement. It's alright, nothing to write home about. But if you are going to the Garden or Penn Station, you can't beat the location.

Very close to MSG. Happy hour priced drinks were good. $12 for all cocktails. Good for NYC. Has the Maud, it was delicious for $16 as a tequila & mezcal drink. Nachos were good, no protein. Salsa verde & queso fresco was fresh. It was an ample portion. The Cesar salad was unremarkable for $16 and the "Spicy" Rigatoni was neither spicy or vodka sauce. It was a bland, uninspired red sauce with no flavor. I asked for salt & pepper, which I found odd it wasn't at the table. They do not have pepper. Come again?!?! No pepper? That's right. Nada. The Pinot Noir on the HH menu & cocktails were good. Service was good. It's a small place - many people brushed up against me at our high top. It was fine. Altogether - it was okay. Not blow your mind food, but it was 3/5 stars for cocktails & location.

Nice roof top bar when weather is nice. Service is good. Price is on par for the area. Nothing exceptional, but convenient to Penn Station.
