Palm Restaurant is everything you could want from a top-tier steakhouse and more! They offer an outstanding variety of steaks, prepared to perfection, along with the impeccable service you'd expect from such an iconic establishment. On my visit, I opted for the salmon, and it was absolutely delicious--perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. For dessert, I couldn't resist trying the New York cheesecake, and let me tell you, it was out of this world. Creamy, rich, and the perfect sweet ending to an incredible meal. The restaurant's prime Manhattan location makes it easily accessible and adds to its charm. Inside, the walls are adorned with amazing artwork, featuring portraits of famous figures and loyal regulars, which create a unique and memorable atmosphere. Palm Restaurant delivers an exceptional dining experience whether you're a steak lover, seafood enthusiast, or simply looking for a classic New York spot. You can't go wrong with this iconic gem!

I found myself at The Palm for an educational dinner. Whenever I can make it work I like attending these because usually it's at a place that's new to me and I end up learning something new. This latest event brought me here to The Palm - I don't frequent Midtown West that often but it wasn't too far of a walk from my office so after work I strolled on over for some food and knowledge. The Palm is located in the thick of the Theater District - in fact, it's directly across the street from the Gershwin Theater where Wicked plays. As such, the restaurant is bustling and filled with (what I assume are) tourists. I didn't realize it at first but there are several Palm locations throughout the country, namely in major metropolitan areas. The dining room was fairly large with several private rooms; the decor was moderate, medium wood tones and white table cloths with noting too outstanding. There's a lot on the menu to appeal to the masses - apps of varying cuisines, soups, salads, Italian dishes, steaks, and sides. We started with a bunch of apps: fried calamari, some cold bar selections (shrimp cocktail and seared tuna), arancini, and crab cakes. The cold bar was my favorite of the apps - the shrimp were large and the tuna was great. The calamari and crab cakes were also good albeit standard. I wasn't a fan of the arancini - not a lot of flavor and tasted like they came from the freezer. For the salad course I had the Caesar - this was generously dressed without being too much and had good flavor. We had three choices for main: steak, chicken parm, and a vegetarian selection (whatever that meant). I usually opt for steak at these events but I wasn't feeling it that night so I opted for the chicken. The cutlet was large (it was likely two) and served with linguine on the side. It was as good as any other chicken parm I've had, so no complaints here. We were served "family style" desserts which is standard with educational dinners - likely multiple desserts served on one plate to share. Tonight it was zeppole with a variety of sauces and cannoli - both were fine. Service was great - everyone was attentive and overall this was one of the better educational dinners I've been to in a minute. Taking a step back and looking at the restaurant as a whole, I think it's a solid option for the pre or post theater crowd; there's something for everyone on the menu and they are very efficient. I'm not sure when I'll be back per se, but if I was seeing a show this would definitely be a place I would consider patronizing.

Always love The Palm. Ordered the Valentine tomahawk and enjoyed it - it came with wine and tiramisu. We added salad and sides and everything was good.

Quick stop into The Palm for a round of drinks before seeing an evening broadway show. Open table seating in their bar area just to the left of the host stand (you don't need a reservation to sit at a table in the bar room). Well lit and themed caricatures paint every wall. My espresso martinis came out quickly and were made perfectly by our bartender. Will definitely return again in the future to relish in the atmosphere, delicious drinks, and positive friendly service!

Yum, yum, yum. For my birthday we go for lobsters, there were 3 of us. We met for a drink at the bar early for a cocktail. If I had 1 criticism of the whole experience, I hate when they don't fill up the martini glass. You charge enough, it's not good to start off slighted. We sat down and they make your birthday special. There's glitter on the table and little happy birthday glitter. We ordered a bottle of wine, and then dinner. Server was good. We had salads, you can share them. I had the wedge , love the bacon, and they had a simple green one. We ordered 3 lb lobsters each and the half chips and onion rings. Also goodThe lobster was great, good size, lots of butter. I love lobster and it's easy to get disappointed with size and how it's cooked. This met or exceeded my expectations. See you next December 30 thI

I came with my sister-in-law yesterday for dinner before our show. We waited over an hour for our food. The steak arrived dry and overcooked (I had requested medium). To make matters worse, we only received a 50% discount on the steak's original pric, even I didn't really eat that . The service was extremely disappointing. I usually enjoy there but... very disappointed
