Came here as our first stop on our annual NYC TRIP -- Stumbled across this place and decided to get a drink around noon on a Thursday.Sat at the bar, met Marissa at the bar, the service was phenomenal but it was her attitude and overall energy -- just a quality person you want to be around.Service was fantastic , drinks were great, would come back !

Made a reservation here for 11am on a Monday for three people. There was no one there when we arrived and they required all the party to be present despite that fact. The waitress was very attentive and nice, and the decor was a cool classy diner vibe. You are limited to 1.5 hours and they do unceremoniously kick you out at that point. The food was all pretty excellent. Had to try the onion soup of course, and I had the burger. My bf had the omelette though and that was weak. I would come back here for sure.

The Odeon is still going strong after over thirty years of service! This legendary French bistro in Tribeca is the perfect spot to see and be seen. The bartenders stir up ice cold martinis and the menu offers classic bistro dishes like French Onion Soup, oysters and mignonette, omelettes, roast chicken and steak frites. I think we can all agree this is quintessential comfort food. My partner and I managed to grab the corner bar stools near the windows and enjoyed a leisurely meal with Côtes du Rhône by the glass, martinis and Negronis. Yes we also had food! We spilt the daily vegetable sandwich with pesto and broccoli rabe, French fries, French onion soup and Mac & cheese. As we took our 2nd lap around with cocktails, we met a group of 3 friends who have been going to the restaurant since the 80s and they confirmed the place is a cultural and gastronomic institution. Shout out to Liza (with a Z) and her publishing posse!

Visited my co-worker for work and she recommended this local gem. We got a reservation for 2 on Tuesday at 12:00pm and every table was full when we were seated. The food really spoke for itself. Food: I ordered the Lobster Roll and it was wonderful. The portion was perfect for one person. If you decide to share it with another person, I recommend ordering an appetizer with it. I got a side of fries and a dessert that I can't think of the name.. oh well, guess I just got to go back! haha. Service: No complaints, server was nice and accommodating. We received our check in a timely manner.Atmosphere/Location: The seats are fairly close, so I appreciated how mindful others were of their surroundings. Great place to catch-up with someone. I'm not sure I would conduct a business meeting here, but if it's informal, I guess that'd be OK. Overall, I loved the food here. When I'm in the Tribeca area, I'm definitely going to try more of their food on the menu.

New York classic. Has great drinks great food and great vibes. Wish their hostesses were more helpful and proactive. Went in with a group of six no reservation, 9pm on a Thursday. We knew it would be busy. We were greeted told I would be 30-40 minutes and sat at the bar for a few drinks. Their dirty martini is delicious, with they had blue cheese olives. We checked in with the hostess around the 40 minute mark, and were told 2 tables had paid and they were just waiting for them to make their exit... After one hour and ten minutes we went up to the hostess asking on where we stool, and one we of being helpful, understanding, proactive, they said we told you it would be at an hour and started making her argument. Not cool, not profesional, not adding any value. Simply not necessary. After we were finally sat, waitress was great, quick and friendly, food was quick and delicious. Had a bit of everything, oysters of course, fries, beef bougenion ( sorry for the spelling) and steak frites. Everything was great. I would recommend you go at least once and if you live close by adding it to your rotation of restaurants.

I loved it! It was 200% busy on Wednesday snow night! The bar is cute, I got there early and had a martini then my friend arrived and we moved to the table. I love their onion soup, it's pretty heavy and I recommend to share. We had steak tartare, beef stake, salad and flies then share caramel pudding was delicious! Sorry forgot to take foods pictures.

The ambiance is nice at this spot but it seems like it's very loud all the time. At first the waitress wanted to sit us in a small space at a table near other people - crunched in and we had to ask for another table in private. The food is ok. I had the burger. It wasn't over the top and the cheese selection wasn't too vast. I prob wouldn't come back here because of how loud it is -- almost like a high school cafeteria!

The Odeon offers an elevated diner experience in Tribeca, but my recent visit on a busy Saturday left much to be desired. The service was notably slow, to the point where we considered leaving due to the extended wait times. The food was merely okay, which was a disappointment given the hype. On the bright side, the drinks were quite good and helped salvage the experience somewhat.Unfortunately, the atmosphere was marred by the presence of wet dogs allowed inside due to the rainy weather, which resulted in an unpleasant smell. While the concept is intriguing, this visit did not live up to expectations.

Drinks on the patio on a perfect fall day is exactly what was needed! Loved the traditional aperol spritz served with perfect olives. Service is always great here & will certainly be back to this iconic Tribeca staple.

I will clarify that the staff was AMAZING! However, the food was just ok. I tried the onion soup, steak tartar and tuna burger and I was not blown away by anything. The soup was the best dish for sure but not memorable enough. The steak tartare felt a little too overwhelming in taste and I love steak tartare always order it if available in the menu. The tuna burger's flavor was really good but the entire dish was kind of dry.Overall, It was just ok but I did find it very expensive so don't think I'll be coming back
