This place is legendary. Need a quick eat after a late night? Munchies is your spot.Was there around 3am trying to get some halal. Sadly they ran out of chicken but it's cool it's 3am lol. Got their fish gyro which I've never tried before and some mango habenero wings. Brought it home and scarfed the whole dam thing. Amazing. $30 for a massive fish gyro, 6 wings, and a box full of fries is wild.

Holy shit! Have I even lived before today? I joined the munchies cult just now. I haven't even made a dent in this lamb platter. One meal will feed three people and it's delicious. They aren't cheap with the meat. Price is right! Service is quick and they r cool. I did ask for jalapeño tomatoes and onion . My son got a gyro and he's like they really packed this in!

I stopped in for a chicken over rice with fries platter. A good amount of food and it tasted good. Didn't end up having to hit the bowl like most places that have the white sauce. The place is clean, but the outside area is dirty because of the PJs around the area. Open late, which is good.

I got off the train late one evening, and I was extremely hungry. The lady on the train was sitting next to me and I would have an abbreath conversation and she told me to check out the munchies when I got off the train I went inside and it was bustling. You would have thought it was 3 o'clock in the afternoon, as opposed to almost midnight. There were drivers coming in to pick up orders. Locals standing in line waiting for their food to be prepared while a well-oiled machine of a team put together burgers, chopped cheese's, and a plethora of other dishes. I ended up going with a chicken gyro with less hot sauce. Coming in around $ 7, this thing was huge! I ended up having to put it on a plate and cut it with a knife and fork. The flavor was good, portions plentiful, and the staff was professional and efficient. Next tim, I'll get all the sauce on the side. It was a bit too much white sauce for me.

Okay....new halal spot. I mean talk about pleasant! Walked in for the first time and they were super patient. They have endless wing flavors and you can tell they like people. It's bright inside too which is nice. Everything is clean and everything is super fresh. Support the people and head over!

I've been patiently waiting for The Munchies to open for the past several months. The social media posts from their other location showed an appetizing menu. I decided to check them out today for lunch, and I was not disappointed. The staff are so friendly. It's always refreshing to be warmly greeted and welcomed when entering a restaurant. The menu boasts burgers, halal plates, wings, fish & shrimp, and hot sandwiches. You can order everything as an individual item or a combo with sides and a drink. Today I ordered a 6 piece traditional wings with hot garlic sauce and a 6 piece jumbo shrimp combo with fries and a canned soda. Good wings have been really hard to come by in this neighborhood, but that role seems to have been filled by The Munchies. The wings were a good size, crispy, and thoroughly sauced. They have a number of sauces from which to choose. I really loved the shrimp, seasoned perfectly and fried just right. Also, points for their healthy portion of seasoned fries.Inside is really bright and clean. There's no place to sit, so be prepared to take your food with you. The prices are fair and actually a bit lower than similar places around. Again, the wings were really good. What I didn't see on their menu but noticed once inside was their dessert display with cakes and cheesecake. They are open late, also a welcome addition to the neighborhood food scene.

The Munchies is a delicious fast casual Halal spot! The pricing is perfectly affordable and their portion sizes are just right! Falafels are cooked to perfection, and the service is consistently friendly and fast. You can't beat the location either, it's right off Utica so if you're going or coming, you'll be able to pick up an amazing meal. They get 5 stars from me and keep up the good work! #GoMunchies!
