Wow, when did this place show up on the map! You wont' even know it's there with it's blacked out windows and doors. This place is definitely a scene with tons of finance folks, is my guess. Everything was delicious but expensive.Coconut rock shrimp - deliciousPork gyoza - tastyLobster dumplings- delicious but expensiveTuna & chilies - not my favoriteWagyu - it was all deliciousGarlic fried rice - tasty but a bit oily Chef's selection sushi - fresh but kind of small for the priceOverall, the place had a wonderful vibe, delicious food and great service but is definitely a place where people go to be seen.

The service here was excellent. Our server was so kind and informative. We decided to get a bunch of shareable plates and in the end we were so stuffed, I had to take food home. My favorite was the Wagyu Sando. It was juicy and delicious, must try have here. Lobster pasta was also a favorite very creamy and balanced. I would have gotten a whole or half a lobster but my friend wasn't interested. I'll have to come back for that. Sushi and veggies and everything else we got were great. You can't go wrong with ordering anything on the menu. The cocktails are wonderfully crafted as well. I love how they have the icon of a lobster on the plates. It's branded in a very cute way. Ambiance was lovely

Fully enjoyed my birthday dinner here with my family. The service was attentive and warm, the ambiance wonderful and the meal was memorable! We really enjoyed the lobster, cucumbers, and the steak (we actually loved the strip steak more than the tomahawk). Do NOT skip the dessert - wow I still dream of the pineapple shaved ice (the flavors rotate).

This restaurant is 5 stars all around. I decided to treat myself to lunch there - no mind you they are NOT cheap, but for a splurge (or expense account) it is well worth it.The restaurant's decor is elegant and spacious although you can't tell that from the outside. There is a bar that is well stocked and you can sit at the bar and eat if you so desired. They had ole school R&B (Al Green, The Temptations, etc) playing which is my kind of music lol.I was seated promptly and order the bento box with Salmon, I could decide if I wanted the ginger scallion or the teriyaki sauce so the waitress brought both on the side. The meal came with miso soup, spicy tuna roll, cucumber salad, white rice and green beans. As soon as I ordered my food it started arriving and as soon as you finish your plate it is taken away. The service is on point!Everything was really good although the salmon could have been a little larger but I guess since it was lunch time the portions are a little smaller. The ginger scallion sauce was amazing! I would have brought a bottle of it if I could. I also ordered a spicy shrimp fried rice to go home for dinner which was good as well. I believe I was in and out in under an hour and I wasn't rushing to eat.Well done The Lobster Club - you are definitely worth a visit.

This place definitely gives off an upscale vibe, from the bouncer outside the door, to the plush red carpets inside and windowless interior. The bar is backlit and inviting, and the main space is split into low lounge tables, and normal booths. I came for dinner for the first time recently with my aunt, who has been many times before, and it did not disappoint! For food we ordered:-Lobster dumplings (juicy and succulent in a simple ginger garlic scallion sauces that rly highlights the lobster)-Spicy cucumber salad (spicy and umami- I dipped a lot of things into this sauce!)-Crispy rice (a classic and beautifully presented)-Miso eggplant (spicy and flavorful)-Rock Shrimp (hot and crispy with a nice herby dipping sauce- liked these with the spicy cucumber sauce!) -Scallop Dragon Roll (delicious fresh scallops and avocado, simple but good)-Toro Roll (simple but good, preferred the crispy rice to rolls though)I really liked everything, but standouts include the Lobster Dumplings (simple but showcases the lobster) and the spicy cucumber salad (that sauce is addictive!). I also loved how visually appealing the dishes were. I also got the Club Colada drink which was delicious- very mangoey and tropical. Service is super good (meets the MFG standard)! Our server was attentive and helpful, I have a nut allergy and they were super accommodating and careful. They also give you a coat check ticket for your to-go boxes, which is nice and efficient. Overall it was a great experience, with delicious (albeit pricey) food and drinks in a nice environment with amazing service! Would definitely return.

For the price, you'd expect the food to be amazing. It was just good. The service was pretty horrible- from the moment we walked in the hosts were rude and our server wasn't great at all. We asked for recommendations and she wasn't super happy to give them. Would've loved to spend my money elsewhere.

The ambiance in the restaurant is modern yet old. I think they took the style from the prior restaurant. The service was impeccable and knowledgeable. Our waitress's recommendations were excellent. The steak sandwich was outstanding and the sushi was fresh and delicious.

I made last-minute dinner plans with my friend Walter M. a few weeks ago, and he booked a same-day Friday reservation at The Lobster Club, apparently one of his regular spots. I said I was buying, and he told me to hold that thought until I saw the menu. I did buy, and I regret nothing. The place was swanky and colorful, with bold art and furnishings and a fun, loungey atmosphere. Service was great, helpful and attentive. The Lobster Club was, to my surprise, not a classic seafood restaurant but a fusion joint, with a sushi-centric menu and Japanese-inflected cocktails. I only had one drink, but I made it count. The Soba Old Fashion was delicious, a mellow, nutty cocktail of Japanese whisky, toasted soba, and Benedictine. The food was fantastic, pleasing in the particular way of going-for-it Japanese fusion. Perfect rectangles of crispy rice came topped with tuna and salmon tartare. Coconut rock shrimp were addictive, crunchy little bites, served with a flavorful dipping sauce that must have involved wasabi and mayonnaise. The lobster dumplings were superb, delicate steamed dumplings in a classic garlic/ginger/scallion sauce. The Lobster Club isn't the place to go for serious omakase-style sushi, but it offers both maximalist rolls and traditional sushi, and I found it all quite good. I do love a stupid cut roll, and the house lobster surf & turf hit the spot, a lobster tempura roll draped with slivers of seared wagyu. We each got the chef's selection sushi to round out our meal. This came with ten pieces of quality nigiri: chutoro, maguro, salmon, hamachi, hirame, kanpachi, scallop, amaebi, ikura, and uni.I had a great time at The Lobster Club and would recommend it if you want a vibrant spot for Japanesey fare in Manhattan. Bonus points for the easy booking on a Friday night.

Wow. Excellent. Ordered the crispy rice - to die for!!! Wagyu Sando, very good. But Wagyu is way overrated. And too veal-y for me. Octopus - spectacular!!! Giant shrimps. Very good, with an earthy African flavor profile just like African coffee and wine. A few pieces of Unagi, which my wife loved. Steak skewers, lobster. Both excellent. And the Tomahawk. This was, no contest, the BEST steak I've ever eaten. And I eat A LOT of steak. Only complaint was that it did not need all of the Szechuan spice. It was really waaaay too good to be so heavily buried in this much spice. They served us like it was a tasting menu -- and they brought everything out in the ideal order, and ideal time between courses. The dessert pineapple and the pistachio cake also both awesome. This was up there as probably the best meal I've ever eaten. Crispy Rice is spectacular. The toro was better than Wagyu. On top of how great this all was -- they even had REAL WASABI!!! And weren't stingy with it either!!!! All around unexpectedly spectacular experience.
