The Landing

I wasn't planning to eat at The Landing from the beginning. After searching and this restaurant quite interesting so I give a chance to try. I came a bit early lunch time so when I got there was no customer. The host asked me if I wanted to get a table, but I just want to chill out and enjoy some snack, so I prefer to sit at the bar. The bartender was friendly and nice conversation. I had a little Gem Salad and a glass on Passion Elixir. It was a yummy snack. The place got busy during the time. I was glad I went early. They told me they close on weekend, that make sense because the area mostly office.

The 4 star is only because they close at 8:30. Would be a lovely place to chill out after a game at MSG or for a nightcap before commuting home.The service, delivered by Hannah, was great. They were friendly, pleasant, and good with their suggestions.The cocktails (Manhattan and Negroni) were spot on as well as the two wine selections to go with dinner. I had the pea soup and the salmon and my friend had the French dip. He left no trace of it on the plate, it was so good. I will definitely be back and could become a regular.

A prime location surprisingly close to Penn Station that it avoids all the crazy commuter traffic in the area.Their presentation and options were pretty great even for dinner, honestly a steal of a deal for this area. Make it a point to walk around this building and check out the screens in the lobby for an excellent talking point.

We enjoyed a much needed lunch here after a very long walk through the city. Comfortable, nicely decorated, very friendly staff. The shrimp cocktail was a stand out. The aioli that was served with it was incredible and saved for whatever else we could slather it on. The roast chicken was beautiful, I would choose the burger over the French dip next time.The doormen/security in the lobby were extremely rude and unprofessional. Just push by them and head to the second floor via the staircase

Perfect lunch spot near Madison Square Garden. Food was delicious, pretty decor, very convenient. Service was friendly and attentive though we did wait quite some time at a few points in the meal, especially after the full lunch crowd arrived. Would definitely return.

Great restaurant to visit with coworkers / business meal. Making a reservation is key. Views from outdoor patio area are breathtaking. Service was excellent, appetizers were delicious and entree options were good.

Great atmosphere with prompt service and quality food. Definitely a new vibe place. Recommend you stop in for a drink if not a meal.

For my corporate fellas, this is the happy hour hidden gem. Great for last minute reservations for when your partner comes into town and you suddenly have to plan a last minute dinner. Unique location, it's at Penn 1 on the 2nd floor. The interior is warm and classy. Great for a business lunch, dinner, or just drinks with coworkers/friends. I asked for a last minute reservation (2 hours before) for 17 people and they were so sweet and nice!! Got a res immediately. No minimum spend. Just show up. Ok now the food. Everything was so delicious, my coworkers were cleaning up their plates. Some things i tried:Cavatelli Bolognese: 11/10 and will be a craving of mine bc so goodBranzino: skin. Crispy!! Fish meat, so tender!! White bean hummus: i didn't know hummus could be addicting Burrata: even the Burrata dish is unique?? They have crispy pork belly served with it and omg it was a 10/10. Def get their Burrata dish bc it's not your usual Anyway great vibes and my partners were impressed, so safe to say you can take your coworkers here

I had a large work event and 14 of us dined here. It was amazing! Great location and the food was wonderful! Many different dishes ordered and all got great reviews! Highly recommend!

Amazing light in the space beautifully appointed, wait staff attentive. I dislike it intently when you order a dish and items are missing or substituted with something cheaper. I ordered a salad that was noted as having Asian pear and pecans and neither were there. No Asian pear and the pecan substitute was a roasted grain that looked like barley.Switching ingredients is more of a cheap deli move than a finer restaurant move. Didn't know Asian pears and pecans were so precious!Was a turn off. If you visit confirm before ordering
