Came here for a friend's birthday celebration. Didn't really know this place existed until then and was very impressed with the interior design. This is a Friday evening, so the place was starting to get busy and turn into a full blown nightclub. They have an outdoor terrace, but it is quite small.A big appeal is their $5 Golden Hour special where between 5-9PM on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, all glass of rose are just $5.

Visited here on a night out visiting from Los Angeles with one of my girlfriends and we both enjoyed the happy hour experience. The check in was very easy, staff was kind and attentive and the overall ambience of the place was ideal for chatting with friends and just enjoying drinks whilst looking at the city views. Would recommend making a reservation if you're in Lower Manhattan as it was fairly busy after we left in the later evening.

The margarita pizza isn't a pizza for real. It's a very thin piece of bread with barely any cheese and huge pieces of basil on top. Do not buy the little bite burgers at all, they take little literally. They're extremely tiny for the price. The mozzarella sticks are worth it. This place is more of a lounge than a rooftop, the outside seating is pretty limited and u can't enjoy the view because of the tall walls. The music here is also pretty loud.

Definitely worth coming here for the amazing views!!! We came for happy hour, for $5 rosé. Service was great and frequent. We had a reservation, which I would recommend, especially if you want to sit outside. But the indoor portion is also gorgeous. There's a live DJ that plays good music too. The drinks weren't anything crazy special, but the views and ambiance definitely were!

Came for the golden hour $5 rose HH and I will definitely be back! They have this deal Tuesday through Friday from 5-9pm and I came on a Friday and arrived around 6:30pm. It was surprisingly not packed even though it was a gorgeous day. Even though we didn't have reservations they let us sit at a table for a bit until their reservations arrived. The rose was good and definitely a great value at $5 and the views and music were great. The outside is quite small so more of an indoor rooftop compared to outdoor since you would need a reservation to sit outside and if you stand it might be a bit cramped. The inside is quite spacious though and the bar is lovely. The service was also very quick despite it being during their golden hour special.

Tao group does it again. Such a vibe! The beautiful furniture, the big tree in the center, the food/drinks, the music, the city views! All of it. 10 points for esthetics especially.'Sorry I'm not sorry' cocktail- 10/10. A egg white-vodka cocktail in a nice martini glass will do it for me. Soo good I got it twice. My friend got the 'NSFW' drink and actually really liked it. Looked pretty too.'Black truffle pizza'- really good too. right amount of everything but kinda overpriced ($26 for small plates). We had dinner plans after this HH so we didn't want to order any more food, just drinks hehe. We got so lucky because we didnt have any reservations and walked in on a Friday night. Its on the rooftop of the Moxy hotel so you gotta go thru the security, down some long hallway, up the elevators just to get there. it's a mission but you feel legit haha. Servers are actually kind and helpful too, not full of it like some other spots. The bathrooms are beautiful too. Why 4 stars?-It's more of a lounge than a "rooftop" because the outside area with the view is super cramped. And with the tables/chairs taking up all the space there's no free-standing room to enjoy the view. - we asked the DJ for a song request and he rolled his eyes for whatever reason. He could of handled that nicer.

I've been here twice to both levels (top floor with table service) and lower floor with rooftop patio seating. The top floor was a lot of fun since it was darker and less crowded with a bigger dj area. There were lots of people around their respective tables who ordered table service. I had so much fun dancing with my boyfriend here. The lower level with the rooftop patio seating is also a lot of fun but is way more crowded but you can go outside to the patio to cool down. And I really enjoyed the mocktails that they had there. Would recommend for lounge/dancing 100% in Manhattan!!

Came on a Friday to catch the $5 Rose during happy hour, which was surprisingly good. The aesthetic is pretty, and the dj was playing decent house music. We sat at the bar. It didn't get crowded. If you're entering later at night, there's a minimum $100 per person spend.

Came for the views stayed for the happy hour. You can't be on LES and not hit up the "room". The highlight room was so amazing. The happy hour was cool, nothing to write home about. But the reviews make up for it so beautiful. Moxey hotel did the darn thing with this one.

This is a classy rooftop in Chinatown on top of the Moxy hotel. In a way it feels out of place for the neighborhood, but it offers great views of the Empire State Building and the World Trade Center. We went for happy hour, where they have $5 rose. That is a steal in New York, especially for such an elegant bar. The bouncers were especially friendly and guided us to the elevators. We didn't have a reservation, but they let us in and we chilled by the bar for a bit. All the tables were reserved and it seems like there were a lot of birthday parties and work drinks. We eventually managed to snag a seat when it quieted down. They have a DJ that was playing EDM pop. I loved the music and it was stuff that everybody would recognize. In terms of dress code, I would definitely try to dress up a bit. Most of the girls were in dresses and heels, and the guys had button downs. We felt out of place at first, but it didn't matter. The drinks after happy hour were pricey. The same rose right after happy hour ended up being $20. At that point, get a cocktail as it was less than that! The actual rooftop is small, and we couldn't go outside for a few hours because of a work event. Eventually we made it and it had great views though. This is a great date spot and I'd come back for happy hour!
