We absolutely loved the food here. Definitely one of the highlights of the weekend. The hand pulled noodles are amazing we also got some dumplings on the side. While it's a small space they've really made it cute with the newspapers and brick look. There's not a ton of seating so it's best to come when you're just doing a quick stop in, not something for a fancy sit down or anything. It's order at the counter and sit and bus yourself so no complaints on service. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area!

when i saw that they had a "no refunds" spiciness level for the noodles, i knew i had to order it. i'm here to tell you that no matter how much you love spicy food, don't do it. i have a high spice tolerance and enjoyed the pain, but unfortunately it completely drowned out all the other flavors and i couldn't even tell that the cumin noodles had any cumin in them. my friend tried one noodle and died. if you're trying to order wide biang biang noodles, note that they are called ribbon noodles on the ipad menu.my friends got the scallion flavor handpulled noodles, medium spicy, and they were fantastic. the handpulled noodles tasted fresher and chewier than the wide noodles.i appreciated that they had a seitan option but it was extremely spongey, not like the firm faux meat seitan from your local vegan co-op. the bok choy addon was very parsimonious, like two pieces at most. OTOH the dumplings were plump and really good.no bathrooms unfortunately.

a new spot for chinese noodles in HK. i was eager to try it out. This place is on a basement level focus on takeout and delivery, there are some seats around the wall if you prefer to dine in. You can make your order on the kiosk, but the kiosk information is unclear, their paper menu has a better description of the dishes. The noodles are pretty pricy, for that small amount of noodle for around $14 if you dont have any add-ons. the noodle itself if you choose hand pull is $1, i thought the whole reason is to eat handpull, but it's a extra for it. speaking of handpull, it's not the same as 拉面,it's 扯面 a different type of handpull , thicker and not the thin and skillful handpull as lanzhou handpull noodle. the noodle is chewy and thick has a lot of texture. if you like lanzhou style of noodle, this is not the place for you. The noodles standard noodle comes in noodle that are packacked pre made noodle. not recomended. it also loaded with scallion and cilantro, I'm talking about A LOT. you can opt out any of those in the kiosk. you can choose your spicy level, if you like spicy you can choose the spicy leve high it's not too much. if you want to switch to lamb or other meat then it's another extra. it all adds up for this small bowl of noodle. the chicken wings are great. freshly fried whole wing it's decent price at $8.5 for four whole wings. the cumin dry rub was ok, not much cumin flavor and not spicy. I'm happy just have any wings. but want to try lomon curry next time. Overall is satisfying and just what i needed for a cold winter night that i dont need to go far to get a hot bowl of noodle, but will I come back for more? probably not for this price, definitely not worth a travel to come here for it if you have other choices nearby.

A friend and I decided to check this restaurant out for dinner on a chilly winter night after I told my friend I wanted something "hot and soupy." The first thing that you notice when you walk downstairs into the restaurant is the cheerful jazz, which is admittedly an interesting choice for a Chinese-style restaurant, but totally works somehow. Ordering is done with a touch screen on the wall, and we got an herbal beef noodle soup, lamb cumin noodles, and spicy and tangy dumplings. Even if you are a spice noob, it's okay because you can choose your spicy level (medium is not spicy at all). The lamb cumin was pretty good, but my friend would have preferred thinner slices of lamb. My herbal beef noodle soup definitely hit the "hot and soupy" spot and warmed me up after a long day. The dumpling were also juicy and delicious. One detraction is the fact you have to pay extra for their namesake handpulled noodle, while the lo mein and udon style noodles are included as part of the charge. Still, it's a good place with quality cheap food, and tons better than Xi'an, as my friend says.

These hand pulled noodles are really something! They are so chewy, flavorful, and thick. Better than some of the hand pulled noodle shops I've had in Flushing. They do charge extra $1 for hand pulled noodles. You order on the kiosk which allows you to make several customizations on spice level, ingredients, type of noodle. I ordered the herbal beef hand pulled ribbon which is the thicker type. Their paper menu shows you drawings of the different types of noodles as reference. The soup is on the lighter side but still flavorful filled with cilantro and scallions (can be removed as well). Highly recommend and will come back again!

Despite the fun old school jazzy decor and music blasting, they aren't meant to be a sit down. They have seats and tables lining the walls but no bathroom. Which is a shame because I love consuming a warm bowl of savory noodles on a cold winter night peering outside their full-sized window. But yes, imagine to my surprise that my favorite handpulled noodle spot opened up a second, more central location (other is in west west Harlem), after so many years. Since I've had them in maybe 2 years, they've added many items to the menu. The in-house tablet has a learning curve, so I suggest looking through a delivery app for the their menu. I have yet to gone through their new noodle dishes but they now how cumin and lemon curry chicken wings. The cumin was surprisingly just cumin and no salt, so I'd pass but the curry lemon is something novel to try.In terms of noodles, I put my gf on the cumin noodle soup and she now sends me on runs to fetch them. I live in Queens btw... Before I don't remember being able to adjust the spicy level but she's hooked. I personally love I can just buy broth alone because I'm almost diabetic.

Handpulled Noodle is one of my favorite go-to's for delicious noodles in midtown Manhattan. The food is well prepared and the noodles are soooo good and yummy Really great on cold winter days in the city! The service is good and relatively fast. The location on West 44th is so convenient to Broadway theaters and the world famous Birdland Jazz Club!

the photos were more tasty looking than the food but the food was still good. i was lowkey shocked when my total was like $31 for like two things though. i really really really wanted to eat here for a while. omg the food photos on yelp looked SOOOO good and then it was close by AND the reviews were good too. so finally we were like oh where should we eat and i suggested this place and then they were like ummmmmmmm harlem??? and i was like bro we can take the shuttle for FREE. and they were like shuttle??????? cuz they think shuttle is sus af but i think they're just being poorphobic. so instead we went to their other location in hell's kitchen forcing me to spend an extra $6 and TIME on the subway. but oh well it was 2 to 1 and i wasn't too eager to try this place on my own. honestly i thought the prices were pretty reasonable on the yelp menus i saw and the ordering take out but when i placed my order for a scallion pancake and noodles my total was like $31 and highkey i was giving shocked pikachu face. cuz why did my two items average $15 a pop??? helloo??? but it's okay because it was good. it wasn't the BEST and my friends were like it was okayyyyyyy but i still appreciated that we tried it. honestly i really liked the texture of the noodles and the beef was good imo but my friends said mid. i liked the texture and chewiness and the decor throughout the restaurant was cute. but it's basically a take out spot. i didn't finish the scallion pancakes and ended up eating them like two days later and didn't get sick so i would say that's a win. afterwards we were close to times square and i was like we should walk and they were like ok and we did and i felt like a tourist and then we went to ben and jerrys where we all got scammed again. why do we fall for tourist traps all the time??? helloooo??
