Took my mom here for her birthday lunch. It's an upscale but casual vibe. Bathrooms are nearby and family friendly. We started with yellowtail crudo - fresh and just the right amount to open up our palate. Two pizzas- Rita and Mushroom to share. Crust were thin and the pizza had a good combination of sauce, topping, and cheese. Tini pasta - made this lunch into a seafood experience, where we had plenty of clams, mixed into our bucatini. The sauce was was tasty and not over empowering. Lastly, we ended our day with their chocolate hazelnut cake, topped with a birthday candle. A very enjoyable experience and friendly staff!

Was excited to try this spot as we are big fans of the Tin Building, but unfortunately it fell short. The food was decent, but for the price we expected better. I wouldn't get the chopped salad again but the calamari was okay. The service was really slow and inattentive. This could be because we went in between meal shifts but it was so bad it was hard to ignore. Water wasn't filled until long after the drinks arrived, salad came out way later than the other entree ordered, water was not refilled at a reasonable rate, it took an extremely long time to get our check which we had to flag down a different server because our waiter was no where to be seen, and once the check was brought to us they never took our card. To the point where we had to go up to the hostess stand and ask for assistance. We are patient and understanding but this was unfortunately something we couldn't ignore. There are so many other wonderful spots in the building, I would skip this one and go check out the rest!

Pretty good and easy enough to walk in here on a Saturday night. I thought the vibes were really cool. There's kind of an open kitchen area where you can see where they fire the pizzas. Service was friendly as well! As for the food, the main standout was the Chicken Parm because of how crispy and tender it was. The quality of the ingredients used also felt really high. The Calamari was okay-- it wasn't as crispy as I would've liked it to be, but the green sauce it was served with was delicious!! Yellowtail Crudo was also nice and light, but we were shocked by how small it was. My least favorite was the limone pizza. I was expecting the lemon to be very light and fresh but completely overlooked the fact that they were preserved lemons, so ultimately it was kind of bitter & had too much of the rind taste. I've been curious about The Frenchman's Dough for a while and really enjoyed my experience :-)

Thursday evening dinner with friends (party of 3). We ordered Crispy Calamari, Caesar Salad, Arugula pizza, Cacio e Pepe and Bolognese pasta to share. Calamari was a bit dry and over battered but everything else was delicious. The salad was well dressed and refreshing, the pizza was light, crispy and had a slight kick from the chili, the Bolognese was rich and flavorful and pasta wasperfectly cooked. Pasta portions are just enough for one person if you are sharing apps. We didn't have any leftovers. Located in the Tin Building the restaurants are more on the casual side but each decorated with its own unique personality. We got a nice table (but you may have people walking by who are generally shopping in the complex and peeking at your dishes). We didn't mind. Service was friendly, but nothing spectacular this evening.

Convenient location of going to the pier for a concert. We wish we had a little more time to explore the entire Tin building. Lots of different food choices including a little market. We had reservations at The Frenchman's dough. Seating promptly, service was great, cocktails also great. Pizza was nice, thin and crispy. We had the pepperoni pizza and ventured out of our comfort zone and tried the lemon pizza and not were we surprised at how much we liked it the pony suggestion I have would be to serve it with hot honey. We had the panacotta for dessert, which was small but perfect for us to share. Our bellies were full from the two pizzas. We didn't feel rushed at all and the place was busy. Very enjoyable dinner before the concert.

Came here with the family to celebrate Mother's Day. I had a reservation and didn't have to wait to be seated. Service was friendly though a bit slower at times (e.g., saw staff holding our bottles but chatting with each other before bringing it over). We all enjoyed the food. Started with calamari and caesar salad and then had 2 pizzas and 2 pastas. My favorite were the bolognese and margherita pizza which were great. The truffle pizza and scampi pasta were not my cup of tea but others at my table did enjoy them. The location is cute being on the second floor of the Tin Building in Seaport. Good atmosphere and energy. If you're in the Tin Building and looking for a bite, I'd say definitely worth trying.

Located on the second floor of the tin building by Jean Georges at south st seaport is the Frenchmans dough, along other restaurants and shops. It's a cute place with an open kitchen. The pizza is thin and delicious. The sauce is tangy and the dough was tasty. We also tried to saffron clam sauce which was super salty and we did not finish. It would definitely go back and try other dishes, highly recommend the pizza

The service was top notch, super friendly and engaging. My friend can't handle anything spicy and the server was so thoughtful when taking our order to mindfully remind us that the pizza we're ordering has a sauce that has a little heat to it to make sure we felt comfortable with our dinner choices. The pizza came and it was paper thin, so thin it collapsed in my hand! I think it's their specialty but I kept wondering "where's the rest of it?" I love a thin crust normally but this felt like a crepe. The pasta was very good and the sauce was substantial but the shrimp felt under seasoned and slightly over cooked. Loved the cocktails, they were refreshing and almost juice-like.The restaurant is located on the second floor and there was a lot going on with all the different dining options side by side. Very cool vibe, would come again.

The food here was amazing. We scarfed down 2 pizzas and the beaux said the chicken Parm was the best perfectly cooked chicken Parm he's ever had in his life. I had the rigatoni vodka and it was amazing. It was quiet when we visited on indigenous peoples day and the staff was very polite. No regrets. The restaurant and bathroom was also very clean.

Came here on a weekend night and was able to be seated at the bar fairly quickly. The service was great and the ambiance is quite nice, I'd describe it as a place for an upscale date night (dim lighting, modern fixtures, etc.). The service was great and I thought that our waiter was attentive and the food came out quickly. I tried the limone and argula pizzas as well as the yellowtail crudo to start. I really enjoyed the crudo (thinly sliced raw yellowfish) as it tasted super fresh. The vinegary topping was a great addition and complemented the delicateness of the fish. The limone pizza was unlike any other that I've had before. It comes with sliced lemons on top and ricotta cheese. The hint of citrus and brightness that the lemons brought to the pizza was nice, but I wasn't a big fan of the crust and felt like the pizza was falling apart. The argula pizza was another solid choice and a great option for those who are lactose intolerant. I liked the chili oil and peppers that were on top, but I again wasn't too happy with the crust. Overall, I liked the flavors here and thought it was super fresh, but the pizza crust was just a little thin for my liking!
