The Deep End

The Deep End is one of those spots that instantly feels like a hidden gem tucked away in Ridgewood. It's not just a restaurant; it's an experience. From the creative vibes to the eclectic menu, this place stands out.First off, the decor is a blend of industrial and artistic. Think neon signs, mismatched furniture, and a cozy yet edgy atmosphere that makes you want to linger. It's the perfect backdrop for catching up with friends or even a laid-back solo meal.Now, let's talk food. The menu is diverse, offering everything from loaded tacos to comfort food classics with a twist. I tried the loaded tacos and let me tell you, it was a flavor explosion! The really took it to the next level. Portions are generous, and the quality is top-notch. They also have great vegetarian and vegan options, so there's something for everyone.The service was awesome too I give them 5 stars !

I ordered delivery from here. The onion rings were amazing. Super buttery and crispy, they were served with a tangy mayo that I really enjoyed. The jalapeño poppers were also pretty good. They were stuffed with cream cheese and served with ranch. The vegan impossible smash burger was huge; I struggled to finish it. It was well prepared. I added a fried egg as well. I would've preferred a few more options for toppings. The accompanying fries were notably well seasoned. They could've been a little crispier, but that was probably due to arriving via delivery.

Food: ordered a couple well drinks and ordered some tenders and fries. the drinks were quite strong! food was prepared quick and they were large portions. we weren't able to finish everything so would have to say worth the price. Service: bartender was very friendly and attentive. it was early Friday night and we had stopped by before a show at h0l0 so it was pretty quiet. Ambiance: decorations were pretty unique and had a lot of interesting artwork on the walls. the bartender told us that they host game nights and drag shows, which both sound super fun. played good music as well. pretty dark in there.

I think this is a pretty good spot. On at least two or more occasions, I did come here for the Tippler program (way back and got the spicy margarita). That drink was actually impressive, you would think spicy margarita is just a basic b drink but this one I was totally a fan of. The drink alone, Spicy Margarita would get a 4.7 out of 5. I actually need to go back and try it again. The food was not bad, just order wings and onion rings. Would come back to check this place again in the Ridgewood area.

Came here as part of the Tippler and I had a great time!This place is a little hard to find but has a very fun dive bar vibe. Absolutely love it!I ended up getting a spicy margarita, which had a lot of kick to it definitely a great drink for the summer.They also do a bunch of game nights as well during the week and are conveniently located next to the Mirage.IG: QueenOfAdventureNYC

Catering, wow! We got a spread of tacos carnitas, veggie, and chicken from The Deep End for a 30-person picnic in the park, and what amazing compliments we got!I'm Mexican, so have very high standards for tacos in NYC. As a Mexican-owned restaurant, they definitely delivered! They even brought their own hot pan to help warm the tortillas. These were certainly a hit!Added a photo from one of their karaoke Sundays for fun. Also a blast and v warm, community and LGBTQ+ friendly feel.Highly recommend!

Had no idea what to expect when we wandered in here, but it was delightful. We ended up here on karaoke night and while we didn't sing, we had definitely had fun listening to everyone else. This is a pretty basic neighborhood bar, but the food was surprisingly good. My husband and I got a selection of deep fried bar bites and they were all good. We tried the Onion Rings, Chicken Fingers, and Jalapeño Poppers and enjoyed all of it. This is a small bar, and apparently pretty popular, so you may have to wait a few, but it's worth it and definitely a fun night out.

There are so many places to go to in this area. However, the Deep End is in a class by itself.Where to start, They had the coolest door guy, which many places don't and is a bummer from the start.The place is spacious and has great vibes.The manager was awesome and was just so cool to okay the carpet performance It was an awesome time.The bartenders were just as great.Anyone can seriously have a great time here.I've been to so many venues, but The Deep End will always be one of my favorites.

Great bar food. No frills room, but the wings, the fried pickles, the burgers.....all of the food is great. Service is great. Drinks are solid.Visit, but not if you're expecting white cloth.

Came here during the Autumn Tippler event to try their signature cocktail, The Bad Hombre. My first time ever trying a jalapeño infused cocktail and it was delicious!!! I also ended up ordering the fried pickles to go along with my alcoholic beverage. The pickles were crunchy and juicy ( perfection). I stayed long enough to finish my drink and to order a burger to go. Only outdoor seating was available and the weather was chilly ( not quite enjoyable for me.... after all I'm a summer baby). While I waited for the burger to cook. I decided to redeem the check in offer of a free shot to warm myself up. Definitely was needed. Overall my short stay was good I believe I would have stayed longer if the weather had been nicer. Would recommend if the cool weather does not faze you.
