The Campbell is an amazing speakeasy bar located near Grand Central. They serve well-crafted cocktails that range from classic to creative ones.I tried the Manhattan, of course, and loved how strong it was. I feel like you can't go wrong with any of the choices here. If you're unsure what to order, the staff here is quite helpful. They also offer a couple bar bites, if you're feeling peckish. The spinach artichoke dip is great. There's a decent amount of seating, but I highly recommend making a reservation to fully experience the amazing ambiance of this bar.

The Campbell is the epitome of a Manhattan cocktail bar--sophisticated, moody, and vibrant. Its warm, ambient lighting and beautifully crafted bar, create a timeless and elegant atmosphere. The historic charm is unmistakable, with grand windows, intricate ceilings, and detailed woodwork that lend the space a luxurious yet inviting feel.Cocktails are expertly crafted, whether you're sipping a classic martini or indulging in a creative mix. The dim candlelight throughout the room enhances the cozy, intimate vibe, making it the perfect place for meaningful conversations or celebratory gatherings. The crowd is lively, filling the space with energy. On select nights, live jazz performances add an elegant, soulful touch to the experience. Reserving a table is highly recommended.

As a long time New Yorker and huge fan of both Grand Central Terminal and OG Gossip Girl, I was so happy to finally try this bar. I love entering directly through the terminal in true speakeasy fashion. The decor, ambiance, service, and quality of drinks lived up to the hype. You get to meet people from around the world.

I never knew this place existed until recently coming here for an after work event. Being that this was inside the Grand Central Terminal building, the architecture caught my attention. The place is pretty crowded so reaching the bar was a bit difficult and then getting the bartender's attention was another task. I tried a few select cocktails, including the Spicy Paloma (although spicy and alcohol on an empty stomach was not a good idea) and Picante Conde (mezcal based cocktail). Delicious.

There was a private event in certain places, it seems. According to the hostess, that's what she stated to me. So, we couldn't go to those areas. This was a speakeasy type of place, so getting to it from the inside of Grand Central Terminal was a journey. Going from this way, there was a smell that was quite funky. There's a way to get to it from another street or entrance, which is much easier. There's an extensive menu with bar snacks and drinks inside. The group got the Spicy Paloma, the Fallen Angel, and the Chandon Garden Spritz. I tasted each one, and I liked the spritz the best. But my coworker didn't like the spritz too much, and she wished it was sweeter. The crowd you can tell is an after work crowd. I thought it was a speakeasy, but I could be wrong. If you just want to go for some expensive drinks just go there.

My friends and I came on halloween which was funny cause everyone looked all business while we were dressed up! We walked in with no reservations which was fine, we didn't get a table and just did standing room at the bar (7 ppl). The drinks are good! You don't taste the alcohol but it's definitely there.

Nothing changes this place - not even new owners and a new name. The ambience is stunning, the drinks are delicious, the food is tasty (meat/cheese board and pretzels), the prices astronomical, but the service was unenthusiastic and strangely reluctant. We had to flag our waitress down every single time. The host was friendly and the bartender was great too.
